I appreciate your willingness to work together on the Arabic language, and I am excited to learn from your expertise in this area. I have been trained on a vast amount of Arabic text data, but I recognize that there is always more to learn and explore. If there are any specific topics or areas of interest that you would like to focus on, please let me know, and I will do my best to assist you. I believe that our collaboration will lead to mutual benefits and new discoveries in the Arabic language.

I have translated OP into Turkish.

Great job, mindrust!

I have a small note to those which already translated 🥧 1st edition - Bitcointalk Pie Baking Contest 🥧 topic: RickDeckard made some changes to his topic (added the new languages where the topic is available; added a sentence about voting; added a picture of the signature for voting phase; added a signature for voting phase): if you have time, please update your translations in order to properly reflect Rick's topic changes.

And a note to those which did not finish yet this translation: please try to finish it before the contest ends Smiley

Thank you, 1miau and dansus021, for your interest and support Smiley

For languages already covered, such as German or Indonesian, we will announce the vacancies in a few weeks, but your applications will be taken into account in any case. The idea is that each current member selects the corresponding backups and/or proofreaders for his language, if he can't manage the tasks in timely fashion.

I'd like to let everybody know that I finished the (whole) Romanian translation of Husna QA & Chikito's very long and useful topic. Hooray! Smiley

I have a note for all those which translated already part 6 of this topic: after an observation made by PrivacyG, Husna QA updated the chapter about CoinJoin, therefore those which already translated this part (if any) should apply also this recent update.

And for those which did not start yet this translation but they intend to and also for those which started the translation but did not finish it: please be aware that this topic is huge, having almost 7000 words. I suggest you to work on it in an organized manner, in order to not exhaust yourselves. The information presented is very complex, it's also very technical, thus it's easy to make mistakes, especially ones determined by fatigue. Therefore I recommend you to translate one part at a time, making sure that the translation is correct. I hope this helps Smiley

Nice work Gazeta! It is indeed a huge translation, but the topic deserves the effort. I'm still working on it but I will be done by Sunday.

Great alliance and I'm definitely supporting you.  Smiley

Maybe you can also add a section for "proofreading" (similar to "backup" translators but not in the header), which I'm interested to offer for my native language, German.  Smiley
I've not that much time for entire translations but I can offer to be listed as proofreader, where I can review your text, if my time is not too limited.
So, if you have a German translation for proofreading, you can PM me, I'll tell you if I have some time and if so, I'll proofread your text and add some changes after reviewing it.

Proofreading is always helpful because a translation can be tricky somewhere and an additional person reviewing it, will help to overcome such difficult parts. Translations aren't easy and professional translators (whose job it is to translate professionally) are very popular. I'm not a professional translator but I can offer to be listed as a proofreader.  Smiley
I would be very happy if there could be a separate section for proofreading, so no need to add me in the header, I'm just interested to offer my help here.  Smiley

AOBTers: friendly reminder to make a little effort to support this contest. I'm aware that we have just started with our project and some of you are busy these days; but, although the contest won't end until March 29, it will be closed for new submissions very soon. Let's do our best to encourage participation.
There's not much I can say other that, once again, I thank you all for your efforts! As of now I'm out of merits, but as soon as I have them I'll make sure I'll distribute across your impeccable translation threads. I'm closely watching this thread to update the contest OP as soon as possible.

Thank you for your interest! We will take your petitions into account, but remember that it is important to us, for new incorporations, that you are already active in your local boards and that you are willing to translate there for free from time to time. For a better assessment, candidates should fill up the template that appears at the end of the opening post and feel free to translate the proposed translations:

I lack words for the support that this event ended up having within our community, but I want to express my gratitude for having being chosen as the first project pro bono of this group. I'm just a casual member around here but knowing that the contest ended up having such a positive effect on the community is the best feeling that I could have asked for. To think that just 2 years ago it failed to gather feedback[1] but now it's alive and kicking. I wish the best for this initiative as I believe it will bring us closer as a community considering that it will close the bridge between the numerous communities that we have on the forum.

Thank you for your kind words RickDeckard. It is always a pleasure to help Smiley

Good initiative, btw only legendary rank doesn't mean all are a very good translators, you can also find good one's in lower ranks.

You are totally right irfan_pak10, that's the reason why we are thinking about accepting AHOYBRAUSE even if he is still a Full Member, or invited gagux123 first even when he is Hero and there were other good Legendary candidates. In fact, this thread qualified him as the perfect candidate, no matter the rank.

Also, I would like to recommend adding backup translators/ reviewers, who can review the translation once your main guy translate and you can pay small stakes from the main guy fees. This way is the best to ensure quality work. Im sure many of you already joned our telegram but if not I would recommend to join here, As I see many client hire our re-commended transaltors. Join this telegram: https://t.me/bptranslators

Thank you for the advice Smiley As stated in the OP, we will announce vacancies for backup translators and proofreaders soon, although our goal is not to recruit as many translators as possible. We are looking to select the most active members in the local boards who are, at the same time, experienced native translators, and who are also willing to propose and translate the best topics from the English board in order to share that knowledge among the non-English speakers.

For a more comprehensive vision of all the translators in the forum, people should visit your extensive list of Bitcointalk translators, which I'm glad to see that is being updated. Re-applied!

Native German but I have N1 level Japanese.
Wow, congratulations! Looking on your profile page it looks like you correctly live in Japan, is that correct?

I'm not so sure we'll find many Japanese users who speak English as well on this forum to be honest, especially because there is not a lot of action in Japanese board Grin

Thank you!
Yes I live in Japan. The Japanese board here is pretty much dead I think. Don't know why that is.
Japanese people have many strengths but speaking another language than Japanese is unfortunately not one of them.

Will check this thread from time to time for sure!

As a small suggestion and I personally think it's a good idea, we could if someone has time translate the contest 🥧 1st edition - Bitcointalk Pie Baking Contest 🥧 by RickDeckard in the local areas?

Thank you for this suggestion, Buchi-88! I translated the topic in Romanian: 🥧 Prima ediție – Concursul BitcoinTalk de Făcut Plăcinte 🥧.

Topic added to our new list of "Translations IN PROGRESS" Wink.

Feel free to add my translation to the queue Smiley

Additionally (since I have an avatar only campaign) I still took the signature as an advertisement.

Great proposal Buchi-88! I personally love this contest and the signature looks great. BTW, will you participate in it?

Topic added to our new list of "Translations IN PROGRESS" Wink.

Good stuff.

If you ever want to add Japanese then please let me know, maybe when I am at a higher level.
I see your group is all Hero and Legendary so I don't fit in just yet maybe.

Native German but I have N1 level Japanese.

Thank you!

Ideally, we are looking for native members who are already active in our respective local boards. Of course, rank is almost a must, but not necessarily a no-go.

But I have to say that your N1 level is quite impressive:

Quote
The JLPT N1 is the highest level of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test. This official exam proves that you have a high level of Japanese that allows you to understand this language in many circumstances. At N1, you are practically bilingual.

Although Peanutswar can write in Japanese too, I don't think he can do it as fluently as you yet. That said, please, feel free to translate the topics we propose here in the Japanese board, then post the links to your translations as a reply below, rank up a bit and we will assess your incorporation to the Alliance.
