Polo was good enough when I used them a month ago for a $600 withdrawal and they sent it instantly but I know they are facing issues a lot these days and it's probably due to blockchain congestion too while hitbtc has a long history of delaying withdrawals and deposits. They are delaying my every bitcoin withdrawal for 24 hours. Nobody replies when you send them a support ticket. The only sites that respond quickly to me are cryptopia and coinsecure. Else others just sit on support tickets and do nothing. Their bitcointalk account too comes here rarely to help users. They should increase their staff as they earn so much from our trades and listings.

How is this surprising? People have been complianing about poor customer support and waiting for withdrawals, over the past few months to 1 year. Probably they are going to respond to you, but maybe it will take a week or more. There are plenty of posts all over the forum about late withdrawals, didn't you see those?

What do you mean you are trying to get your NEM, I thought you were trying to withdraw crypto?

Are atomic cross chain swaps going to replace these exchanges?

How long until there are decentralized exchanges with low fees and high liquidity?

How much can a verified member withdraw from poloniex per day?

So far so good
Not all customers suffer from this kind of problems. Poloniex is maybe the one which will not scam anyone in the future because they are in us. You may be in loss but not scammed.

The fact that they are in the US is not a garantee at all. Have you heard about Cryptsy which was based in Florida? The owner of Cryptsy took off with all the money.

Poloniex, at one time, was the best exchange out there. I loved their site, and everything about it. They are in a state where they've completely shut their doors to any new currency (for the better and the worse) and are riding on the reputation and established platform they have, with 4-5 cryptos where they make half of there income from.

Both Polo and Bittrex won't last much longer, the FEDS are up their asses extorting traders information. I woulden't touch either those exchanges, solely because they are based in the U.S.

I completely agree with you here. For a long while I traded exclusively on Poloniex, and this is how they repay me: by refusing to release thousands of dollars worth of coins. I'm afraid to try Bittrex. Guess I'll just stick to my dayjob for now.

Fuck crypto.. it's all bullshit now.

Sadly, I'm inclined to agree with you buddy.

You can't use bitcoin as a currency anymore.

ICOs are now synonymous with the word "scam" (well, lets be honest, its always been this way).

The forum is filled with manipulative, cold-blooded sons of the rich and the irrationally wishful mentally challenged.

AND POLONIEX _STILL_ NEVER RESOLVED MY ISSUE OR SENT ME A RESPONSE EMAIL.

They are completely full of shit.

Fuck Busoni, that dumb son of a bitch. I hope he gets what's coming to him.

I traded NXT the first day Poloniex opened up. And yeah, i have to agree i don't trust Polo anymore, especially after they shut down their troll box, and tried becoming an exclusive* exchange for "higher" end coins, but heavily have favored STR and Ripple through the years.

As for all these scammy ICO's, yeah it has always been like this, but now instead of mining coins to represent every imaginable thing you can think of, you have an ICO for it. You have a flock of dumb cunts who throw their btc and eth into them, without a second thought what they actually bought. Meanwhile, the guys who are promoting this shit (like honestly 10 groups run 90% of all ICO's ever made), have thousands of accounts fluffing their threads and creating an illusion of buy-ins.

These forums have become a cesspool of malnourished sheep and wolves ready to eat their every BTC up.

The flood gates have been opened and it's all going to collapse on itself sooner than later

I wonder what is going on.
I also am hearing complaints about Bittrex that are similar.
It's getting to be the same story with us older accounts and not getting out our coins and then no support.

Hmm no support from Poloniex or Bittrex... I know you've been around for a while Sputty; whats your next best exchange?

C-Cex?

None really i quit long ago all this crap.. what is there to trade ? ICO coins which are all scammy ?
All the newer ones seemed just as sketchy or worse to me.
Packs of cash hungry vultures pushing shitcoinery fer teh ROI'z.

You have any idea how many spam crypto emails i get my ass pounded with now these days with the email i used at Cryptsy ?
It's insane !
I have prob about 30 every time i check my inbox.

It's a greedy sketchy scene where every exchange ends up hacked and exit scammed eventually.
And of course you need your picture ID.  Cheesy
Not happening..

BTCe was the only other one i used still around.

Fuck crypto.. it's all bullshit now.

As for the ip ban, there must be something going on in there.  Maybe your account was flagged by mistake or something?

Do you have a verified account with them?  Just curious.

Yes, verified, legitimized, stamped and approved. I've also used them numerous times from this country and this is the first time this has happened.

Like I said I've had my account with them for almost 4 years -- since the very beginning, when their font type was horribly unattractive and almost illegible. I've done thousands of dollars worth of business with them since and now they decide to throw the banhammer directly at my balls.

Life, Love and Laughter...
Now as a final hammer to the balls, this just happened:

Someone explain to me how they're not absolutely crooked and about to go down the drain, ala Vircurex, Mintpal and Cryptsy.

Whoa wait...  I can't believe that just happened.  I used them a month ago without any problems with deposits and withdrawals.  I understand that their system has been glitchy since 2016 but they always pulled through and fixed my issues.  Well yeah, after 100 support emails later.  But still.

After your warning I have withdraw the little BTC amount I still had there, but it went through with no problems. I remember in June there had been a similar alarm but then nothing bad happened. Sure is that their support sucks, in June I had my account frozen for one months and they would not answer.

This is the very reason i haven't used their exchange in about a year.

Once their user base started to grow, and it seemed that they couldn't keep up, they started to have all sorts of problems.

I knew it would just be a matter of time before something really bad would happen, and i didn't want to be part of it!

I also found it strange that they decided to remove their chat not long ago. They were obviously trying to hide something.  Roll Eyes

Maybe they are losing money over the traders? they should file a bankruptcy before they close the exchange.

yeah i think there is something wrong, the margin on poloniex not running normally. I ever lose 2 btc at there when the price $8000/btc. I'm broke because the cheat of polo, maybe their admin manipulated the price and pump or dump the price immediatley without looking the price at the other exchange. I hate them. Can u all who know the address of poloniex burn their office ?? I'm very hate POLONIEX. POLONIEX SCAM!!!!  Angry Angry Angry

Similar problems happen with any stock exchange, I think this is not a reason to raise panic.
Wait, I think support will answer you soon.

What is your definition of "soon"? I've been waiting for over a month for them to release my NEM back to my account.

I also want to say
- DON'T USE POLONIEX OR COUNT ON THEM TO OFFER _ANY_ BIT OF SUPPORT!

I have not used Poloniex but most of my crypto is in Bittrex and about half of that value is on HitBTC. No issues with either of them. But I don't do much trading, I just let my crypto sit there and collect dust.
Yeah I know it's risky as hell but I have quite a few different crypto and my knowledge with offline wallets is so limited that I'm afraid I will mess something up and lose them forever.
Instead I just keep them on Exchanges (no BTC), and use complicated passwords and two step authentication.

I did have an issue with Bittrex and their two-step verification (which was my fault), I made a ticket and they replied promptly within a few days.

I have also used Cryptopia a lot and never had an issue there. I use TradeSatoshi to sell my mining earnings and still have to encounter issues.

Coinbase however, that place sucks balls. Both their website, ID verification and Android app.

Poloniex used to be the most important exchange for me, but I only have a Legacy Account.
I have to withdraw my fund day by day, suffering the ridiculously high fee every time.
I don't think there will be an exit scam though.
