In today's 3rd ODI match between New Zealand vs Sri Lanka, Sri Lanka won the match by 140 runs. Sri Lanka team came out to bat and gave a target of 290 runs losing 8 wickets in 50 overs. Mark Chapman played brilliant inning of 81 runs but didn't complete hundred. Sri Lankan bowlers have done the main job today. The batting was normal as it should be in this pitch. There was unexpected collapse of New Zealand top order in today's match. They had lost the first 5 wickets in just 21 runs. Still, they scored 150 runs, which is not bad. The tri-series among Pakistan, New Zealand and South Africa is going to be interesting before the Champions Trophy.
I will say bowlers and batters both have well done in this match from Sri Lankan team. But to be honest, I didn't expect such a performance at all and I think many people here lost their bets today. Anyway, I wanted to place a bet on New Zealand in this match, but unfortunately I didn't watch this match due to my busy schedule today. Anyway, it worked out good for me in one respect. 
I now feel like the New Zealand team, when they win every series, they rests themselves in the last match on that series and that is why they quickly collapses in their batting line-up. Besides, I don't see any other logic here.

Also if Sri Lankans have the potential which they displayed today then why not they showed it in first two games, why they waited for 2 consecutive loss to regain the form. Sri Lankans were in complete command of the game today, first in batting they scored 290 runs and then in bowling they didn't allowed New Zealanders to score runs. Chapman was the only New Zealanders who score runs today but his knock was not enough because of no support from other end.
