Fury helping this fight by adding some fuel to the fire:

Fury To Joshua: I'm Coming For You, I Want To Smash Your Face In!

Quote
"Anthony Joshua, has it ever dawned on you I'm not interested in being a superstar, or famous. I'm a fighting man and only interested in smashing your face in, you keep the stardom, I'll stay real, you big dosser. I'm coming for you superstar, tick tock tick tock," Fury stated.

Lol, Joshua should thank the Gypsy King here, because we all know that he is still the A-side in heavyweight and he is also swarm by boxing media. So every time he opens his mouth and talk about Joshua, then it's a plus for him since he is the busier with a schedule fight with Pulev.

I still think Joshua will win this fight but it will not be straightforward.

He has learned mate, he will not be as aggressive as he was before because it will make him careless, the loss against Ruiz was already enough for him to adjust and use his advantage over a fighter, slowly but at least a sure win for him. A KO win or decision, it doesn't matter because he will fight Fury next and that's the biggest fight of his career.

Voted for Joshua here as well. Even the odds in sportsbooks are favouring Joshua. But you will go home as big winner if you bet on Pulev and if it will end up being him the winner. Betting on Joshua has very small profits to gain. Unless, you are betting big amount here.

Well, I believe that the fight was postponed twice the first match should be 2017, -- but Pulev had a shoulder injury that made replaced by Carlos Takam, and supposedly the fight was scheduled to last March again but due to the pandemic, it was postponed again and rescheduled this 12th of December. I can see that the bulk of bets in this fight would go with Joshua for he has proven himself in this career and Pulev on the other hand he had also shown good fight previously, and he will not become a mandatory challenger to Joshua if he doesn't deserve it, but if I will choose from these two I should still go for [Joshua].

A massive 82.5% of voters in this poll think Joshua but to be honest I would have the percentage would have been much higher but I would advise for all to take caution

We'll he's certainly the strong favourite but so he was for the Ruiz fight and look what happened there. I'll be watching the fight for sure. Luckily it's on Dazn so I don't have to pay the £25 for PPV.

In related news the WBC has seemingly given the go ahead for the Fury/Joshua fight: https://www.skysports.com/boxing/news/12183/12145775/tyson-fury-can-pursue-undisputed-world-title-clash-with-anthony-joshua-says-wbc-president-mauricio-sulaiman

But that would probably be invalidated if the appeal still goes through in favour of Wilder. No idea what's going on with the mediation though as it's been pretty quiet on that front.

There are still some factors that can derail the undisputed fight between Fury and Joshua. Oleksandr Usyk is still the mandatory for the WBO and he is refusing to step aside. I don't think you can legally force Fury to fight somebody he doesn't want to face but it will be interesting to see how this legal situation with Wilder turns out. Maybe he will have to pay him a lot of money for breach of contract. If the WBO says Joshua must face Usyk next, then I would expect Fury to concede to Wilder's demand and fight him again.

Yes Joshua is the overwhelming favourite to win the fight and rightly so. I think after what happened with Ruiz he will never ever underestimate his opponent but he knows he should win it. I think Pulev might hit the canvas once or twice but if Joshua wins it will be a points decision or stoppage in the later rounds as Pulev tires.

The mediation between Fury and Wilder is probably going on behind the scenes but as you said everything is so low key with it, the media are not picking up on anything related to it. People are talking more about Fury-Joshua than Fury-Wilder III.

Pulev will step up a gear or two and be very focused because this will be the biggest fight and the biggest pay day of his career and on top of that he knows that if he manages to win then his next fight will be even bigger and be even more financially lucrative than this one. Do not write off Pulev because if he catches Joshua off-guard then he will knock him out and win but if it goes to a points decision Joshua will definitely win.

It is not that surprising that Joshua is the most favorite in this bout especially that their ranking are kinda far, Joshua is #3 in world ranking in heavy weight division while Kubrat is sitting at #11.

But anything can happen in the ring, if Joshua will be in his full condition then I will surely to favor to him compare to Kubrat even if Kubrat has more experience compare to Joshua because Kubrat still needs a lot of effort in order to get some titles while Joshua is holding 4 titles so far.

What is interesting about the poll is that Pulev has managed to get 7 from 39 votes. Heavyweight boxing is a dangerous game, one hook or uppercut is all it takes to end the fight with a knockout. Joshua displayed great fighting technique to win his rematch against Ruiz but let us not forget Joshua got seriously battered when they first met when he got knocked down so many times before the referee stopped the fight. ANything can happen including a win for Pulev but the smart thinking is that Joshua should win this fight fairly comfortably.

So this match will commence on december 12, 2020. This is a interesting match to watch and as many favor Joshua still his opponent Pulev is no ordinary opponent.
No ordinary for others but it's ordinary for him. Joshua will beat the old and slow Pulev, he is not in his prime anymore while Joshua is at his.

As we all know that in a boxing match everything will be possible like lower odds to win can be beaten up. I had remember a match that was posted here that a favored boxer was losing in the fight and that had many also are lossing in their bet. I think it could happen because chances are still a chance to win in a match and no sure win could ever be bet in a boxing match.
Of course, anything is possible, upset happen just like AJ got upset by Ruiz, but that was a short period of time where Ruiz held the belt, Joshua redeem himself and I think he is more mature now.

AJ should win this match comfortably since he is better at everything, height, reach, age, technique, speed, etc. I just rewatched the Pulev vs Klitschko match and found that this boxer has a pretty weak right-hand defense. Nevertheless, I hope AJ won't make the same mistake when he fought Ruiz 1st time because Pulev can take many hits just like Ruiz. He would continue marching towards AJ.

I think Anthony Joshua has learned from that fight and never repeat the same mistake again or he will kiss the ring if he underestimate his opponent. Pulev is a veteran boxer, although he has no chance to win this fight the experience is still there. he can still give us something that would change the course of the fight at any round.
I don't think that he underestimate Ruiz back then, it was just Ruiz had so much power because of the added weight and he can carry it against Joshua. And we all know that Joshua doesn't have a good chin, Klitscho was able to crack him and put him down but he was able to recover, unlike in the Ruiz fight.

But obviously, Joshua is the overwhelming favorite basing on the odds and he should be as he has all the advantage in this fight.

Joshua v.s Pulev: Crowd of 1,000 in Play For Heavyweight Clash.

Quote
A crowd of 1,000 is set attend Anthony Joshua’s world heavyweight title defence against Kubrat Pulev on December 12.

The UK Government announced plans to allow spectators to return to sporting events on Monday when the present England lockdown ends on December 2.

While outdoor events will be allowed up to 4,000 spectators, indoor events will be allowed to admit 1,000 paying spectators.

So this is good news for boxing fans in UK as they are allowed to watch the match live because the government has allowed spectators, capped at 1000 paying boxing fans.

However, @1.09 odds for Joshua, not worth on ML.

Good news for anyone who's rich enough to be able to afford one of the one thousand tickets. They'll already be ridiculously expensive given the nature of the limited capacity of the fight, but the resale value will be insane which is probably where they'll make most of their money. Tickets that cost £1000 will probably go for ten times the amount. Well, that's if they even do allow spectators. The UK government just announced that even though lockdown will end on Dec 2nd very harsh restrictions are still going to be in place with three different tiers based on severity of cases so it's probably still going to be a lockdown in all but name. I bet they'll impose harsh restrictions on the North whilst letting the South go relatively free as well much like they did last time. Funny how thew virus effects people in the North far more severely whilst the politicians in London don't seem to get it as bad so they're free to live their lives and go about their business as they please.

“I would never, under any circumstances, allow myself to show disrespect to another human being on racial, ethnic or religious grounds. That’s what I’ve been teaching my little nephews all the time. Each of us is born on this earth with equal rights, and skin color is completely irrelevant.

“I can’t believe how my words about Anthony Joshua have been taken out of context. It never even occurred to me to discredit another sportsman because of the color of his skin! Amongst my friends there are people of different races and ethnicities. They are all great and worthy people, as well as my very good, long-standing friends whom I respect and love.”

He already corrected it many people just want to sell the fight and make it personal but if there are no videos circulating and he made a correction already, he do not want people to perceive him as a racial guy and, I don't want to sell the fight this way also, honestly the fight is not interesting but it should not be promoted this way to generate more interest.

Watch this video, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WE05akv_k08.. it's an old video but this tells the reputation of Pulev as a person.
He is so careless doing or saying what he thinks without thinking of the consequences.

Yeah I'm familiar with that video, and maybe that's his real personality and not the first boxer though of not thinking of their actions. So I'm just saying that it could be not as a racist remarks as others might have perceived it and he quickly apologize because he knows that it will have a negative impact on him.

@TravelMug - Broner recent racial slur on Asians when he fought Manny Pacquiao

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kvZQWJtcvbg

Yes, it doesn't really matter as Broner has been forgotten already.

Thanks for the video, I know Pacquiao replied Broner a quote from the bible, just don't know if it's here or in the post fight interview.

Let's just not make their comment a big deal, they are only trying to sell the fight, and usually who are saying this are the underdog in the fight as they want to anger the fans to be more interested in watching their idol beat the underdog.

That thing didn't jut happen on the Lopez vs Loma fight.
