Here's the full weigh in video as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JYw8kGeSZ_Q

I agree, there's no pushing whatsoever and no disrespect, actually we can see the Pulev when he removed his face mask was just laughing his ass off. I wouldn't say that it was intense, just probably two boxers wanted to bring more hype. In the first place, they shouldn't allow this two to get closer to each other.  Grin

Even Arum, Pulev's manager says that Pulev will knock out AJ, Lol, it's this a sign that they are going to duck AJ when we won tomorrow? (Fury is also under Bob management).

Joshua was not expecting Pulev to be so aggressive at the weight-in.

Call it bravado or showmanship or anything else but Pulev was absolutely taunting Joshua because he wanted to make him nervous.

Obviously the smart thinking is that Joshua will win but Pulev looks like he means business and thinks he will win the fight tomorrow !

Obviously he's not going to say that he thinks he might lose or that he's doubting himself  Grin. It's just mind-games that most fighters try do to either get in their opponents head or try sell the fight with drama, but if you actually listen to what they were saying in the close-up the media was blowing it out of proportion. They were actually being quite respectful and they were even fist-bumping (though rather aggressively I might ad): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0L1gu4ZcHeI

I'll be watching the fight tomorrow anyway especially since it's on at a reasonable time being held in the UK. I think AJ should win, but his loss to the chubby Mexican is making me cast doubt. Pulev has a similar record to AJ with only one loss so I wouldn't overlook a win from him.

I still do not think Joshua will have an easy fight. I think he will win but it will be a points decision and Joshua might face some tough moments in the fight too.

The match will not be easy for Joshua for sure. Yet Joshua reach is 208.3 cm, while Pule has a reach of 202 cm and is older.

IMO the best is Joshua to win with a unanimous decision. The odds jumped from 3.80 to 5.00 and I took it at 5.00 a few minutes ago.

Seems like Pulev here was underestimated with the move of betting odds, people might have thought that Joshua here will win via KO or TKO, not a unanimous decision, anyway, good luck!

The odds are pointing on a win by Anthony Joshua via knockout but i won't bite on that because 1.30 is not attractive at least for me. On the Joshua vs Ruiz 2 i won 5x by betting on Joshua to win by Decision so this time i will do the same. Betting odds of 4.50 is really attractive knowing that AJ is still not the same fighter before that lose to Ruiz so i think he will play this safe here and not force a KO.

I think I liked that odds, Anthony Joshua seems has transformed and want to be a Floyd Mayweather, so he will use his skills here and will not look for KO, instead a safe and easy win, so I'll go with that 4.50 but I got 4.85 now using a price boost in my bookie.

Joshua has a huge edge from all angle but he should knock Pulev out, Pulev is old he was knock out by Klitscko when they fought it should be easy for Joshua to knock Pulev out so he will have an impressive win going for the much awaited Fury encounter since Fury just come out from a very impressive knock out win against Wilder.
Exactly!
Statistically, Anthony Joshua has already an edge over Kubrat Pulev despite their age. I don't understand why Joshua still needs to fight Pulev as his mandatory opponent wherein it is obvious that Pulev is an underdog in this fight.

I'm confident that most of the incentives here will definitely go to Joshua, and even I had placed my bet on him for I am 99% sure of his win, unless an unexpected incident would occur prior to or during their match which could affect Joshua severely. In fact, I am just looking forward to Joshua having Tyson Fury as his opponent which could bring more excitement to all viewers and bettors.

Any fighter that would fight Joshua expect maybe Fury will be an underdog in the fight.
He is fighting him in preparation for a big fight and promoters are the one making the decision and I believe they are making the right decision.

If I am not mistaken, both parties or Fury and Joshua have already agreed to set a big fight, so this is a must done job for Joshua, hopefully he will make an impressive win here.

I like Pulev, but I want Anthony Joshua to win.

Then finaly we will be able to watch Anthony Joshua - Tyson Fury, where I'm sure that the Gypsy King will beat the s**t out of Joshua and all belts will be united.
Most boxing fans want to see Fury fight Joshua and it could happen providing Joshua defeats Pulev because that would be the next logical step. I am sure even if there was litigation and Fury lost the case, he would be ordered by a judge to either surrender his championship title or fight Wilder, either way Fury will not fight Wilder and would happily fight Joshua instead.

Nah, I believe that Joshua will win, but not with a KO.
As more realistic tactic I see running-around that Joshua used in the second Ruiz game. Pulev is old.

I will bet Joshua to win with a unanimous decision!
I think the same, Joshua will not be able to knock out Pulev but will on a unanimous points decision, that would set him up against Fury in an all British fight for the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.

This is a different fighter, he hasn't fought Pulev before but  AJ has learned in the past so he will not make the same mistakes again. Winning by KO or decision, that's all possible but a win here is a ticket to fight Fury and that fight he has no choice but to be aggressive.
Joshua seems focused, he probably will not be allowing Pulev to dominate in the way Ruiz did in the first fight and he will be going in to the fight with a view to go the distance. Like you said, a win for Joshua means a fight with Fury but let us not forget if Pulev then he would also be looking for the biggest pay day of his life with a shot at fury.

Depends on the Wilder arbitration decision which I haven't heard anything about in weeks. Either way I'm sure we won't see a fight between those two anytime soon as both parties will probably quibble over everything and drag it out trying to get the best deals from themselves, and there's still the issue of spectators not being allowed in fully so I'm sure the fight won't go ahead unless they can pack out a stadium as it will easily sell out the largest of venues in the UK. I think it's safe to say it will be the biggest British boxing fight ever so they're going to want to maximise revenues from it.

Shame Fury has said he won't be in attendance for the AJ fight. It would have been interesting to get them face to face for an interview from Fury about what's going on with the fight and potential Wilder rematch.

I still think Joshua will win this fight but it will not be straightforward.

He has learned mate, he will not be as aggressive as he was before because it will make him careless, the loss against Ruiz was already enough for him to adjust and use his advantage over a fighter, slowly but at least a sure win for him. A KO win or decision, it doesn't matter because he will fight Fury next and that's the biggest fight of his career.

I don't know if Joshua's confidence is already back but the way i saw it on the rematch against Ruiz, it's still not there. He was vey clever on using his jabs to keep Ruiz at bay which was his biggest advantage on that rematch but on this upcoming fight against Pulev, they got almost the same reach and the advantage of AJ is only his age so far  Smiley.

If AJ won't be aggressive here then i think there will be no KO as he will be playing safe and a bet for AJ by Decision @4.50 is imminent for me.

That's what we wanted to see, all British domestic fight, and two of the hottest heavyweight right now. But we all need to wait because all circumstance should be perfect (a) Joshua wins (b) Fury wait for the arbitration and favoring him against Wilder.

Wilder ain't stopping, he is giving Fury some problem because Fury choose not to fight him anymore.

But is it possible for Fury to fight Joshua even if the lawsuit Wilder filed has not be decided yet?

I guess nobody in this forum could tell you about the legal stuff, but we all want to see it Cheesy

I like Pulev, but I want Anthony Joshua to win.

Who wouldn't like that gentle giant? But we all know is Joshua is far superior in the list of heavyweight, not name Fury and Wilder

Joshua will win easily in this fight easily, Pulev can't stand against the young champion, we might even see a KO in this fight, so let us consider that.
If it will also go in scorecard, Joshua might get the vote of the judges since he'll bring bigger fight if he wins, and it's a mush win for him, so those corrupt judges will certainly favor him if they exist.

It's because Ruiz did knock him out in their first fight. So in the rematch he is more cautious and just cruising for a victory, just to be in the safe side. So good tactic by Joshua and not pushing to go for the knock out so I would say that his confidence his back.

Pulev is a different opponent though, so I think Joshua will go aggressive again and will look for a knockout win here. And I'm sure he is not taking this fight lightly and over look Pulev the way he over look Ruiz and not thinking of his potential fight with Wilder.

This is an interesting article from the bbc sports website. It shows Joshua in a different light, much more mature and more focused on trying to keep up the possibility of a fight with Fury but never underestimating his next opponent.

Joshua knows Pulev is a very dangerous fighter who might be 8 years older than Joshua but has a fantastic record of 29 fights and just one loss whereas Joshua has 24 fights and 23 wins.

Joshua has his solitary defeat by Ruiz. Pulev had his solitary defeat at the hands of the legendary Wladimir Klitschko when he was knocked out flat in the 5th round but he was knocked down twice in the first round and once in the third before finally being knocked out in the 5th.

It will be interesting to see if Joshua tries to out-box Pulev for long run an go for a points win just he successfully did against Ruiz in the rematch, or if he tries to go for an early win by trying to knock him out. Pulev does not have the speed of punches like Ruiz but he seems to be a more powerful hitter than Ruiz. This should be a great fight to watch because both will be desperate to win.
