Yes patience is a big factor in the crypto world. If you have the ability to wait in for a coin to have a big value we just have to wait. Also having so much patience gives you a huge rewards someday. The greater the risks the greater the reqard.

Though I would also recommend patience in moderation, since you can't do hodl forever, and coins usually exist to be traded, for example in your 50% profit you say you're still hodling but if I were you I would sell at least my initial investment to recoup some of the profit, From there you see if the market is good enough to continue investing or continue with the hodl, at some point you have to withdraw the money, I have known people still making hodl when the ETH reached $500, that price to me seemed excellent and sold a little, now it goes for $200 and I do not regret my decision.

Good one there, I have also been saying this to many of my friends in crypto that getting in to good coin and relax is a good way to invest in crypto and have nothing to worry about when the dip because it will definitely give you profit in the long run and I even advice to buy more when dip to curb the lost in the first one when it moon.
