I think investors are now wiser as they've seen that the value is rising and support are showing stronger for sure they will keep holding this coin and find out what's the new height to reach and wait for a while to gain much bigger. Just keep monitoring patience is a virtue.

When they enable mining from cellphone it will be virtual mining, not the same mining. The speed will be based on your phone processor which they already have a database of all processor out in the market. How is that going to compare with regular type of mining exist today..we'll find out in January when they activate cellphone mining.

If it's not using any computing power to hash then technically I don't think it counts as mining, it seems to be more like to attract people on mobile devices to get interested in Electroneum but it would be better if it the coin actually had some sort of use that could spark demand.

You can contact them via their website, but I think they are overloaded with support messages so it may take a few days before you get a reply.

That kinda sux if I'm part of the unlucky ones, I've waited for them to email me about it but so far I haven't even got a single email from the team yet, yeah I've tried contacted them via there website and so far no reply yet, I think you're right about them being overloaded with support messages, I don't think I'll get a reply any time soon so is there any way aside from the website to contact the team? Do they have an official telegram or slack channel?. Will really appreciate it if you can share their official telegram or slack channel on here.

What I like about Electroneum is the fact that they actually have an office where people sit and work everyday. I like the transparency so far from Richard and the team.

You can create an offline paper wallet if you like but yes the only way to use ETC with the app is via registration

it is save as long as you dont want to have full privacy (they can track your ip and connect your transaction), you can read this: https://monero.stackexchange.com/questions/38/what-privacy-or-security-trade-offs-are-associated-with-not-running-your-own-ful/84#84

worst thing that could happen is that is just not working, they dont need to transfer your transaction for example.

it would still be nice if the etn team would put up some daemon node (and promote them) for faster syncing.

QT wallets are for coins that descended from Bitcoin. ETN descended from Bytecoin and the codebase is totally different. There are GUI wallets availalble for some of these coins including a couple of community developed ones for ETN that I'm sure you can find with Google. Personally I'm not a big fan and I prefer to use the CLI wallet.

Are you able to check the balance of the offline wallet? I'm having trouble syncing with the electroneumd.exe, its taking for ages to sync
