In 90% you say. There are also ico failures by poor team development, insufficient investment, poor advertising, no real meaning, etc., leading to failure. But that does not mean they are all scams. The job of the investor is to find the really good ico. If 90% is fraud, ico does not exist to this hour

The founder of ETHEREUM said that over 90% of ICOs are scams. By participating in an ICO, you give your money to a project that probably will never happen. Every day a new ICO comes out ... but what surprises me is that many people invest their savings in these very high risk projects. I think it is much better to invest in real projects already listed on the stock exchange .... of which you know everything well ... For example, BANKERA looks like an ICO scam .....

ICO fraud certainly detrimental I too have experienced it. This made me disappointed but there is still an awful lot of ICO which is nice so we don't need to fear. In choosing the project did indeed need to carefully especially if we want to invest.
Looking at the website of a phishing project we are very easy to spot them, their website is very simple, almost incomplete information or have enough information is also very skilful, no one invested because They do not have a passionate community, so it's easy to spot them so do not rush to make a thorough analysis, which can take a week to analyze.

Increasingly there is a lot of new ICO-ICO emerging. But it's true most of the ICO is Scam. But yes although many are the scam, keep in mind also there are many good and promising ICO. It's just that we have to choose in great detail and keep an eye on the ICO we follow. Yes, the point is just a matter of everyone's luck.

More than 90% of ICO are scam is completely wrong statement but there are many ICO still, developing the what they mentioned in the roadmap. Everything will depend on choosing the best ICO, in order to choose the right ICO.

With so many ICOs out there, a few are going to be bad or scams but not that many. That's why researching the ICO project, its community and advisors, and most importantly its team  is very important. Usechain is one such great ICO currently.

There's only some ICO who are legit and good to invest ,because most of the ICO are scam and many people are scared to invest to the ICO project because they did not want to lose their capital so other people do they wait the token or altcoim to listed to the market and they buy to make sure that their moneg is safe.

Yes I also think like so, it is better for us to invest in projects or coins that are already listing in the exchanger

I don't think people understand the difference between Scam and Fail, most of the project in the space will fail not because they are scam project but because it is a natural designed, the rate at which start up project fail is like 9 out of every 10. Even the so hyped projects in the space now some of them will end up with zero value, remember Yahoo
I do not understand why the ICO failed because the project was unpopular, they were still trying to develop the project but for some reason the project failed and they failed you will fail. According to them. But fraudulent projects are not real, they just staged sites and communities to cheat people.

I think because what happens now is competition between ICO. can be assumed like this :
there are 10 boxes that have different ICO different names that have the same size, then there is 1 hole that is suitable for the box, but can all the boxes enter the hole at the same time ? I do not think so. that's the ICO competition. who qualify for the better, and who do not match expectations are destroyed

I totally agree with that statement. I don't see why projects need to raise funds through ICO's. There are so many ICO's popping up and how many of them really happen?? I invested in one and and the coins were released to investors, but the manner in which its done is very suspicious. But still people invest in ICO's like its going to change their lives.

I think it is really exaggerated to say that only 10% of it is legitimate ,
You are right that there are more scam ICO than a legitimate one but I don't really think that it is 9 out of 10 ICO are scam.

I think that ico will be successful only when the project is will be needed by society. so my choice fell on the project Tradelize, if you have not heard about it, then I advise you to get acquainted and you will understand why I think so.

It's not so bad to invest in ICOs'. You just need to normally analyze what is this ICO about.
It is proven by many that there are many scams Ico. Since there are many scams better to search first before you invest your money. That is true always analyze before putting up money in Ico.

I would even say that 99.9% and this is a scam. But this is the essence. If you want to earn you need to know the time to stop by and get out right.

maybe scam is the wrong phrase, its normal that not all projects could survive, because of different happenings, ( Team separation, no Investors, bad Marketing and much more )
and "nobody can reinvent the wheel" .. there are so much projects with the same goal... only the best survive.. there are always clear exceptions that improve something in such a way that they have an enormous increase in value but it is getting harder every day

The word scam is being thrown away too loosely these days. A Scam is something that was intended to steal your money and never deliver on anything, such as TBAR. If a project fails to deliver what it hoped to deliver because of things like regulations or the fact that the Ethereum we have today doesn't scale, or it was maybe just a bad idea that never needed a blockchain in the first place.. Then that is not a scam.

I say, 90% of ICOs will fail, but not 90% of them are scams. Most of them are trying to achieve their roadmaps. Most of what we have in crypto is also severely overpriced.

I think Vitalik is right. But it is very difficult to understand where these 10% of real, good projects.
