Today my miner 5.5c lost both my Eth pools eu1 and us1 then started to mine etc but I hadn't set that pool up? so any ideas why?

There is a point at which the Phoenix miner does take a development fee. Is this what you are talking about?

From the 1st post in this thread:

"PhoenixMiner is fast (arguably the fastest) Ethash (ETH, ETC, Muiscoin, EXP, UBQ, etc.) miner that supports
both AMD and Nvidia cards (including in mixed mining rigs). It runs under Windows x64 and Linux x64
and has a developer fee of 0.65% (the lowest in the industry). This means that every 90
minutes the miner will mine for us, its developers, for 35 seconds."

Sovryn - Brings DeFi to Bitcoin
It's really weird how phoenix miner is performing this days, maybe it's my pc or something I don't know, I have two mobo with same configurations but one is getting better hashrate than the other, the phoenix miner number is 5.5 and that's through Nicehash mining, what could be wrong?

Heads Ups:

1. Do not download any app posted by anyone except the actual developer. It is so easy to see the developer’s name unless you are blind.

2. Do not pay attention to certain bloggers, youtubers and or other idiots who get secret codes from some developers to mine FREE for life in exchange for BS reviews.  Most tell you if you use their mining apps, you get higher hash rates or lower power usage. They all lie. Every hardware / tech has a limitation and we have all hit the red line already. There is no more room left to mine faster for different cards. For example, Team Red Miner is one of the most dishonest (and dumb) who charge a lot more than PhoenixMiner by copying codes from other talented mining developers. TRM has been LATE to party but want to get rich FAST! So, they ask youtubers to shill for them. Stick with PhoenixMiner forever.

3. Since last few months, ETH price has been going up and UP! One of the winners are Pool owners! Most mining pools are now serving twice the number of miners compare to last year! BUT, the problem for us miners is this -> the more miner, the more DIFFICULTIES to actually make $$. Look at the posts from new members since last few months. Every one who owns a computer want to mine and they are too lazy to even read less than a page instruction how to set things up. That’s their problem. But, remember every miner you help trouble shoot their rigs, there will be less $$ for you who have been mining for years and spent top $$ to set up your environment.

It’s BEST for your bank account not to help each other - unless you are rich already and don’t care mining more ETH. Again, every new successful miner = LESS ETH for the rest of us!

Sorry for red and bold font! Had to get your attention.

He bright fellows,

does any of you know if it is possible to run 2 DAGs / 2 threads on a single AMD RX 6000 series card? If seen videos about it, claiming it being possible but nothing i would trust. I switched to nvidia cards lately, because i was disappointed by the new AMD cards, but maybe i missed something and the are better than expected!? The vram should bee enough to generate 2 DAGs per gpu right? If you can, please share your experience and maybe miner config, if it's impossible does phoenixminer-team work on something like that or is there some hardware- or driver-limitation!?

WARNING: Don't download the phoenixminer offered the latest posts at the end of this threat, claiming 15% eth hashrate gains, it's a spammer trying to hock you up with a Virus! Only download the latest version from the first post of this threat!!!

I found two my old GPU's (AMD Radeon 4850 0.5GB and 6870 1GB), what kind of hashrate I would expect from these cards? And if I connect 2 GPU's to mobo, do I need the SLI bridge adapter for mining?

Hey,

Any idea how to set mining intensity (via -mi) for each card individually?

Is -amd command available for each hard individually or not? I have just added an Nvidia card to my system.

Do any of you use ethOS in combination with nvidia gtx 1070 series and PhonixMiner.
What kind of hashrate do you have?

If possible, also write down your settings. I'm thinking of installing ethos from windows.

Thank you to everyone who will give concrete answers

Does every epoch change requires -gt autotune?
Unless it was the crossing 4GB threshold I haven't. For my gpus I personally haven't found the autotune GT value to change much even when I've changed AMD drivers or PM versions or DAG epoch changes. But doing autotune is still important after a major change and depending on the gpu and how its set the best GT value does vary.

I'm having an issue where after mining with Phoenix Miner on Windows for a while, the internet becomes unavailable for many applications, including my Plex media server and even my browsers. The browser tells me ERR_CONNECTION_FAILED, and the only way to fix it as far as I can tell is restarting. Network diagnostics turn up no errors.

Internet is still available for Phoenix Miner, Geth, and Prysm though as well as a VM I have running, which really makes me scratch my head.

Anyone have any ideas as to what could be the issue here?

A little at a lost here. I have two identical rigs with each 6 - 1060/6gb/p106, Same windows updates same NVIDIA driver both startup phoenixminer in adminmode 1 is working with the straps option the other crashes as soon the straps are applied. Hope someone can point something out as i am at a loss :S

It simply won't work at all. You need at least 4 Gb VRAM to mine ETC and 6 Gb VRAM for ETH...

Not quite correct

for ETC you need 2.6GB VRAM currently

for ETH you need 4.1GB VRAM currently

Yes indeed.

But there not point to buy a 3Gb VRAM to mine ETC unless you already have the VGA and with a 4Gb VGA you can't mine ETH and there no 5 Gb VRAM VGA...

Theres the nVidia 1060 5GB https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/geforce-gtx-1060-5-gb.c3060#:~:text=The%20GeForce%20GTX%201060%205,GeForce%20GTX%201060%205%20GB.

You ever seen one i. the wild?  I knew of them but have never come across onr you could buy or even in the wild.
