Seems like a lot of people thought price would go up even more and then some people dumped and then they just panic sold everything. I guess we have a few happy new owners of Silkcoin atm.

I don't day trade (day traders mostly lose). My average buy-in was 150 sats. I'm just talking smack and enjoying the ride. I won't be selling for quite some time. I personally think Silk hasn't left the station yet. Patience, grasshopper, patience.

Don't worry about price, by implemention price will fix itself. No matter the drop.

The news means SILK's price is almost definitely going to be much higher than the prices it hit today in a few months. When people trade illogically, better to make money from it than to complain about it.

Okay, that took me quite some time take in. Basically, were talking about a system that takes energy from one coin and moves it to another, and the same way around. This will result in a (medium to long-term) constant price in darksilk and fluctuating price in silk. Basically you're securitizing the currency with an asset, backed/managed by the Silk Network. Is this correct?
Will the new Silk wallet be released prior to DarkSilk ICO?

Thanks for the update Orestes, that was the main thing that struck me, that the system will effect relative price parity between the SILK & DARK. I really appreciate you and the team making sure that the old Silkcoiners didn't get left behind. I think you're right, judging by the market reaction and some of the reactions in the thread, it seems that part hasn't quite hit home yet. I'm sure it will over time though and as more technical details surface.
The main point is this. For a currency to be succesful you need to have price stability. We will approach this better than any other coin. DarkSilk will have a good and stable price, while Silk can go up and down. But if you want to buy a loaf a bread today or next year or in 10 years the price should remain the same. Now what did a loaf of bread cost in BTC 3 years ago, and now?
