I need help with electroneum-cli !!! It is not receiving payments, balance 0.
I can see in the blockchain payments are there.
I'm using Windows Server 2008 R2 & electroneum v2.0.0.0
kepas told me it could be due to I created the wallet before full sync:
"You can make backup of wallet file, export private keys from it and then recreate this wallet from private keys"
So I deleted the data blockchain & downloaded again
Used command export_key_images xwallet
Removed wallet files
Created a new wallet
From here used import_key_images xwallet
Error: Failed to decrypt xwallet: Failed to authenticate criphertext
I don't know what I'm doing wrong

I've "mining" Electroneum via my phone for a while, but sometimes it takes very long before I get my coins to my wallet, have anybody else experieced this?
its normal dude , I experienced it sometime i need 3 days or more for recived ETN from my mining
hope dev can resolve that issue.

Why transactions can goes faster and sometimes slower?
- Difficulty in combination with the hash rate at that moment of the blockchain is the mean reason
When the diff is high and the mining speed is getting lower, it will result in slower blocks find. When blocks get find slower, transactions took longer (need at least 20 confirms from the blocks).
But normally ETN transactions goes really fast
To spread hashes and get a more stable network people must start mining at http://joenpool.tk
Thanks for the answers. I have also experienced very slow transaction times when transacting between 2 android wallets. I just though that it's weakness for this coin at the moment, if comparing with fastest coins exists today. If they would be faster, that would be really good, since I like many things about Electroneoum. How fast transactions you're experiencing?
With the summer upon us, I don't see any action coming any time soon. We'll probably be at bottom prices until September at least. Unless if the team is in mood to work and promote Electroneum even from the beaches!

I saw they progress - start is with serious devs team, later enthusiasm decreasing (lower income?), decreasing until one or two persons left and they keep the coin alive... just alive. Coin is trapped in 50-100 satoshi rage with some better times of 200-300 satoshis.
Concerning devs - it could be explained. They need get smth for they work, you can't work hard only on idea, also additional expenses - travel, premises, servers, etc. You must sell premined coins, when the coin price gets lower, you must sell more, price gets even lower, and so on. Until return is small and cover only necessary expenses.

If the market will turn around ETN price will increase as well. And i believe that this will happen sooner or later. Given that, the better decision that someone should do is to HODL his coins (this is not limited to ETN only). The market is going to sustain this seige and eventually return to its normal standards.

It's not that nobody cares. I was pouring 13 KH/s into this pool for almost 10 days and we had a few more serious miners. However, without a marketing budget we couldn't reach more people + those pesky NiceHash miners have been tossing difficulty around the chart
The project is clearly losing ground in the market. Everything started very well, now the price is not encouraging. I now understand so many ETN holders who are waiting for a good price.

No, it has to be 10 or more.

electroneumd v2.0.0.0 works perfect.
check your settings in miner, it can be:
- wrong etn address
- wrong / no payment id
- etc
in addition - may be your pool was not found any blocks while you mine on it, etc
I go to blockchain explorer with payments IDs, I enter my address & secret viewkey.
There I can see the payments that say true but my etn-cli says balance 0
electroneumd is synced to last block, everything appears to be OK.
there may be a problem in the wrong created wallet:
this can be if you created a wallet from the keys of the paper wallet before full synchronization of electroneumd.
in this case, you can re-create a wallet from private keys
Payments are in the chain but is like the -cli is unable to see them
I created the wallet before sync but I did it with electroneum-cli
I always did that with all the wallets I have from different coins & never had a problem
If this is the problem is there some way to fit it?

I`m not specialist in this area, but I think that if you create wallet before sync, then it`s data could not get into the blockchain

It is more than scary to see the current price compared to the peak. It worths 15 times less than in January. This menas over -93%.

Well the thing is, i spent 0 euro (only on rents at the begin days). Website, pool, static ip i started it all on my own (well, static ip is normall at my ISP) so didn't need to spend money on it.

I'm about to switch away from ETH akroma because the difficulty is soaring as "the cats out of the bag" now and everyone is jumping on it and profitability is dropping quickly. The problem of the investors is they want to get quick rich. But the vision of etn is mass adoption and this will not happen in one year... This is a process which will take several years
I agree with you that the project is still young enough and it takes time for development. The involvement of business in the project is the main indicator of growth.
