CryptoID's block explorer for the fake Silkcoin has been renamed to Silkcoin2 and also has had the market prices removed as it was using the Silkcoin pricing from Poloniex as requested by me.

CryptoID will host explorers for both Silk and DarkSilk upon their launch. We will also have official explorers up as well at silknetwork.org

So are the devs the holders of the 1,000,000+ SILK coin wallets? If yes, they are already on an exchange so why not use them as the asset for ICO launch? Get some BTC backing you so you can hire some people to push development.

We, the devs, don't hold any large number of Silkcoin, especially not millions. I think Gregory might hold some and possibly Amir but I certainly do not and Matthew doesn't either. We already have an ICO planned that is gonna be in stages and is very well thought out to be fair and increase distribution/circulation.

I wish you had a stake in Silkcoin like the rest of us. How come you never invested?

Because none of us have a disposable income.

If I remember the old story the 4 million Silkcoin wallet belongs to Mintpal, the dead exchange. Anyone remembers the same? It was somewhere in the old thread

Hmm, i don't remember mintpal but checking the old thread i found this

"My advice.. wait for the 9 million mintpal coins to be dumped through bittrex as they steadily have been...  Let them delist us.  Don't give the mintpal scammers any more money unless its tail end of delisting and price is dirt cheap.  End of story."

If i remember correctly the original dev had his account on mintpal too ?

Anyways this should be a reminder NEVER let your assets on a public website, even though poloniex seems very strong, don't store amounts that you cant afford to lose, its an exchange not a savings account.

Besides if you store your silk on a device you own (while having a couple backups ofcourse) is the best alternative, it's safer, it adds up to your account via stacking, it makes the network stronger.

Whatever the amount was well, it's gone now.

Nice! Good job so far, I will be watching this project.

I agree, devs have been hard at work on this project for years now. It will all be worth the wait momentarily.  Cool
The final product would be a bug free, solid wallet I bet.  Wink

So what I know now

There is a different Silkcoin chain:
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/silk/

TraK4Ubitl has mentioned the danger of a fork many times. Not a fork but a redirect, 'railroading' Wink

Some websites have opened up that are not affiliated to us:
http://silkcoin.us/
http://silkcoin.io/

  • These links were offline for a long, long time.

An avatar some might remember

BadAss is a long time Silkcoin member who also has access to the old Silkcoin trello board. An important member who did good things in 2014 etc. Interesting to watch this play out.

*applause*

Well if it is you, then please claim your name with proof so we are all certain who we are dealing with. That would be a good step.

Wow can't believe someone would create another Silkcoin...  Perhaps malicious intent to confuse people?

We need to convert to SLK asap...

We have an infinite swapping period. Long time members might not get the message in time or act in misguidance. Let all that read this thread be warned by this. No one should feel pressured and act in haste.

We have an infinite swapping period, if you are uncertain wait until this is played out.

In the end i'm certain everyone will opt for SLK, its future is just too solid.  Grin

Within two weeks I will publish what the direction will be for SLK. Ending speculation about the importance of SLK to the Silk Network and explain why its techological prowess has no bearing at ALL.

Race to the finish line hahaha stay tooooned

Buddy.  Youre too late.

Time is irrelevant. Whatever the Silkcoin copy is, it's a waste of time.

By the way, your attempt at causing us to launch any faster has failed. Give up and %^& off Cheesy

Go and swap your real Silkcoin for your wet excuse of a coin hahahahaha

yeh i know youll never launch.. in the meantime you have had all these innocent investors spending their.money on a dangerous chain waiting for it to break.. you dont have a coin buddy not even a wet excuse

https://github.com/SCDeveloper/Silk-Release-Candidate/

Fuck me, are you that fucking dumb? This has been in GitHub as a release candidate for some time and in my private repo since last year.

Jog on, you cock.

Hahaha jog on.. jog on
