Is it bad that i instantly recognized your sock puppet?

I seem to recall that you snuck a couple premines into coins you coded for people. I just can't seem to find Gascoin traded anywhere and that's strange, like the original coder is so untrustworthy that it killed the coin before it even started...

I seem to recall that you tried to force a premine into coins you coded for people. What is the difference between you two?

I have yet to create a coin but I am working on a coin which will start as fully POS, maybe you are referring to that? I am still working with all the same people on the same project but just had to change things around and do it differently because the developers I was working with threatened to sue me because I posted I was working with them.

In the Gascoin story, he took extra premine without asking and the guy getting the coin made posted a big thread about it and killed the project.

As for mudder.. I deleted the negative trust rating so as to see if/ how he would react. One of these days I'll get around putting it back up.
You'll burn in hell for being so mean.

Unless there's a group of psychopaths trolling around in packs here, I think you are right about them being paid by whales. That is the only logical reason why some would commit days on end to something like this.  Grin

Based on this thread alone, I wouldn't entirely rule out the psychopath hypothesis, but I expect some have to be getting paid. I'm curious if anyone has ever admitted to getting paid to spread FUD though?

Lesser trolls are probably just hoping to buy in cheaper, or don't want a coin to rise because they already sold... or spread FUD because of some form of crypto tribalism, where they think knocking another coin will somehow make theirs more valuable. But it would take a true nut to post FUD for days on end, non-stop.

I will do whatever I need to for this cause, for free.

These guys are the insiders at Cryptsy ! Didn't you hear me the first time ? Cheesy

We all know that Horus is/was the hobo, jdtmp4. Right ? How many more socks did they have posing as regulars, hyping the crowd and rigging the order books with their fake/ fractional reserve balances ?

Yeah, the Uro thread was epic. Anyone who hasn't read it should spend some time there and observe first-hand an orchestrated FUD campaign.
There was one guy who spent about 12 hours at one stretch posting the same thing repeatedly in almost every page; another who race-baited at every opportunity, while another focused on posting links (including about a crime commited by someone named Bryan who shared the same surname with the dev!).

I stayed out of Uro, as I assumed at first it was simply a joke. Or some sort of weird metaphor for the shitcoins being released, but instead of shit the dev chose urea. After seeing the price go crazy, I now of course wish I invested in a shit... umm.. ureacoin.

So I didn't even follow the thread at all. I assume orchestrated FUD campaigns like that are paid by whales, or something similar? Every coin has its trolls/fud spreaders, but some are more insane than others. Maza had a handful seemingly posting every 15 minutes, for days on end. So if they aren't being paid, they are just completely insane or have no lives outside of this forum, I guess? Figure they got to be paid by someone.

you have the intellect of a Salad i take it by your eloquent and thoughtful response.
why did it take you so long to reply though ? was it hard to cook up that retort ?

oh yeah you sure showed me.. claimed you did not understand me then accused me of being mad.
i can spell it out for you nice and slow if you have a hard time reading..
and i am not mad and it is not a good come back because being mad or not has no bearing on whether a fact is in fact a fact.
and besides i have heard it before it's in the top 10 retorts list here..

spare me and come up with some original material

and

please make an effort to stay on topic if you don't mind thanks.

I'm absolutely on-topic.  I have a very gemane comment about the irony of calling out shitcoins while advertising personal shitcoins in your signature.  You're not the only one in this thread who is doing it.  However, it seems to have touched a sore spot for you ("methinks the lady doth protest too much").

I do think that it's helpful to go ahead and spell things out "nice and slow" if that's your euphemism for typing something other than randomly generated vulgarity.  Even without the obscentity, it's still not clear what you're trying to say here.  I understand your points that:

1) "a fact is a fact"

Ok, this is a tautology.  No problem, I agree that a fact is a fact (how could I disagree?).  Do you want elaborate on what you assert to be of a factual nature?

2) "you are not mad"

Good.  Being "mad" either means "crazy" or "enraged" and neither is a healthy state of mind, IMHO.

3) You wish I replied faster and you have some epithets regarding my intellect.

Don't worry, I'm not going to let ad hominem attacks destroy my state-of-mind.  I can say that I, too, am not "mad".

Ok, with your points addressed, I'd be happy if you have anything useful to add to my discussion about "what makes a shitcoin a shitcoin" and the irony of everyone pointing to the other guy's coin and saying "that's shit", "mine is innovative".

I love this thread, so much entertainment

Oh man you should check out the unmoderated URO ANN thread. Mystery, murder, intrigue... It has it all.

Well mainly its childish behavior by people with poor english skills, punctuated by racism and threats of violence, but it was entertaining as fuck.

Basically, this kinda thing is what made the internet great.  Or at least one kinda great.  I guess there *are* a few other good things.

OrangeCoin.

Smiley

.5% is too small. Looking for heavily premined coins with useless devs that usually involve an IPO followed by lack of services.

Try reddcoin then. An astonishing 25% (roughly) of coins made in first 10 blocks, quietly distributed over 90 days.

EDIT: Link to dev2me article:

http://devtome.com/doku.php?id=a_massive_investigation_of_instamines_and_fastmines_for_the_top_alt_coins#reddcoin

EDIT AGAIN: The redd fucktards of course want to hide the fact that their coin was mined so in the first few blocks and edited the wiki. Original here, since the fucktards don't know about rollbacks obviously: http://devtome.com/doku.php?id=a_massive_investigation_of_instamines_and_fastmines_for_the_top_alt_coins&rev=1402859149
