People don't have hours now to spend on a physical real-life casino so online gambling is going to grow in coming years. Plus the games you play online are usually higher paying (lesser house edge) as compared to the real casinos where you might enjoy a lot more than an online casino but you will end up losing way more. I have even heard some casinos are rigged so those are other problems.

Personally speaking, why I prefer online gambling to offline is because I am exhausted after a tiring day of work and I hardly have the legs to travel to the casino plus I don't have to dress up and all. I can just open an online casino and play some relaxing slots games and then once tired I can keep the laptop aside and sleep. Online casinos don't just save time but they also save money like I said, we are going to win more at online casinos as compared to offline ones, eventually losing in both though.

Before the pandemic, gamblers were already playing bets online but the seriousness wasn't there because its not compulsory, online gambling is very popular now that almost 98% of my country is gambling online, it is very reliable and faster when performing that, and also the payout is extremely quick too.

That's the problem with urban areas but I think that if you have a hobby even before the pandemic, I am sure that you can do other things besides gambling. You can do gardening in an urban area if you have the needed things to do it just to be clear.

If you have practices before this pandemic surely you can easily adjust and not to focus with gambling.

You mentioned those activities that you can do and spend your time, it's good to kill some time if you already feel some boredom in your

boring day, You can also do some online education or find other things that beneficial since you have more time in front of your computers or gadgets you can add some skills by learning it online.

Also with more people on their homes more often because of the pandemic and the lockdown measures, the user base is guaranteed to go up since people need to find some way to be entertained. I think that when this pandemic is finally over, I am pretty sure that the user base is going to go down.

Almost all online platforms have benefited from the pandemic. Most people search for an escape or something to be fond of while waiting for the pandemic to end. Same case has happened to sports betting, but it was a huge challenge. In the height of the pandemic almost all sports decided to stop and most sports betting sites halted to a degree as well.

Thankfully some sports resumed at the end of 2020 and we also experienced some spike in sports betting during the pandemic. Some of the people I know even got interested and tried sports betting because they had nothing to do and felt bored because of the pandemic.

This trend will only continue as people get further used to WFH and just a more digital lifestyle in general following the pandemic. Like it or not, crypto-based casinos are here to stay and are going to generate a significant portion of the usage case for BTC.

All matters with preference because not all people would really get used to deal up with gambling activity in online essence but still much prefer on going to physical places which is understandable.
