I'm also new one in trading and I'm trying to analize all coins and choose the right one. I'm reading theirs whitepaper and analizing the mission of that ICO and only then I decide to invest and/or buy theirs token and hold.
I think a lot of people panic because they invest too much money (compared to what they have), in fact they put additional pressure on themselves (we can never repeat it enough, we should only invest what we are prepared to lose). Unfortunately some people attracted by quick profit invest too much.
And usually when we panic we make the wrong decisions, it's not great.
I prefer to see the crypto as a game, I hope to win but if I lose it is not too serious

Do not need to sell or buy during a panic because you do not think sensibly and so you can make a mistake
In my own opinion I think when you panic buy a potential coin in period of bear because you do not know if it will dip more and you hold for long term, I think you will make profit because rather than panic selling because the price keeps falling. If you bought a coin when the price is low, I will suggest you hold it and sell when the price is high.

Just remember one rule, and it will bring profit to you. Sell when everyone buys, and buy when everyone sells. And don't be greedy, the market doesn't love such people.
do not panic if the price of bitcoin and altcoin start to fall because the market price will definitely recover. we have to be patient waiting for prices to rise, I also get the news that at the end of this year the prices of bitcoin and altcoin will rise again, we can sell bitcoin and altcoin when the market price rises.

I cannot agree with you, this year shows to everybody that it is not a good strategy at all. May altcoins get dumped up to 80-90% of its highest price.

Yes, we should not give in to panic or any other emotions; in the world, crypto-currencies need to be thought of with a cold head and follow yours strategy and plan. 
If you want to get profit in the trading world, then don't be greedy. That is the first rule, just take 5% - 10% is enough in my opinion, do it every day and if it is accumulated it will be a lot. Stay consistent with that method.

what I feel from previous experience is a sense of panic when buying and selling which results in losing money so it's better to buy and sell if you make a profit, of course, looking for profit by not being greedy
Maybe I do panic if the price if fall down to $1k but for the current price, I cool for it waiting for the time to gain profit.
everyone definitely wants to get a profit in trading no one wants to lose. because of their own fatigue and panic that makes them lose. I get the benefits of buying altcoins that are very promising in the future and very potential, I always buy at cheap prices and sell when the pump price

actually, if we can handle the emotion in trading, then we don't have to attract with the panic buy and panic sell by other traders and we can use the chance to make a buy order or sell order. we can avoid this if we can learn more about trading and we can analyze better than the other people so we can know that we don't have to get panic like them. but still, this will need time before we can master it and I am sure that we keep trying to hold the emotion, we can prevent to get a big loss.

Many of trade made at the by panic sells or panic buying result in loss. There are in some lucky trades results in profit may be. But logic and math in the crypto trade must be first preference.
Yes this time I made a thread about, Panic sells altcoin when the price goes down for fear the price keeps falling and panic when altcoin rises because want to profit from altcoin.

most people currently buy coins just to follow friends, crypto pump groups, and get info from other places to buy one of altcloin, and there are beginners who only know the famous coins that make them lose because they do not know which coins will go up. the price and where the coins will go down in price, then most of now the panic sells and panics.

Trading is not that simple as what we thought you need to consider alot of factors specially the timing when to sell or when to buy. This is why many have loss their investment due to the wrong timing which the market is considered as at threat.
I am confident that in the near future we will be able to see a huge level of use and implementation of crypto currency in all areas of activity. 
As we know, when altcoin or bitcoin prices are dipping many people will panic and start to sale off their coin so that they can cut loses. Ironically if you do not panic sale you hold your coin then you will not lose. Any thought?
Panic is not a friend of right thinking in our lives, not only on crypto. I think panic sell/buy is not going to help gain profit, you will be disappointed at the end. Not always of course, If you have skills, you can earn a lot on it. But its not for me
