This issue had been brought up many times in the past. Surprised that it's still unresolved. I guess there must be a reason cmc still consider the original thread the official announcement. Otherwise it should have been a very simple change.

To think of it, coinmarketcap is very right to consider the old thread as the official ann thread. Anyone following the old thread will then be redirected here.

That's true. I hope they will. I just don't understand why my wallet keeps saying Unable To Update Balance. Even if those coins never arrived, shouldn't my wallet just update normally?

Well I only have the withdrawal history from Cryptopia as proof. All transfers are still in there including the transferID's which can be found on the blockexplorer. I hope they can figure out what's going on, I know a few more people who have the exact same issue as me.

the problem is that the transaction on itself doesnt say anything, you would need to encrypt it with a private view key, which you dont have from neither side. But I'm sure they will figure it out somewhen.

I'm also getting some bad customer support. I've had contact twice about my wallet not updating, and still not receiving the transfer I made from Cryptopia. I explained the whole situation with screenshots etc. That my coins were withdrawn, but simply didn't arrive in my wallet (wallet balance fails to update)

After days of waiting the reply I get is "Did you use a paymentID?"  to which I answered "No, from Cryptopia to ETN wallet a paymentID isn't necessary if i'm not mistaking?" (Also did it without one before and it went through fine)

Then they stop answering for a few days, and I get a reply "Sorry,  that's correct from Cryptopia to ETN wallet a paymentID is not necessary, if the pending last for days you can try to resend it"  ..How can I resend coins that disappeared? I made another very small transaction this morning of 25 ETN (again cost me 10ETN fee..)

Same story, the blockchain went fine, it shows as processed but it doesn't reach my account. The account still keeps saying that the balance can't be updated. So I explained that the coins WERE withdrawn from Cryptopia, therefore I cannot send them again.. they read the message (its FB messenger so you can see they read it) and continue to ignore me. I start to feel like my coins are just lost and they don't know what's going on.. very disappointing.

i'm sorry to hear that. Just an advice for the future, you transfered money from one company to another, you dont have any proove of anything (cryptopia could proof it by using the tx id and a viewkey). You should transfer you coins to a simplewallet or a paper wallet, then you have atleast full control over your keys and transactions. If you really want to use their shitty online wallet you can still send your coins there (over your new created wallet). Then atleast you have a proove that you actually sent the coins.

did you read what i wrote before? I think no. I can not reset the password because I can not get a mail. OK
all mails in the account arrive. no matter by whom. only this password answer does not come. also not in the spam folder.
And I think the people there at electroneum are not specialists either. it is certainly students who earn a little money

I just want to know if at electroneum someone can see if my confirmation email is sent to my yahoo account.
I can not know because I do not get an answer. but the specialists there at Electroneum would have to know.
but slowly I think that many accounts have been hacked  600 or more

It's good to see that the price of ETN is stable, where some people did dump the coin for a quick profit. The bountyhunters that got their coins couldn't bring it down. We are still not on a big exchange, who knows where we are heading pricewise!

There's usually plenty of profit to be made when you can manipulate the network's hashrate. I don't think anyone runs DDoS attacks just for fun, they're expensive (and illegal, I suppose). If you can bring down a few pools fast then the total network hashrate goes down, and as soon as the difficulty adjusts you can quickly point loads of your hashrate (both from your farms, and the rented miners' from nicehash/etc which still sells for the ~ same price it used to before the diff drop) to your private pool (or someone else's, the one you didn't DDoS'ed) and make lots of coins fast.

i m try from 2 days and always transaction failed... never and repeet never use anymore that shit of my electroneum wallet...
wallet cli  don't have remote node so for synch one day of chain it take 2 hours....

edit: finally i found a remote node use this for connect wallet to remote node..

rest the first problem:
