I will be translating this article into German at the beginning of next week.
Please, let me know when you finish and I will add the German link.

Hey there! I think there is a small misunderstanding here. When I suggested that topic I specified that the German translation should be not performed, as it's reserved by 1miau:

Please be aware that this topic was already translated in Romanian (by myself), while German translation is reserved by 1miau. Besides, Peanutswar told me 1-2 weeks ago that he will make this translation in Filipino but I don't know if he finished it yet.

Therefore, please do not make this German translation, dear Buchi-88. 1miau reserved this topic since March 23rd and I would not like to disappoint him. Eventually, if you really want to do the translation, I think that wisest idea is to kindly ask him for his permission about that. If he agrees, I have no problem with that. But, as things are in this very moment, German translation for this topic is already reserved.

@Porfirii

Your link is not correct, and I will be translating this article into German at the beginning of next week.

Thank you Buchi-88, you are totally right! I have just corrected it in the list of Translations IN PROGRESS.

Please, let me know when you finish and I will add the German link. In the next few days I will translate it into Spanish as well.

I will post one tomorrow.

Here is my proposal for AOBT users: Governs are coming for the traders!. This is an interesting topic to read (and to translate as well), as it describes how authorities become more and more harsh to bitcoiners. The topic content is a true story. It may sound scary, but it is the reality around us...
<...>

Thank you Gazeta! I have just added it to our list of Translations IN PROGRESS. I have to read it first, but I agree that trading is becoming more and more regulated in different countries, while in others there is a great legal uncertainty. Without a clear demarcation of a minimum exempt volume and/or repercussions of trading, many people choose to simply HODL.

Other than these, the topic can be translated in all the other languages of AOBT users. (A Nigerian translation also exists, being done by Agbe, but it does not interfere with AOBT translators as we don't have any Nigerian translator.)

You're a busy man Wink don't worry, take your time.

Thank you for understanding Smiley

As for the Bitcoin Pie Contest, if I'm not wrong it finishes today: those who haven't translated it yet can still do it, but at this point I think that it will be better to focus in the educational thread or wait for Gazeta's proposal.

Actually, the contest ends tomorrow at 23:59:59 forum time, so there is still a bit of time left for other translations, if anyone wants to do it Smiley

GazetaBitcoin prepared some topics that would be interesting to translate, and I think that it is a good time to start with the first one. Gazeta, have you selected the one we will start with?

I will post one tomorrow. Sorry, but I haven't time to prepare one today, as I had plenty of chores to do. But tomorrow you'll find here my proposal Smiley

In the meantime, other members can still work on the Educational mega-thread, or translate our ANN in their respective boards.

I appreciate your willingness to work together on the Arabic language, and I am excited to learn from your expertise in this area. I have been trained on a vast amount of Arabic text data, but I recognize that there is always more to learn and explore. If there are any specific topics or areas of interest that you would like to focus on, please let me know, and I will do my best to assist you. I believe that our collaboration will lead to mutual benefits and new discoveries in the Arabic language.

Welcome and thank you for your willingness to contribute to supporting our alliance AOBT.

I see that your origins are not Arab and that Arabic is not your mother tongue.
Do not hesitate to contact me and rest assured that I will not hesitate to assist you either.

As stated in the OP, "For backup translators of already covered languages, we will announce the vacancies soon."; but as you already did it, there is no need to reapply. When we announce the vacancies, if the current Indonesian translator Husna QA needs help, he will decide and we will announce here his decision Smiley

Thank you mindrust! and good point GazetaBitcoin! OP updated in the Spanish board.

On the other hand, I also finished the Educational thread (quite long, indeed) on Sunday. I'll be busy in the next few days, but I'll try to proofread it when I have more time. At least, the info is already available.

If I'm not wrong, Gazeta will propose a new topic next week. Keep up! Smiley

I have translated OP into Turkish.

Great job, mindrust!

I have a small note to those which already translated 🥧 1st edition - Bitcointalk Pie Baking Contest 🥧 topic: RickDeckard made some changes to his topic (added the new languages where the topic is available; added a sentence about voting; added a picture of the signature for voting phase; added a signature for voting phase): if you have time, please update your translations in order to properly reflect Rick's topic changes.

And a note to those which did not finish yet this translation: please try to finish it before the contest ends Smiley

Thank you, 1miau and dansus021, for your interest and support Smiley

For languages already covered, such as German or Indonesian, we will announce the vacancies in a few weeks, but your applications will be taken into account in any case. The idea is that each current member selects the corresponding backups and/or proofreaders for his language, if he can't manage the tasks in timely fashion.

I'd like to let everybody know that I finished the (whole) Romanian translation of Husna QA & Chikito's very long and useful topic. Hooray! Smiley

I have a note for all those which translated already part 6 of this topic: after an observation made by PrivacyG, Husna QA updated the chapter about CoinJoin, therefore those which already translated this part (if any) should apply also this recent update.

And for those which did not start yet this translation but they intend to and also for those which started the translation but did not finish it: please be aware that this topic is huge, having almost 7000 words. I suggest you to work on it in an organized manner, in order to not exhaust yourselves. The information presented is very complex, it's also very technical, thus it's easy to make mistakes, especially ones determined by fatigue. Therefore I recommend you to translate one part at a time, making sure that the translation is correct. I hope this helps Smiley

Nice work Gazeta! It is indeed a huge translation, but the topic deserves the effort. I'm still working on it but I will be done by Sunday.
