Things I personally would love to see in upcoming releases of Phoenix miner.

1. Number of stales and rejected shares listed per GPU. I see them in the summary that goes by but having it broken down by GPU would help identify an overly aggressive overclock or card malfunction.

2. Set the color of the temperature ranges so we can easily see if our cards are going beyond a specific temp range. The purple color is often difficult to see for a blind bat like myself. Seeing Green, Yellow and Red based on temp would be extremely helpful.

3. In the summary show the total Dev Fee time and shares for Dev Team. (I think this would help people understand the actual time that the miner is working for the Dev Team)
4. STRAP option for polaris cards
5.keep mining if any card crashes just showing 0mhs for crashed card. (now whole rig crashes and difficult understand which card caused crash)

It's only going to cost you 1gigabyte of data to download and blockchain driver and the other to see which one performs better, download DDU as well it will come in handy when you plan to uninstall the driver for another, I'm using crimson edition and it works for me, might not for your, who knows?

I'm trying to tune the core and mem values using phoenixminer on ethos, as a couple of my cards started running a little hot with the default settings.
I've noticed you can set flags for phoenixminer in the local.conf, but it seems to ignore the values.

For example:

Code:
globalminer phoenixminer
phoenixminer=flags -cclock 1150

This doesn't appear to be working.
Does anyone have experience doing this with ethos? What are my options on ethos to change these settings?  I can always tweak the gpu bios directly, but I'd prefer not to.  Any help appreciated!

After updating RX 580 driver from version Adrenalin 2020 Edition 20.4.2 Recommended (WHQL) to version Adrenalin 2020 Edition 20.11.2 Recommended (WHQL) on my 4 rigs, they are now kind of unstable, crashing so often like 2 days uptime maximum

Using Windows 10
PhoenixMiner 5.5c
6 cards each rig

I'll rollback to the oldest driver and see if they get more stable.

Anyone else having the same issue???
I got the same result here using RX580s mining rig, the latest adrenaline drivers worsen the case, you have to revert back to the old version and stop auto update on settings yourself

Now I Try to use my Notebook with 1660Ti with Max-Q Design. Idont understand the Error https://www.directupload.net/file/d/6088/nnltqjbc_jpg.htm

Can Anyone Say whats wrong ?

I Have the same Error at my RTX2070 mobile Notebook.

You shouldn't use a laptop to mine the heat willl kill it.

Thanks for the Answer, but that wasn`t my Question.
Anybody has a Answer ?

On a couple of my workers the "prate" parameter has stopped working. The problem started after I subscribed to minerstat. I've since uninstalled minerstat, upgraded Phoenix versions a couple of time (now at 5.5c), deleted Phoenix and re-installed. I can't figure out why prate isn't showing me the electricity cost anymore. On the workers where prate does work the batch file looks the same.

I'm using a config file so I can run the miner as admin.

config.txt:

-pool ssl://asia1.ethermine.org:5555
-wal [Address].Julian
-proto 3
-prate 0.116
-astats 1
-straps 2

The screen and the log show the temperature information but the usual line right after it with the power cost is omitted.

Is it normal that Phoenixminer uses the GPU memory of one card instead of distributing? Anyway to make it use the GPU memory of the card that is running cooler?

https://imgur.com/a/koivPO5

If it's not a cosmetic bug, than it's not normal.

BTW if that worked the way it was shown, then theoretically it could be possible to combine 4Gb cards with 8Gb cards and mine on a full speed.

Okay, do you know what I'm doing wrong? anyway to tell Phoenixminer to use the GPU memory of the cooler card?

Einsteinium team is looking to utilize PhoenixMiner  for mining MIL coin which is about to be released.

Who should we contact about it?

We also sent direct message to the admins, please get in touch.

Thank you,

Is it normal that Phoenixminer uses the GPU memory of one card instead of distributing? Anyway to make it use the GPU memory of the card that is running cooler? Is it typical to have one card be hotter than the other - the hotter one is the top card but seems it's 10C higher than the lower card.

I'm having an issue with my two GPU's, one is an RX 590 and the other is an RX 580.  When I startup the miner I'm getting an error something to the effect of "stratum auto-tuning unresponsive for 51 sec. Fatal error, restarting". It restarts 4 times or so and then works fine. Any ideas?
If you are having trouble with your config it must be how you set things up, to have a better understanding about what you are doing wrong it's better to download Nicehash and benchmark the GPUs to see, if benchmarking is complete mining should start with phoenix miner which I believe it's the fastest and look out for any crashes
