available info: Zipzap amount $503.95, Zipzap acct #577710585.  bitinstant to mtgox account #M84316594X.
I used the wrong email! i used [email protected], but it should have been [email protected].
And to make things even worse, mtgox says the funds were rejected because i sent them to the "m and x" account number M84316594X, but they should have been sent to 316594 or cptblack.
I have already made a detailed post at bitinstant.com/support.
Im afraid my funds are lost, and i have little more information to give.  I dont even have the event or quote id because i used the wrong email.

Your funds are not lost.  You must have gotten caught up in that while mess when they had announced the new MX numbers but not yet fully moved to that new system.  You should see resolution shortly as long as you logged your issue thru bitinstant.com/contact

I'm assuming you included your zipzap acct. # in that ticket submission?  Smiley

Ok, I contacted ZipZap and they provided me with this information.  I have also submitted a 4th and hopefully final ticket to bitinstant.com/contact.  Now I believe I have done everything possible.

how can i recieve a sussful payment confirmation... on the 16th... at 9:50 pm.... and yet your telling me i placed my order on the 17th?

so what do you think i did?....place my order on the 17th?...  use a time machine to go back in time?... and pay for my order the 16th?

i cant pay for an order... and recieve a susccesful payment confirmation... if i havent place my order yet... i dont have magic powers of that kind.

First you create a quote.  Then you choose to deposit the money.  We have no control of when you choose to deposit.  That is YOUR choice.  zipzap receives your order and then send it to us.  At this point we can lock in a price if we are controlling your execution and then we send you order off to more companies who help us execute your order.  It appears there may of been an issue where your order wasn't executed until the 20th but I can give you the price from the 17th around 12:30 am as that is when we received your order.  This looks like a difference of about $25 USD per coin in execution price.  We can send you .2 BTC to give you the price on the 17th.  Will this resolve your issue?  Smiley

EDIT:  the time i got my quote.... and the time i made my deposit.... are about 90 minuts apart... so the price of bitcoins didnt change much in those 97 minuts, as the bitcoin charts show.

It used to be within the hour or less. Now they promise you within 24 hours but if you look at the past 300+ pages in this forum alone there are many unhappy customers lately over the past 21 or so days. I got lucky my issue was on day 1 and i found my way here quickly and i got resolution (4+ days). There are many going on 1-3 weeks with no resolution. I would question my sanity if i used their services again.

The past 24 hours we've been handling the vast majority of orders within 2 hours due to some recent improvements.

and what of my order?

its been way over 2 hours... its been about 4 days now... and when i did recieve BTC's... it was at a price far higher then when i orginaly paid for it... resulting in much less btc... im still missing almost half my order,  i got about .75... i should have goten about 1.4

i was charged fees...

nothing was given to compensate for my losses...

i dont know what is going on with bitinstant right now... in the past, i couldent get home from walmart fast enough and my bitcoins used to be there already... now it seems like i have to climb a huge hill to complete a transaction that used to be quick and easy.

Where are you seeing that BTC was 68 USD at the time of your order?

many places...

i checked a few websites right before i placed my order... then rushed to go place my order.

mt gox... bitstamp... and a third party website...

i also just checked http://bitcoincharts.com/..... that seems to be were you dirrect others to check the prices.. i just checked right now and it also shows around 68 dollars at the time i placed my order and recieved confrimation from zipzap.


all the websites showed slightly differrent prices and averages... but it was about 68 USD per bitcoin at the time... and checking  http://bitcoincharts.com also shows that.

i was mistakenly given my bitcoins at a price rate of about 120 USD per BTC (give or take a bit).... when it should of been more like 68 USD per BTC (give or take a bit)

I'm seeing BTC around 90 when you placed your order.  When was it that you believe you placed your order?

90 USD???... it cant be that high... it never reached that high of a price on the 16th of april... im looking at the chart right now.


are you sure you have the correct date?... i placed my order around 8pm eastern standerd time.. on tuesday april 16th.. i paid at about 9:30 pm EST at walmart.

it cant have been 90 USD.....   from what i see, bitcoin charts does not show a single point in time that the price was 90 UDS on the 16th. (thats the web site you use , right?)

Your order goes from Moneygram to zipzap.  Your zipzap order shows 4/17/2013 at 12:36 am.  We cannot control the speed of zipzap nor Moneygram.  Also, your time of deposit is more relevant then just creating a quote for a new transaction.  Hopefully that makes sense.  Thanks.  Smiley

Please help me.  I just deposited all my money to wal-mart doing a moneygram to my bitinstant email and I sent it to the wrong email...  The email I meant to send it to was just made today, and instead of it having .com (domain) at the end like most emails, it has .fr  (france) and I wasn't aware of that.  So I sent it to a non-existant .com email instead of my .fr email. 

I sent a message via the contact us tab on the bitinstant website, but I am worried of how long a response will take, and I really need to get this solved TODAY.  Please and a future thanks

I appreciated the quick response yesterday, but nothing is happening with my order.  The only email I recieved from you guys is the email confirming my issue.  All that needs to be done is to send my bitcoins to the correct email, it shouldn't take this long.  My event ID is 2b5f7982-dce9-4e61-a664-60d18225c286 but I can't see my order ID on the page just my event and quote ID.

Yes I sent it directly 24 hours ago.  I just tried sending a new one but it wouldn't let me cause I sent it yesterday and it's the same order id.

Well I just tried sending another complaint or w/e but it wouldn't let me because I sent one Two days ago..

Okay so yes they just responded to my message but they didn't see the problem.  They still sent it to the wrong (.com) email.  it is supposed to be sent to the right (.FR) email   and now I can't submit another problem

Any news? still haven't received the coins.  Remember the only thing I need done is to have the bitcoins sent to my correct email, not the non-existing one I accidentally sent them to.  It's been a 3-4 days

just out of curiosity... may i ask what kind of order you placed?... i dont work for bitinstantm im just a bit shocked it would take to so long to resolve and was curious to see what type of order u placed.

I just placed the order from BTC-E code to Bitcoin Address. Its pretty simple to resolve, but Bitinstant is taking forever!!


EDIT: You can see that second order says "BTC-E coupon deposited at BitInstant account" at the end of event log.

Both of these orders executed and were sent to coinapult, please email [email protected] and if you don't get a response today then PM me here and i'll grab hold of him for you.

I used the wrong email! i used [email protected], but it should have been [email protected].
And to make things even worse, mtgox says the funds were rejected because i sent them to the "m and x" account number M84316594X, but they should have been sent to 316594 or cptblack.
I have already made a detailed post at bitinstant.com/support.
Im afraid my funds are lost, and i have little more information to give.  I dont even have the event or quote id because i used the wrong email.

Your funds are not lost.  You must have gotten caught up in that while mess when they had announced the new MX numbers but not yet fully moved to that new system.  You should see resolution shortly as long as you logged your issue thru bitinstant.com/contact

It used to be within the hour or less. Now they promise you within 24 hours but if you look at the past 300+ pages in this forum alone there are many unhappy customers lately over the past 21 or so days. I got lucky my issue was on day 1 and i found my way here quickly and i got resolution (4+ days). There are many going on 1-3 weeks with no resolution. I would question my sanity if i used their services again.

The past 24 hours we've been handling the vast majority of orders within 2 hours due to some recent improvements.

and what of my order?

its been way over 2 hours... its been about 4 days now... and when i did recieve BTC's... it was at a price far higher then when i orginaly paid for it... resulting in much less btc... im still missing almost half my order,  i got about .75... i should have goten about 1.4

i was charged fees...

nothing was given to compensate for my losses...

i dont know what is going on with bitinstant right now... in the past, i couldent get home from walmart fast enough and my bitcoins used to be there already... now it seems like i have to climb a huge hill to complete a transaction that used to be quick and easy.

Where are you seeing that BTC was 68 USD at the time of your order?

many places...

i checked a few websites right before i placed my order... then rushed to go place my order.

mt gox... bitstamp... and a third party website...

i also just checked http://bitcoincharts.com/..... that seems to be were you dirrect others to check the prices.. i just checked right now and it also shows around 68 dollars at the time i placed my order and recieved confrimation from zipzap.


all the websites showed slightly differrent prices and averages... but it was about 68 USD per bitcoin at the time... and checking  http://bitcoincharts.com also shows that.

i was mistakenly given my bitcoins at a price rate of about 120 USD per BTC (give or take a bit).... when it should of been more like 68 USD per BTC (give or take a bit)

I'm seeing BTC around 90 when you placed your order.  When was it that you believe you placed your order?

90 USD???... it cant be that high... it never reached that high of a price on the 16th of april... im looking at the chart right now.


are you sure you have the correct date?... i placed my order around 8pm eastern standerd time.. on tuesday april 16th.. i paid at about 9:30 pm EST at walmart.

it cant have been 90 USD.....   from what i see, bitcoin charts does not show a single point in time that the price was 90 UDS on the 16th. (thats the web site you use , right?)

Please help me.  I just deposited all my money to wal-mart doing a moneygram to my bitinstant email and I sent it to the wrong email...  The email I meant to send it to was just made today, and instead of it having .com (domain) at the end like most emails, it has .fr  (france) and I wasn't aware of that.  So I sent it to a non-existant .com email instead of my .fr email.

Yes I sent it directly 24 hours ago.  I just tried sending a new one but it wouldn't let me cause I sent it yesterday and it's the same order id.

Well I just tried sending another complaint or w/e but it wouldn't let me because I sent one Two days ago..

Okay so yes they just responded to my message but they didn't see the problem.  They still sent it to the wrong (.com) email.  it is supposed to be sent to the right (.FR) email   and now I can't submit another problem

Any news? still haven't received the coins.  Remember the only thing I need done is to have the bitcoins sent to my correct email, not the non-existing one I accidentally sent them to.  It's been a 3-4 days
