A surprising result occurred in the Bournemouth vs Arsenal match. I didn't expect Bournemouth to beat Arsenal with a score of 2:0 and it all happened in the second half. Ordinary clubs sometimes make unexpected surprises when facing tough clubs and they usually take advantage of the opportunity to play at home like what happened to Bournemouth. I think they were lucky enough because their opponents lost 1 player and that made the hosts not waste the golden opportunity to make it to make it difficult for his opponent.

This week came with lots of surprises in the EPL. First off, Manchester United disappointed their critics by performaning very well against an inform Brentford team and came from the back to defeat them, then Arsenal lost to Bournemouth and had to struggle with one man down due to a red card and currently Manchester City are struggling to find the back of the net against Wolverhampton and have conceded a goal already in the first half. Well Arsenal's lose is understandable due to the red card booking on Martinelli but Manchester United's comeback win shocked everyone and their performance was great. While I was typing Manchester City has equalized Wolverhampton's goal and it's currently 1-1 they've finally figured how to open Wolverhampton's defence and I think more goals would come in from City.
Honestly about Manchester United's performance, he did not disappoint, in fact he performed well even though he was underestimated and finally won the match, but indeed his performance has not been fully said to have improved because he is sometimes still inconsistent. For Arsenal's match, honestly I can't understand it because even though one of their players got a red card, Arsenal should have played optimally to at least get 1 point and draw, but it turned out they conceded 2 goals and lost the point. I have doubts about Arsenal's title race with Man City and Liverpool, their performance did not show what it was like to be the EPL champion this season.
Yeah, I quite agree with all that you have said, about Manchester united, they won against Brentford, and it's expected, what ever is expected should not at the end of the day, come as a surprise, not at all.

Then speaking of Arsenal, it's rather unfortunate for them because to be honest, I am one of their fan, and I do not find or take their losing a player in the match to be a good or valid excuse to have allowed themselve concede 2 goals from a club they are clearly better and stronger than, like I did mentioned in my previous comment, I've watched a alot of matches where a team still won even one of their plapryer was given a red card.
I am also beginning to have doubt that Arsenal will be able to win the title this season, this guys just know how to disappoint their fans when it's least expected.
We should even be talking about Man Utd wining big teams  and  small teams like Brentford and people praise them about it , this shows how fucked the united team has become over the past season,  since Sir Alex Ferguson left the club, the team has been struggling to win trophies ,unlike normal Manchester united team that won so many trophies they set their eyes on.

I totally agree with your submission, the Arsenal game will have been a lot different if the RED CARD came in the second half of  the end of the first half, but the RED CARD came too early and made Arsenal to struggle all through the first and the second half making way for Bournemouth to squeeze out the Juice out of Arsenal.

However it is very difficult to close down the difference of one player on the field even though Arsenal is one of the big clubs but in the end it will be very difficult for them to close this down and what happened was as we saw where they lost points in this match.

Although in this case I will also not blame Saliba because he thought it was a danger signal because if you look at the potential if Evanilson was out of reach then the goal could have happened but indeed his decision was not right and he must make this a situation that is more as an evaluation material so that in the future he does not make the same mistake because this is not only detrimental to him of course but detrimental to the club.

Now Arsenal's focus should only be to correct their mistakes in the EPL because the opportunity is still very open because the match has only been running for 8 weeks but before that they now have to prepare themselves because Shakthar will come to visit the Emirates stadium in the Champions League continued.

After Klopp's departure I thought Liverpool would start falling. But Arne Slot continues to do an impressive work.As a Chelsea fan I got satisfied with our game. But we need to get better. I think we can get a Champions League ticket by finishing this season in top 4.When we think about Arsenal's condition I think the championship race is going to be between Manchester City - Liverpool this season.
Yeah that was what everyone thought, we all thought he would have a hard time adapting to the Premier League but it didn’t turn out that way and he is already at the top of the league after round 8. It was easy because Kloop already set up a good squad and all he had to do was feature them exactly as Kloop was doing to get the usual results. He is yet to experience the real test yet when players start to pick up injuries that is when we will know how good he really is.

In Liverpool vs Chelsea yesterday match, Liverpool team won the match by scoring 2 goals. Chelsea team scored 1 goal but if the performance of Chelsea team players was better, the match could have been drawn but Chelsea team could not do it.
Chelsea was the better side but their defense couldn’t match their performance and until they solve the defense issues that is when i think they can challenge for the title. They deserve to be appreciated despite being the away team they fought hard till the end.

I think we underrate how much disadvantage a team is in when they go a man down. The worst part is they got the red card when they were not leading and in the 30th minute. It would be a shame for Bournemouth to lose to Arsenal in their stadium when they had more players on the field for at least 60 minutes. The least that could have happened is a draw and that would have been possible if Arsenal were losing before going a man down.

I am also beginning to have doubt that Arsenal will be able to win the title this season, this guys just know how to disappoint their fans when it's least expected.

Actually, I blame Artete for this. The kind pf players he's been buying recently and good players, but not players to strengthen the team in the grand scheme. He has been focused on heavily built defensive players and he left positions like the attacking midfield and wing that are occupied by both Saka and Odegaard without any replacement.
Against Bounaermounth he started a team of 4 CBs in defense and 3 DMs. A team like that will definitely struggle. I also don't think Arsenal will win the league, in fact, they won't be as good as they were last season.

I was expecting a declined in performance in the Liverpool team because the new manager Arne Slot is new to Premier League and new to big teams, but the reverse is the case because Arne Slot has maintained the good performance of Liverpool just as Jurgen Klopp left the team.

Yesterday's wining against Chelsea is my main test for Arne Slot, and from yesterday, I am in support of him because he will definitely do something better because he looks like he knows how to manage his team well to win games, and I am thinking that he can win the League anytime soon even before Arteta because Arteta is making a lot of mistakes that is making his team to lose matches unnecessary which do always give Manchester City the high chance of winning because Pep is an experience manager that knows how to use any opportunity he have and it has helped him secure a lot of trophies.

from the results of this match, Liverpool increasingly recorded a greater number of wins than Chelsea in their H2H for the last 5 matches. with the following total H2H based on source taken here https://livescores.biz/h2h/chelsea-vs-liverpool-cf

Indeed, initially it was quite doubtful, but it seems that Liverpool's performance under Arne Slot also gave satisfactory results. so far, Liverpool has only experienced 1 defeat and that was also against Nottm Forest, where they actually played quite well and dominated, it's just that they made many errors and missed many chances at that time. And since then, Arne Slot has improved and proven that Liverpool can do much better performance even facing bigger top clubs.

For Chelsea, indeed, this club, this season, is developing much better than last season which was more often disappointing. It's just that because of yesterday's defeat, its position is in 6th place. But the worry is that they will be up against other top clubs in the next few matches. Marezca must be able to anticipate this with much more mature preparation. Hopefully they can do much better again and give positive winning results.

Manchester City fell behind in the Wolverhampton match, then scored two goals to pull the game together. They have difficulty scoring goals when Kevin De Bruyne is not there, the quality of passes in the midfield drops immediately, Halaand doesn't get good passes. Manchester City played an extraordinary defense in this match, I can say that the defenders were the ones who saved the game.

Arsenal should have done better in this match but they really underrated this team and in the end they had to face a very big defeat, one that would really deter them for the fight of the league title. Arsenal have really made a lot of people starting to lose hope in them for this fight of the title this season also. This is how they do when everyone begins to show support for them and see them going to be the winner of the league title.

Most times, it’s not that Manchester City does not deserve the premier league title, but for one team winning it every year makes the league to be boring. This uncertainty that falls in place when thinking of the team to win the premier league title is something that brings joy and excitement into the league race, and if it’s missing, the league becomes not competitive and everyone can tell from beginning who will win the league title.

Underestimate- nothing

Arsenal played badly since they missed Saka and Ødegaard. They looked so clueless, utterly bereft of any creativity since they missed Øde. Their decision to play three midfielders with similar profiles didn't help them much. I was also curious why they didn't play Nwaneri, who might be able to fix their problems in midfield.

I think missing Saliba due to the red card cannot be used as an excuse for their losses. This is because they were no already bad even before Saliba was sent off by the referee. And I'm concerned about how they are now a club with the most red cards.

Just curious what makes them very often get red cards. It's been happening since Arteta joined Arsenal in 2019.

This something that was expected since saka and odegaard are on injury the performance of arsenal have not been impressive at all and the kind of decision thay arteta is making is saka is not comfortable with it because if you look at saka this period is performance have dropped and their is no much such coming for him so their is no way that they do well if he. Does not consider bringing a support for saka. Because it's just as if arteta is killing the boys career.

The worst decision was when he played 3 midfielders arteta is an incredible coach so I don't even know why is trying to contradict this now and that is causing a lot of confusion because now you are playing a defensive game and now that Saliba has red card is going to be missing out next game and that is like the best shot we have when it comes to maintaining our defense.

And this is like the second time we are getting a red card we got one when we were playing against Manchester city, and all this is because of the defense game we are trying to play.

I came across this same update X I think, and was even going to talk about it here but it skipped my mind, good to see that you have it here...

It's really sad to see that Arsenal is one club with the most red cards since 2019, and this proves one thing, and that is that, every club in the premier league has their own issues, and it seems to me now that it is only when a club messes up, we get to actually know what their issue really is.

Arteta is not so a great coach after all, if not, I believe Arsenal would have won the premier league title in one of this seasons like last to two seasons they started getting close to winning it, I pray Arsenal do not end up returning back to the current rank of Chelsea and Manchester united, Arteta should really look at statistics like this and work on his team to get a better one, this is not good for the future Arsenal we hope to see.

Everyone expected Arsenal to win the match, but even after they received the red card, I was still confident in Arsenal to win the match because we all saw how they performed when they played against Manchester City and they received red card. The match wasn’t funny for them, but they were winning till the last minutes of the match before Manchester City equalized, so I was still expecting Arsenal to win after receiving the red card since Bournemouth is not really a strong team, which Arsenal are supposed to find difficult.

People have been saying the reason why Arsenal lost the match was because of the red card, but I don’t completely agree with that. The main reason why Arsenal lost the match was just because of the injury problem that Arsenal is facing. If Arteta played with his complete squad in the match, even with the red card, Bournemouth will find it difficult to win them in the match.

Yes ,you are right. Injury was a big reason of their lose in this match. Arsenal team took easy Bournemouth team in this match and that was also reason of their lose of this match. Bournemouth players successful attached for many times and they they became successful to do goal for 2 times and they pass the ball for many times and they got confidence to do goal and in the end they won the match. Christie is a brave player and he attacked in this match and he tried for several times to do goal in this match but he did goal for only one time but he completed his duty which was assigned to him and after that one more player did goal and we also give credit to the players which defended in this match.

Playing without Odegaard and Bukayo Saka has clearly affected Arsenal's performance but I think it only has an impact on their creativity, while their defensive line should be fine. What made Arsenal lose was that they had to play with 10 men from the early minutes, and the red card was enough to affect their composure, so when Bournemouth succeeded in breaking down the deadlock, this actually made Arsenal even more shaky, so that instead of equalizing, they conceded the second goal.

Well, I don't feel it's injury that caused them to lose, I underrated that some key plays where lacking but them Arsenal should be capable of beating them without relying on some players, that's how well Arteta has built the squad what I think weakened Arsenal and exposed them to a defeat is the red given to Saliba, it exposed one of the most important part of Arsenal's squad which is the defence, that's one of the strongest area if not the strongest and if you can beat Saliba or Gabriel easily them winning Arsenal won't be that difficult and that's what happened when one of them was taken off due to a red card (Saliba). But Arsenal really tried, they held strong until the 70th minute of the match before giving up and letting Bournemouth score, if it were the other way round i think Arsenal would score more than 3 goals if Bournemouth were one man down. However I think Arsenal are in a dip trouble cause they're playing Liverpool next, Liverpool is very inform there Arteta has a tough challenge ahead.

the red card they hard against city is a totally different case with this one when you consider that city was the better side to win that game assuming there was no card involved in the game. They did what was right and sat back refusing to launch any serious attack against man city which is the only reason why they stayed than long before city equalized. You don't expect them to sit back against a team they are better than. Even with a one man difference, they still felt they could still win that game which is the reason why they kept on attacking and when you attack with a one man down down you expose your defense and allow it to get porous and vaulnaurable for your opponent attack. It's not the best result they would have expected but it happens and it's what a lot of teams have suffered from this season. Red card has been very actively used this seasons which has had a serious effect on the overall result of most games.

Liverpool had the toughest test of the season against Chelsea and in a manner I least expect, Chelsea managed to gain dominance in terms of possession against Liverpool but the poor defensive decision cost them a penalty that resulted in the first goal and the next goal that led to a win. It's now becoming evident what marrsca said that he Chelsea team is improving but hasn't gotten to that stage where you're certain that they can contend for the league. The performance is everything a team and fans would expect regardless of the result and moving forward, it's going to be easier to build from this kind of result.

At the beginning of the game after the Red card was given, arsenal where still trying to force the attack and close up the gap the Red card had created, unfortunately this wasn't just working as Bournemouth use there 11 men advantage effectively.  It was totally different situation from the Manchester city game. Arsenal had played that Man City game to a point they had a different mentality of the fact that they are going to win this game, psychologically and mentally they had control of the Ball before the Red came in and forced them to retreat, which made Manchester to equalise during die minute.
