Many community members have been claiming lately that altcoins are going to die or at least that 90% of altcoins are doomed. I tend to agree with them that there are many coins and tokens that are pointless and won't survive. Another cathegory are alts with solid foundations but won't manage to fight with their competitors as naturally there are numerous projects with same visions. But if you trust the project you invested in, there is no reason to change your mind just because someone says many altcoins won't succeed. Do your research and trust only your own judgement, because many ALTCOINS ARE HERE TO STAY!
Actually, I agree with these numbers. Just open coinmarketcap and choose some projects from beyond top-50. The overwhelming majority of them aren't used in the real world and some don't even have a finished product.

They are wrong. Altcoins are here to fill whats lacking in bitcoin. It has all the upgraded versions of securing users and they are meant to last along with bitcoin.
Yes, the alternatives coins will be survive and it will growing up for coming future because the alternatives coins will gives something new innovations, new functions depending on the business related with the blockchain in cryptocurrencies space, however the alternatives coins is needed as competitor of bitcoin its self to make better in cryptocurrencies.

Bitcoin huge holders manipulate the market to make altcoins' price drop. Many of these projects can't survive such fluctuations and are going to leave the market.
How many of the coins that were at coinmarketcap's top in 2013 are now still alive?
The same fate awaits most of the current market leaders. So whether you hold your altcoins or get rid of them, most of them are still going to die.

I think altcoins that will survive are altcoins whose use is still needed. so to stay alive, an altcoin must perfectly apply the platform. if it has the same platform base, the project must have advantages over its competitors

That would only happen if bitcoin eventually dies. As you can see that ethereum is already losing so much value and trust, so if eth falls, alts will definitely tag along and begin falling. It is a sad state of affairs to see ethereum fall down like that.

Yes, altcoins will die for sure.. 100%
BUT it will happen after bitcoins death, after monetary system has failed, and probably after extinction of human kind Smiley unless monkeys have learned to generate electricity and found a working CPU

No worries, it will happen for sure. 100%

I don't know the ratio but there are altcoins that are still profitable, and history have proven that look at the top ten coins in the market, but when they held their ICO or early days, they've struggled but they prove detractors that they are here to stay, the latest one I'm holding right now is Credits.

in my opinion, of course altcoins will survive, at least top 100 coins, because there are already many projects behind the altcoin already running or producing products, so I think altcoins will survive

Obviously yes 90% or more altcoins will be doomed, will stay only useful altcoins wich you can pay somewhere and not just only speculate them. I'll be glad if I wrong but unfotunatly I'm not, look at the market now.

Vast majority of alts won't survive, it is true, but what about other 10%?
I believe rest of them will create useful products and create giant companies like Apple, Google.

I also agree that there will be many altcoins that will be destroyed later. Some coins that have a good platform that will survive. In my opinion, some coins that still survive are coins like Eth, NEO, Ripple, Tether, Monero, EOS, Waves and Stellar. And other altcoins that have good cocnepts and products. They may be potential in the future. I'm sure the types of coins will still survive later.

This is a misconception when it comes to evaluating Altcoin. Altcoin is one of the great options for investors. You should know that Bitcoin has a pretty high price, so it's hard to grow fast in the short term, but Altcoin can do the opposite.

this is what will happen if ethereum platform are too easy to be used by new issued token even with similar vision or project to others. and this is what i have talked why are many altcoins wont survive even in market capital to other altcoin. for now we have too many altcoin in cryptocurrency with similar project or even developed only a few thing from other. it might caused to other altcoin's price dumped. we need regulation on every new token or new project. so it will be more effective and last for long term, and give more secure to every investors.

It is too early to come to these conclusions. The market does not show the stability but I do not see any bloodbath trend. I suppose altcoins have all the chances not only to survive but to gain much.
Those people who not believed to rising of crypto and believed that it cannot survive are the people who are not easily trust Altcoins or have experienced not good in crypto that's why they dont believe to it, that it can survive. But for me some Altcoin can survive especially to those have potential, beside there's an Altcoin is one of the best to all Altcoin and it is Ethereum, so I know they can survive just keep supporting to it.

You should know that people who know the benefits and future of Crystal is limited. You have right to choose which is the group you belong to.
The group in which people can earn money from that or where you miss the chance to earn.

What basis does one assume the altcoin doesn't exist. Like many of us have aforesaid that bitcoin can die. In fact, the electronic market continues to be alive and can grow within the future. Not forever the comment is true, it makes individuals psychological panic, don't with boldness invest.

I don't agree with you, maybe for the old outdated Altcoin I will agree. but not for new altcoins. when the Q2 wave will enter next year, it is likely that if it runs according to the hard white plan there are many altcoins that can develop even though we all know that not all altcoins will survive.
