If you are not in the need of urgent money than it's better to hold as whales are playing with the small investers to double their holdings. Whales have different thinking for example if whales have 10000 BTC they will not think like now I have more BTC I am reach now and I don't have to work now my life is settle blah blah like small investers thinks. Whales always think about I have 10000 BTC and I want to double it. If you buy any properties it takes years to get appreciation on the money you have invested same conditions applies here too. So it's better if you hold if the project in which have invested is strong and don't sale in panic condition. Remember panic selling is helping whales to achieve their target.

To sell coins when the price falls is a bad idea. If only once you bought at the bottom, and now you still made a profit. In this case, you can sell at the top and buy at the bottom

I think the fall in prices at the beginning of the year is common. a true trader is not easily discouraged even though prices are declining because they believe the price movement will return as expected. so always optimistic and positive thinking is a way to respond when there is a decrease in price. so don't to hasty , just do it and good luck
I think so too. Panic selling off our coins is never a good idea and it can even affect the prices of the coin. We all knew that patience would be a part of the investment process when we started and know that regardless of how far down the prices fall down, we should always be ready to hold through it all. Panic selling is never a good decision for you to take when it comes to selling your coins. 
Do not panic sell your coins, if you know that the prices are making you scared, just log out and don't look at the prices in order to avoid selling your coins at a loss. Panic selling is never a good idea and when people panic sell they just contribute to the prices falling down. I do not understand what's going on, all the altcoins are losing value even with working projects, why ?!
Potential coin price also drop a lot, so investor heard a lot of bad news about crypto and panic sell their cryptocurrency, I think it's a normal price correction and I confirm that they will regret later when bull market start, check last year June and you'll know that what I'm talking about
