if I remember well there is something called monitoring in IT. some stuff that sends alerts on threshold apparently...
Some even use it to have automatic actions when an alert is raised.

I had a DRK monitor in c-cex it failed
All the monitoring in the world wont help an issue like this if the proper checks arnt in place properly.

woudl suck if CR died - it is the biggest exchange and many coins need it - SUN too.

If a coin NEEDS a shithole like CryptoRush, then there is definitely something wrong with the coin. Have you even looked at the 20 pages of this thread or many other threads on the subject?

I think poster was just saying that it was(is) well known and that the people trading (insert coin name here) knew/mostly used that market. I find it that most if cr did go away, they would use other markets as the whole thread/news from some other sites said "I recommend getting your coins out for safety just in case" in my opinion meant login to cr, click on balances, see whatever coin balance you had/have, then go to startpage.com (i think ddg.gg would work too, I just haven't used it much) and type in coin name bitcointalk, and you will be presented with a thread of your coin most often than not assuming you are here reading this and are familiar with bitcointalk site. I find it usually not giving me results using searchpage from site and entering coin name, it usually gives me stuff I'm not looking for using this built in site search so the workarounds I presented (at least from my experience startpage.com works well). So if people that trade whatever coins it is do this, they will then find whatever market their coin is in and might possible trade their coins there whatever market is listed. At the moment, I am kind of concerned about cr and till things are cleared up, I don't want to risk my hard earned coins on loosing them if insolvent/site goes away so better to be safe than sorry such as lots of ppl lost coins on gox and other sites have went away also since gox. Even some exchange lady outed herself and also some coin developer did so also. I don't think the reason was presented yet but I am assuming they just though "ah never make it" and gave up. Life presents challenges and I would advise never to give up and out yourself, because if you work hard eventually it will pay off, and hopefully get you out of whatever mess you may have gotten into.

Catch 22

You won't get your coins back unless CR can generate revenue.

They can't generate revenue unless you trade on the site.

result?  You shit is gonzo yo.....

I am happy that the President of Cryptocurrency United Association at University of Toronto Mississauga now control 25 % of @TheCryptoRush

Now you just have to notice the previous page(s) of this thread as well as the non-existing nature of the president of this students club

Reminds me of trying to lock up a bicycle safely.  They can always pull something off it however you try.   best thing is multiple fail safes and assume if they know where the bike is its only a matter of time

Just in case someone hasn't seen this:

dear cryptorush "devs". you copied your website from my openex beta source code. you should take the website down immediately.

at the very least, you need to do the following:

find on login php where the $loggedInUser Object is created for the loggedinuser class. prior to setting the session add this line.

Code:
session_regenerate_id(true);

as a quick fix you can cut/paste this into config.php of the models directory, however for performance and the sake of doing it the "right way", these values should be set in php.ini

the real way to prevent session fixation and hijacking in php
Code:
ini_set('session.cookie_httponly', 1);//prevent hijacking
ini_set('session.entropy_file', '/dev/urandom');//choose a source to pull entropy from
ini_set('session.entropy_length', 16);//integer amount in bytes to read from dev/random
ini_set('session.hash_function', 'sha256');//prevents fixation as bruteforcing is pointless at this point.

for your sake, i hope you switched to bcrypt or mcrypt for password hashing as well.

I'm not trying to be rude, but the code is full of race conditions and lacks any protection against sql injection. it also doesn't use transactions. you will have a constant nightmare as long as you use that source code. for the sake of your users, take the site down, pay someone to fix it or wait until i've finished with the new openex source code before someone loses big money and sues your ass.

also, your source code is likely vulnerable to malleated transactions unless you added a secondary table to check against changes in tx hash for the same amount/account timestamp. this is an issue that was brought to my attention earlier today. there is much more. if you would like to talk you know where to find me.

Do we have any real information of these guys?

They have outright lied to our faces. We constantly asked about BTC withdrawals and were always assured "it's working, just keep retrying" DESPITE letting them know IT'S NOT.

The entire cryptocoin scene is full of thief "blackhat" hackers and scammers.  Pools and exchanges being attacked and looted daily.. scams on websites and IRC.. pump and dumpers stealing from all who follow them.. it's time to diversify.. I spent many of my coins on hardware and even precious metals a couple months ago and have no regrets.. now just mining and trading my way back up and utilizing 7 of the altcoin exchanges.. One man on IRC lost over 230 BTC on CryptoRush.. I am sad for him but it was foolish to keep that much on an altcoin exchange..  If only people would read the Bible and follow Jesus' commandments we would have none of these problems.. Thou shall not steal!  Do unto your neighbor as you would have him do unto you.  Love your enemy..

Yo do realize that the current crypto market revolves around ponzi coin trading, right? Most coins do not and will never have merchant support. By buying those low and selling them high, you are effectively earning a profit by taking money from a future bagholder who will never get that investment back. I cannot say that I have a problem with that since that's how crypto day trading works, but I would think that your belief would include "don't make a profit off of another person's loss" despite it not being one of the historically accepted commandments.

finally someone who agrees with the way I try to live my life also. I am not sure how one would loose 230btc on criptorush unless his passwords were used in multiple places and absolutely sucked at security (doesn't keep up with a good antivirus/antimalware/etc, doesn't clear flash cookies/regular cookies/history/goes to infected pages/etc. So far maybe I just been lucky but I haven't had any of my exchange accounts compromised nor did I have a problem withdrawing my withdrawing any of my coins from criptorush besides the minimum withdraw limit. I pressed withdraw and although I didn't check my balances for about 10 minutes, all were processed within that time. I can only say if I had 230 btc, I would not have them in a market site, I would have them in my wallet (a good one) but even if that is the case, if your security is lax, well that might not be enough. I am not sure why God doesn't weed out the bad people already, I've been asking for some time now and unfortunately he doesn't say anything or do anything from what I have seen about it. The problem seems to be most people when introduced to any form of higher power just say whatever and do whatever they want anyways, not really caring at all. Unfortunately there is not a christian web and a pagan web. They just put everyone together and the thieves and scammers take advantage of anything they can. My inbox gets about 40+ messages not counting the safelist I subscribe to trying to find a decent opportunity which doesn't come often unless you are the scammer trying to find victims then I would say it happens often. All seem to say something along the lines of "make tons of money" etc but when you try them, they just take your money and returns are 0 unless you are the scammer. I really think the world needs separation such as those that choose to live by the bible and those that don't, that way at least the scammers can scam each other etc and not do in innocent victims. I am not talking about those fake christians who say one thing but do another, but real ones who have substance and values, not just say they do.
