So as FLY is not technology based , but economic and trust based, the updates dont come from the wallet but from myself and the community. I had another idea, and Im always welcome to feedback , good or bad. My idea was this: To use private buys to build a large buy wall. This will shield current investors from the price falling. Ive already put up 1 btc buy wall , and I will add to it as I can. I dont want to have the buy wall too high as this might attract dumpers. But I think its a good idea to leave this in place to protect the price, and add to it as new private buyers come in, and make it much larger and stronger. I think it will build more confidence having it always there.

Vegas

just go 50/50
50 percent buy upwards 50% secure the price

a empty/high sellorderbook price need a strong buyorderbook to become really valueable and a sign of coin power

For those of you having trouble with the changeover to v1.5 Im going to post the most current block chain as of today on the OP. Also be sure to update your addnodes in your flycoin.conf. Most current addnodes are on OP.

Update: Here is the blockchain dated today: www.bitcoinlasvegas.net/files/blockchain-10-15-2015.zip

Just close fly wallet (if open) and extract and overwrite your roaming/flycoin folder

relaunch FLY

I always report private buys,  so they will always match up with outbound transactions in my wallet. I did another private sell to TimC. Thank you Tim!!

I updated my wallet to the V1.5 64 bit and it fixed the stake time it dropped down from 267 - 389 days to  3 - 5 and then got down to 1 hr .But it didn't stake anything and went back out to 1-2 days. It was minting 2 or 3 times a day before

The block target changed from 2 minute blocks to 5 minute blocks so there are less stakes per day now.

Yeah that's the false negative pretty much any wallet gets, just ignore it this time but if you detect something on new wallets made by suspicious accounts, then you might worry about it. Smiley

Thank you for your quick response, but I like to feel free to buy or sell when I want.
I will be aware of it, if it Cryptsy or Bittrex.

Agreed. This coin is not for everyone, as it has strict rules. The rules are in place to keep prices very high, and to eliminate dumpers. This is a VERY long term investment that will last for years.  I respect your decision. Please note it will never be on a big exchange , ever.

Vegas

say never never Wink
we cant forbid exchanges to add us we cant forbid people to buy just at exchange prices

both will come together with success

i think that whale circle as the coin is designed now will work for early adopter phase
and im sure the people inside will follow the only sell POS earnings ruleset

but still there will be free markets and trading happening

and that is good so

The 64 bit build should have more accurate stake time predictions.
Yes that "works " took the stake time back to 3-4 days also the weight went up from 134 to 18213 .

 Thank's again guys

Why would the estimated stake in my wallet go from  3 - 5  days  to  267 - 389 days  it hasn't staked anything since i adjusted the block size in the wallet and updated wallet to
FlyCoin version:  v1 5.0.0 and the  nodes

Presstab posted this after wallet v1.5 and it sounds like the POS diff is still adjusting itself:

Quote
As you can see difficulty is stuck at the lower bound of 0.00390. It comes up sometimes, but it doesnt adjust down enough like it needs to. After the fork, the coin weight calculation changes to increase by 100 times. This means that everyone will have 100 times more weight, and that all at once a bunch of coins will be much more competitive staking. This will lead to a huge increase of difficulty. To add to this, the block target spacing will increase from 2 minutes to 5 minutes. I am guessing that this will put FLY's difficulty on the path to 100 or so. The fork *should* provide a very well working difficulty adjustment, a long term chain with 5 minute blocks that isn't going to eat up anyone's ram or cpu, and a secure network.

As always I will stand by with my QR code (quick response code) in case anything needs to be adjusted

I myself had extraordinary long estimate in stake times, so I closed my wallet and backed up the wallet.dat and deleted everything in roaming/flycoin except wa..et.dat and restarted , after about 30 min the POS corrected. Hope this helps. I did have to close and open the wallet a few times during the sync process. Also if you launch the wallet after you delete your roaming/flycoin, then rename your wallet.dat to wallet.dat.tmp and let it sync, and then delete the 88k new wallet.dat that was created and rename wallet.dat.tmp back to wallet.dat and relaunch flycoin wallet.

I may make it a requirement for private sales that the buyer claim their wallet and put their name in. I wanted to see what you guys thought. This way if anyone does decide to sell outside of their main wallet, we will know who it is. This is a safe way for everyone.
