In my country it is exactly the same, physical casinos were always popular. It was the pandemic that closed these casinos for half year. It is really hard to imagine how the life after the pandemic will look like. Who knows if all the gamblers will go back to their favourite casinos and quit online gambling again.

COVID-19 is the one who boost it up, because people have no choice but to stay at home to obey health protocols and to make sure they are safe from the virus, that is why they adapted online gambling, for example is Online Sabong here in our country where they would conduct s live cock fighting and people will put bet on whichever cock they like. We cannot blame anyone why vaccination is so slow since the demand is so high and manufacturers cannot produce more since many countries are really in need of this, but I believe we will see a mass vaccination once the 1st world countries will be done vaccinating their citizens since for now they are the one who's capable to do this since they have money and power.

For countries whose gambling status is illegal, I think online gambling is quite popular there to avoid restriction from government regulations. There are quite a number of development on online gambling sites now and it was very much supported during covid19.

People couldn't go out and they were locked up for that long and I think some of them got bored and tried to gamble for fun. So far, the development of crypto gambling site has also increased, but not many have decentralized without KYC. I like the idea of crypto gambling without requiring the customer to complete KYC upon withdrawal, but most of them do.

Given the pandemic situation that we are currently in, people are thinking and are using alternative ways to adapt from the sudden changes the crisis has caused. The majority are already aware that due to pandemic, safety protocols are already imposed. Limited operations from businesses and leisure activities were mandated by the government. Hence, people opted to do things online.

Online gambling became popular because people have no other choice, but to follow safety measures to secure their health. Leisure errands are prohibited, resulting to increase rate of number of people finding entertainment by gambling online. It was no surprise to find this because especially now that we are confined in the four corners of our home, boredom usually strikes.

I just suggest to still gamble moderately. Bet what you can afford to lose. It's not bad to indulge and enjoy what we want for our mental health's sake, but be a responsible adult and set limitation for yourself.
