This week came with lots of surprises in the EPL. First off, Manchester United disappointed their critics by performaning very well against an inform Brentford team and came from the back to defeat them, then Arsenal lost to Bournemouth and had to struggle with one man down due to a red card and currently Manchester City are struggling to find the back of the net against Wolverhampton and have conceded a goal already in the first half. Well Arsenal's lose is understandable due to the red card booking on Martinelli but Manchester United's comeback win shocked everyone and their performance was great. While I was typing Manchester City has equalized Wolverhampton's goal and it's currently 1-1 they've finally figured how to open Wolverhampton's defence and I think more goals would come in from City.

Honestly about Manchester United's performance, he did not disappoint, in fact he performed well even though he was underestimated and finally won the match, but indeed his performance has not been fully said to have improved because he is sometimes still inconsistent. For Arsenal's match, honestly I can't understand it because even though one of their players got a red card, Arsenal should have played optimally to at least get 1 point and draw, but it turned out they conceded 2 goals and lost the point. I have doubts about Arsenal's title race with Man City and Liverpool, their performance did not show what it was like to be the EPL champion this season.

Bro on a sincere note here, I am also one of the greatest critique of Eric ten hang and I have also called for his head in the past due to how terrible they were in the field of play, but the hierarchy of Manchester united has refused to concurred to the pressure of the fan base, and they still believe that he can turn things around, which he is gradually doing, though some Manchester united fan would disagree with me because their hatred for Eric ten hang already would make them not to see any good thing he is doing, which is quite understandable, but I believe that logically, this is not the right time to sack him because the team are gradually finding their feat.

So in my own opinion I think since he wasn't sacked when the team was performing horribly in the past, their is no need sacking him now that they have started doing better than before, so I believe that they are actually improving, and hopefully, they will keeps on getting better and better.

Yes, Pep keeps on giving spirit to the squad to fight until the last minute. I expect the game result to draw, but Stone has take the advantage lob ball from corner kick to winning the match in injury time. I admit the Wolves' defense was quite tight during the match. They even build the counter-attack with cross ball and several times have chance to win the match, but they lost in skill, and their attacker was unable to reach any goal. The city are lucky, goal not disallowed by VAR because Benardo Silva do not touch a ball even offside position.

btw, I bit got the winning if Stone didn't creat a goal.

Their position remains in the top 3 but in the end they are a little away from Liverpool and Manchester City who managed to get 3 points in week 8 and that means they have to fight extra if they really want to overtake Liverpool and Manchester City in the standings.
But their chances are still very much there for now because the match still leaves at least 30 more weeks so as long as Arteta can correct mistakes and can minimize the worst situations and possibilities in a match like what happened when Saliba was shown a red card in this match then I think they can still continue to compete in the race to get the trophy this season.

On the other hand, I am quite happy with Liverpool and almost Manchester City also lost full points in this match for Stones to come as their 3-point savior.

William Saliba's red card was a disaster for Arsenal in this match because it must be technically difficult when they play with 10 players in the remaining time so Arteta tried to strengthen the midfield but it seemed that it could not stem the difference in players owned.

This is definitely a surprise but they also can't do anything because the situation is out of their control especially at the beginning of the match they were quite confident with the squad they had.
Now Arsenal are a little eliminated because they have 3 points below Manchester City and 4 points with Liverpool but this is also a lesson for Arteta because all situations can definitely happen including things like this so I think with the season still long enough this is certainly a good lesson and their chances are still very much there of course so instead of having to continue to regret this match it would be better for them to try to get up for the next match.

In the Liverpool game against Chelsea, I feel the result of the game didn't do justice to the performance of both teams in the pitch. Chelsea were the better side on the pitch if you ask me but Liverpool was able to get the best statistics of the game which was what mattered most.

Everyone expected Arsenal to win the match, but even after they received the red card, I was still confident in Arsenal to win the match because we all saw how they performed when they played against Manchester City and they received red card. The Vitality Stadium was very lucky land for Bournemouth team . Bournemouth players try to overcome the situation and they became successful to handle the attackers of Arsenal team. Arsenal attackers try best to attack but everytime they got no benefit and they could not do any goal in this match. Also their defense system was not powerful and that was big reason of their lose.Christie was the first player who got opportunity and he got advantage by this opportunity.Arsenal team should learn from their mistakes which they did in this match because learning is important part of game and if they didn't learn from that match ,they will lose next match .

Bournemouth's victory against Arsenal was not about the factor of playing at home, but Bournemouth played against Arsenal who only played with 10 players because Saliba got their card in the first half exactly in the 30th minute. Finally, Jeremy Doku has been subbed for Phil Foden. Doku has been struggling to make good passes in this game. It was obvious in the first half that he was not going to score or give an assist today. I was wondering when Pep was going to make that change for Foden.
Edit: Grealish comes on into the game for Savio. In my opinion, these changes should have been before the second half started.

Arteta needs to talk to the players because they have been getting a lot of red cards lately, luckily for them they have not been severely punished for picking red cards early in games. Delan Rice picked a red card against Brighton and managed to get a draw; Trossard got a red card against Manchester City and drew that game 2-2; today it’s Saliba’s turn to pick a red card. William Saliba is a crucial part of Arsenal’s defense, and with Odegaard and Saka absent in the game, the odds were already stacked against them.

You have made a very important point Pokapoka because these regular red cards is becoming troubling for Arsenal and might be the reason for some of the results they got. It is no more a mere coincidence, hence the need for Arteta to do something about it as a matter of urgency.
