the distribution method used by UCASH right now should be considered for STONE,UCASH just launched their new currency you need to register at their website, verify your email and phone number and get 500 UCASH their referral program is what will be good for STONE so basically you let people work for it and spread the word.you will get thousands of new people to join  in not time. anyway if you want 500 UCASH here the link:
https://portal.u.cash/account/register&referrerid=44068
you will need to verify your account by verifying email and phone number
this new currency seems very legitimate indeed so get your 500 ASAP as this bounty will be ended by the 6-7 of January

no referral links please Roll Eyes
and why should we want people knowing our email address and telephone number if it is cryptocurrency we are talking about here? Tongue
Distribution using proof of individuality, that way email and phone verification to avoid same people doing multiple claims

Pretty interested in this (hopefully) soon to be coin. I am tempted to do a donation.
But still the red flags are not gone, the last reply by felix is pushing for more donations, something he didn't do before..
Will wait for something to be put on git

I usually just lurked, then when I tried to log in for the first time in years (must have been back in 2013) I guess my account was locked...so that's why I'm a newcomer despite being an..."old comer?" Anyway I remember feather coin and aurora coin and all those random alts lol. Funny how some survive and some don't.

Anyway, I was really impressed with raiblocks but my main concern was security. I'm glad this looks to be more privacy oriented than raiblocks however I'd strongly advocate for expanding the team somewhat. If I'm not mistaken you've received >50k+ in donations (and counting). Congratulations. This, if used properly, can speed development as well as increase your personal gain from this venture.

As far as distribution goes, airdrops are a horrible way to go. They manage to simultaneously raise 0 money for the actual project in question, and yet favor whales over people that actually grow the overall value of the coin by getting the word out. Whales aren't bad people or anything, but if you want marketshare you want more people with a vested interest in your coin, not 10 dudes with 50% of the coins.

A far better solution is to pre-sell coins. What about whales you say? Well, make a cap, and only sell to people that commented on this thread before a certain timeframe. Ex. max donation is 500 bucks (or half an ether or whatever), and you must have a bitcoin talk account associated with the donation or you get nothing.

Again, seriously consider expanding the team. The good news is you have a ton of interest because of the underlying tech + strong demand. The bad news is that you have a limited window of opportunity to capitalize on that hype.

Best of luck,
A long time lurker.

Long time lurker here, I don't really get how you're surprised at the amount of traction this thread is getting. Raiblocks has been kind of a big deal lately and it's fair to say that most of us weren't on that rocket, so it's natural that a fork of that frankly amazing tech, gains quite an audience.

Still, OP has to prove himself before we can for certain say that this is legit, that's for sure.

How come its a troll post though?

Its just a troll post, your suspicions based purely on your own thoughts, no actual evidence. Your saying all these people claiming to have donated, dude go to the main post and lookup the TX ID's associated with the donations, they are all valid, all real transactions, are you telling me this user created a large network 100s of fake bitcointalk accounts all created on different dates, then created a large network XRB, BTC & ETH aged accounts and sent a large amount of transactions with varying dates/times then cross referenced the transactions with the bitcointalk users to pretend people were donating?

tinfoil hat time.

LOL ok, I'm not going to start a debate with you. I don't give a fuk. I have nothing to lose or gain here. I'm just watching from the side.

LOL, I'll keep reading this thread for entertaining purposes.
Till now the dev hasn't provided any proof of his claims.
- no code
- no github repository
- self moderated topic
- asks for donations
- no steps towards using an escrow for the money raised
- sheer amount of new accounts claiming to have contributed with money

To me it resembles to much to the ZETH scam:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/zeth-scammer-info-time-for-some-due-diligence-and-policing-1878038

Any way I'll keep reading this thread to see where it goes. I feel its going to be fun.

Dude... its a PRE-ANN.. he has only just commenced work on the project, he is not pretending to have a fully complete project with thousands of lines of code ready. He has openly said do not donate until first release.

As for the new accounts? dude crypto just got a massive boost, every last thread is swarming with new accounts, dev should delete troll posts like yours, have some respect. Felix has not deleted a single post so far, even the troll posts, shows he has nothing to hide.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2018 ALL.

Wow, more newbies here than in the Beginners thread  Grin

This site doesn't make it tremendously easy to become one of the Anointed Class that can actually post! I tried to send the BTC amount it wanted to prove I wasn't a spammer and it was classed as "dust" by my client! (Exodus on macOS - *excellent* client).

But here I am!  Grin

Long-time lurker here but finally decided to sign up and chime in. I think with all the responses so far for even a pre-announcement is a huge testament to what type of traction this crypto will have. My only real concern is that it's a 1-man project and is he really up to the task. I hope Felix decides to make full use of the brainpower that is available to him if any potential developers within this community want to volunteer.  That being said, if he is able to do it alone, i'd be even more impressed.  I'm waiting for some more concrete project details like a whitepaper and maybe even a working wallet before i donate.  Who knows i might jump in even sooner, but take this as a sign that there is huge interest in this project and more details about it is always welcome!

Just saying "hi" as a newbie (to this forum, not to the crypto world), and putting in my +1 for "this sounds like a great idea". Looking forward to seeing where it goes.

If it can be less painful than trying to buy/transfer fragments of BTC to unlock a new account here for posting, that can only be a good thing. My god what a mess.
