How can they lose against a weak team that doesn't even have a place in tier-1 test system, and that too when Bangladesh managed to put a total of more than 300 on board? And most of their regular bowlers were available for this match, including Mustafizur Rahman, Taskin Ahmed and Shoriful Islam. Just confirms the argument that Bangladesh can't perform without Shakib al Hasan. The captaincy tactics of Tamim Iqbal failed completely yesterday.
Actually, the problem is not only having Shakib Al Hassan on the team. I think there is a problem with the player's mentality. They should have posted for a lot more runs when they had the chance and they also had a lot of wickets in hand. At one point it was looking like Bangladesh is going to score around 360.
I have to say the score that Bangladesh put on was decent enough but they could not defend it at all. How on earth a team like Zimbabwe reach the total of 304 against Bangladesh! Things are really not looking good for Bangladesh when they have multiple ICC tournaments ahead of them.

Though they weren't able to score good during the last ten overs, what they've scored as a target of 303 runs is big enough. Bangladesh didn't thought that Zimbabwe will have such a strong order to reach the target. Here we can't say someone is wrong or mistaken. Zimbabwe performed better than Bangladesh and won the match. From bowling part Zimbabwe too didn't perform good, because they weren't able to take more than 2 wickets. With Bangladesh they weren't able to stop the scoring and break partnership of Zimbabwe batsmen.
In ODI match 303 is not a bad score for any team. Here one thing keep in mind that if sufficient wickets in hand they have to play a more aggressive role towards the end. It is very common practice but i don't know why the Bangladesh team seems to have forgotten that, only two wickets lost but i didn't see any aggressive moment by their cricket at that particular match.
