And just to be fair since this thread was locked in preference for an AMT moderated thread, I will finish with the following...

For what it's worth users are free to create their own unmoderated thread to discuss things as they see fit. They should also be very wary of a manufacturer that needs to have a self moderated thread and delete a lot of posts. There are forum notification/watch options that will email you of every single reply even if it is deleted later if you wish to keep track of what is being removed, as well as the unofficial site that tries to record all messages before they're deleted at https://bitcointa.lk/

We'll be starting a new thread now, to focus on supporting our current clients and the hardware they've received and ordered.

Link coming soon.

A heads up for technical bullies and tech enthusiasts in this thread. We've created our own board as well, and no daisy chain is needed for this bad boy.

This board will ship in the 2.4's and 3.2's.

Okay, Josh. Go ahead and start that self-moderated thread, whereupon a scam thread WILL be immediately created and bumped every day AMT is in existence. Not a threat, but a promise.
This is actually a perfectly valid solution as far as I'm concerned since that's what the scam accusation forum section was created for.

A boring reminder of what the hardware section was meant for:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/a-point-of-order-conduct-in-this-subforum-139380

If that can't be maintained, as has been the case in this thread, then I have no choice but to recommend the opening poster start a self moderated thread.

You seem to be fair, mod, thus I'll chill/scale back, thinking more prior to posting. Would I be allowed to the use the word 'weasel'?  Grin

Later, bud.

What do you get out of calling him names? You just look completely unprofessional and that tarnishes your credibility in my mind.

Please forgive me! Is there anyway I can apologize to the weasel for tarnishing that critter's good name?

I understand what you're trying to do here, and I appreciate that. You have helped the community out a ton, so thank you for that.

That being said you have a tendency to be overly vulgar and often times disrespectful when there simply is no need to be. Your evidence/proof (if it really is just that) should be enough to sway the community in your favor - leave out all the extracurricular nonsense, as it doesn't exactly help your cause

Now that I am caught up with college, time to take another run at this head on and see if I can get my miners to work with my halfbroken backplane.

What were the suggested fix actions we heard so far on here guys? Enough bullshit, lets get this shit working.

To AMT opening poster: I suggest you post a NEW "official thread: AMT" as a self moderated version, put a link to it in this thread and then lock this thread closed.
JOSH WILL EVEN GO AS FAR AS TO STATE THAT I'M THE CAUSE OF ALL THIS.
Are you not?

I seriously don't have an issue with you, mod. In fact, there's only one mod I have an issue with and that's davout due to the 1,132 BTC that InstaWallet still has in their control. Oddly, I was praising davout/InstaWallet all the way up to the day of the hack. In fact, even 2 days afterward, for I wasn't aware that my bitcoins were gone till the 3rd of April, 2013.

As far as AMT is concern, to answer you question, probably more so than any other at this speaking, but a lot of what I've uncovered was address prior to me getting here, with Josh claiming at the time that THEY were the cause for the mess he's in.

In fact, AMT/Josh Zipkin tried to pay/recruit users to combat the so called trolls on his thread, thus allowing him to garner more sales and fuck more people.

NEW THREAD POLICY.

ANY FORUM/THREAD MEMBERS THAT HELP AMT  FIGHT AGAINST TROLLS AND NEGATIVE THREAD MEMBERS WILL GET 5% OFF ANY MINER WE SELL + 1 TO 2 WEEKS OFF THE EXPECTED SHIPPING TIME FRAME. STARTING NOW 12/09/2013.  THAT DISCOUNT IS ON TOP OF ANY DISCOUNTS OR OTHER PROMO'S WE'RE RUNNING NOW OR IN THE FUTURE AND CAN BE USED AT ANY POINT THE TROLL FIGHTER WOULD LIKE TO USE IT.

How do you help AMT fight trolls? When other members make negative remarks or post something that can be construed as something provocative or something generally undermining towards our credibility you should follow that post with a positive response and if the situation calls for it, an intelligent remark against the troll or negative individual Including reasons why they are possibly being negative, or provocative.

Also, random comments here that are supportive and generally nice for AMT to have on it's thread is also considered helping AMT fight trolls. A combo of the two is preferred. Don't fake it, but just support an up an coming mining manufacturer through positive remarks.

When claiming your discount please simply provide proof of your posts via a message to us directly here on this forum from the username that you used to post with. One post wont cut, we're looking for real supporters here and we'll reward those that are positive and cheerful individuals on this thread from this point forward.

There are a few members which already earned this Troll fighting discount and I'll make a list of them shortly.

I have uncovered more lies stemming from Camp AMT than any other, yet now I'm going to be the one shut down.

UTTER MOTHERFUCKIN' MADNESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

EXCELLENT IDEA! THAT WAY THAT ONE FUCKER THAT'S TRYING EVERYTHING IN HIS POWER TO MAKE SURE OTHERS DON'T GET SCAMMED BY AMT/JOSHUA ZIPKIN CAN HAVE ALL HIS POSTS DELETED.

JOSH WILL EVEN GO AS FAR AS TO STATE THAT I'M THE CAUSE OF ALL THIS.

DO IT, JOSH! I DARE YOU! I DOUBLE DARE YOU, YOU FUCKIN' WEASEL!

Or the screws *were * there and are now rolling around in the packaging or delivery truck. Don't suppose the screws have star-washers so they can't shake loose do  they?

Found these under the flap at the bottom of the box.

Hopefully the blades banging each other during shipping didn't damage them too much.

They need to be using something like these machine screws w/star-washers that are part of them http://www.mcmaster.com/#95345a047/=riqrv4  also available with sheet metal threads.

Not true. Even with Star Washers, tightened case screws DON'T just pop out in transit.

This was either intentionally done (damaged on purpose to blame Fedex) or these weren't tightened at all and fell out due to vibration in transit.

Hard to believe.

Or someone wants a refund so they'll scream RMA or make problems here. We'll figure out a way to combat this going forward, maybe pics before and after shipping per order associated with anyone on this thread.

Send me my miners for order 899 on Monday and I will make a complete unboxing video with a gopro (or two or three) and that will PROVE that you are sending legit miners that are packaged properly and work right out of the box. I will even record me walking outside to pick up the package from my porch, and an uncut video (albeit probably a long one) will be posted on youtube with the results. This way you can prove to the community that these miners are legit and working properly.

I will also provide data from the mining pool I connect it to - in real time - to again prove the miners are functioning properly out of the box.

If you think about it AMT, its a win-win. You get an honest review of your machines working (hopefully) and you fulfill an order that should have been shipped months ago.

I would give an honest review of the hardware also (without the company drama) based on it's merits, if I got a time to be able to go down there to pick up my miner. I had been expecting a tracking # on Friday only to have to wait until Saturday to be told I have to wait until Monday to wait again for a time when I could come down to get my miner. This after all the other waiting and missed deadlines.. (which are understandable to a point).

And despite that your detractors are still helping your customers. You keep saying you will post stuff (instructions and help which still is not on the OP at the time of this post) this is like the 3rd time you have said that by my count (I believe there may be more instances of that). Please just DO something instead of just saying stuff. This is really getting old.

We'll get it out tonight don't worry. And someone will call you on your number tomorrow regarding pickup and scheduling.

What about my order AMT??
