that Brentford was able to create, but indeed the poor finishing actually made Onana goal safe throughout the match, Hojlund goal in the 62nd minute finally made Manchester United win 2-1 over Brentford and made them while has risen to 10th place in the Premier League standings today.
De Ligt Became the Hero of Manchester United's victory today with his bloody struggle.
Bravo, De Ligt! He kept playing on like nothing happened, that’s a player with a warrior spirit. If Manchester United had not comeback in the second half, the fans would have held Erik Ten Hag the medical department responsible for the goal they conceded to Brentford. Someone in the medical department needs to be fired, if they cannot dress a wound properly, how can they take care of players with more serious injuries on the pitch.

A surprising result occurred in the Bournemouth vs Arsenal match. I didn't expect Bournemouth to beat Arsenal with a score of 2:0 and it all happened in the second half. Ordinary clubs sometimes make unexpected surprises when facing tough clubs and they usually take advantage of the opportunity to play at home like what happened to Bournemouth. I think they were lucky enough because their opponents lost 1 player and that made the hosts not waste the golden opportunity to make it to make it difficult for his opponent.

Arteta needs to talk to the players because they have been getting a lot of red cards lately, luckily for them they have not been severely punished for picking red cards early in games. Delan Rice picked a red card against Brighton and managed to get a draw; Trossard got a red card against Manchester City and drew that game 2-2; today it’s Saliba’s turn to pick a red card. William Saliba is a crucial part of Arsenal’s defense, and with Odegaard and Saka absent in the game, the odds were already stacked against them.
I'm not even sorry for Arsenal with their red cards, and I don't think Arteta is not aware of their dirty play styles. Maybe that's the pick pocket style Arteta talked about during the preseason. You remembered he said he hired a pick pocket expert that took Arsenal players phone when they were having dinner or something like that during the preseason. Arteta and his Arsenal players are feeling entitled to the premier League title and they are playing bitter football, thinking that's the only way for them to win the premier League. I would like them to continue playing that way and keep getting more and more red cards. Maybe they thought that with the red card they can win Bournemouth that's why they didn't go all defensive as they did against Manchester city. They probably underrated Bournemouth and they got punished for that and they deserved that punishment. Well the season is still young and they can Still salvage it.
What makes you think that Arsenal feels entitled to the Premier League title? They have always finished second place for some seasons now, Arsenal bottled the only season they looked sure of winning the league. I think Arsenal are not going to win the league this season because they are giving away points they need. Manchester City players are the ones who feel entitled to the title, it was very unsportsmanlike of Haaland to tell Arteta “stay humble”.
It was because of the way Arteta and his players always think that they were more deserving champions than Manchester city that made Haaland to say to Arteta to stay humble. Arsenal fans thinks that they should have been the champion instead of Manchester city, but they have forgotten that Arteta is was a student of Pep Guardiola and it will take something extra ordinary for Arteta to beat Pep Guardiola in his game. It will be easier for another manager in another club like Liverpool to win the league than for Arsenal under Arteta to win the league ahead of Manchester city, under Pep Guardiola. It was bad for Haaland to say that to say that to Arteta but we don't know what Haaland saw that made him say such to Arteta.

There is never a smoke without fire. But that's a discussion for another day. Arsenal were celebrating when they successfully injured Rodri thinking that they have found a way to stop Manchester city. But now they have lost a game while Manchester city is yet to lose a match since that incident. Arsenal is no way near Manchester city standard. But I still have this conviction that Manchester city will finish the league ahead of Arsenal.

At the moment I don't think Arsenal can continue to challenge for the Premier League title until the end of the season. Arsenal played very badly in the match against Bournemouth. However, it is true that Arsenal's performance has deteriorated due to William Saliba's red card. But even then I would have been happy if Arsenal could have drawn the match.

In the last few seasons we have seen Arsenal's performance deteriorate even after a key player in their squad suffered an injury. And Arsenal won the title until the end. I think the same thing will happen again this season. Because Arsenal do not have a suitable replacement for any player. So Arsenal's performance will be erratic if any key player gets injured. Meanwhile, Arsenal have fallen far behind in the title race after losing against Bournemouth.

I was surprised to see Bournemouth won with 2 goals. William Saliba got a red card in 30 minutes and he is a defender. 10 men against 11 is not easy at all. There are times the team can be so good that the opponent will not win but Arsenal lost the match this time. There is still hope if Arsenal continue to play good but I just know that something might again hinder Arsenal this season. I wish the club can win the league once again but something will always happen that will hinder it from happening.

......The red card has clearly ruined all of Arteta's plans for this match, so they really need to make up for it in another match.
Like an unfair and very disappointing match seeing my bet losing. Undecided
Even though at first I thought when William Saliba got a red card, at least Arsenal could hold the match draw and preferred to survive. But unfortunately this is what I don't like from Arsenal always has a big ambition to continue to ambitious to get victory without seeing the condition of the team that ends with mistakes.
This was a very sad and disappointing defeat. They had tried very well at the beginning of the match, it's just that the red card really ruined everything. and Arsenal couldn't keep their goal from Bournemouth's goal attack 2x.

Source: Mikel Arteta interview after match

Arteta also realized their weaknesses and shortcomings during the match, he admitted that they actually had chances, but missed the chances. and there were some errors made. Now, they're in the third position of the standing.

Poor judgment from Saliba and poor management from Arteta for that lineup. Arsenal struggled to play with 10 men for 60 minutes. At this rate, Arsenal are not going to win the Premier League this season. Apparently, losing key players like Saka and Martin Odegaard is more than they can handle. Arsenal has a more difficult game ahead, they face Liverpool this weekend. How will they play against Arne Slot’s squad without Saliba?

Even if Manchester United coach has found it difficult to get the desired result expected of him, we can see that his team is playing some kind of good football this season than last season. Also knowing too well that Manchester United has improved her team this season is a stepping stone to confidence of good performance. Let's believe ETH knows what he is doing, even if we have our doubts.
Do you think there is any difference in  Manchester United performances? I think their performance is just the same as last season, or I will say their performance is even worse this season. Manchester United haven’t played anything special this season, there performance have been poor, they have been disappointing their fans since the season started. I won’t say because Manchester United won their match today, then I will start praising Ten Hag, a match can’t be used to judge if there is improvement in a club's performance. Manchester United played well today, but I won’t be surprised if they end up performing poorly in their next match.

I don't see any difference between Manchester united last season and this one. they're just repeating the same pattern with no improvement. they always find it difficult to win. just check out their match against Brentford yesterday it was indeed a tough one for them and Brentford took the lead in the first half but Manchester united staged a comeback in the second half. Otherwise, Brentford would have secured a win. However, Manchester united needs to improve in their playing style to surpass last season's performance.

Against all odds, Erik ten Hag's Manchester United came from a goal down to claim all three points against Brentford even when many had already written them off after they conceded a goal the stoppage time of the first half. Just like the headline in the picture you uploaded, Matthijs de Ligt was the hero of the day with his outstanding performance that saw him pick up an injury in the head. The Dutch defender have been at the heart of Manchester United defense since he joined the club in the summer and if he can continue to be this effective in the team, he'll be a great asset for the club

Against all odds like I have always said, I want Erik ten Hag to remain as the manager that restored Manchester United since the retirement of Erik ten Hag. I don't need nobody to tell me how much of a great manager Erik ten Hag has been over the past few years. Even before the game, I was convinced they was going to get the win. One more thing I need him to do is the start a four man midfielders which comprises of Ugarte, Casemiro, Bruno Fernandes and Eriksen. A three man back and then three upfront. Manchester United won but a club with pacy midfielders would have outplayed Manchester United yesterday.  Glad to see the win in between.
Well I believe that the tune of your voice would have changed if Manchester united had lost the game yesterday, am saying so because people aren't consistent, though it's very much common nowadays in football that if you do well, you will be praised and if you don't do well you will be criticized, and on a sincere note, the Manchester united team deserved some praised  yesterday for such a performance, even when they lost the first halve, they still came back and win the game in the second half in a convincing manner,  actually they really tried.

Then for Eric ten hang, though am not a fan of Manchester united, but looking at his performance as the manager of Manchester united, bro he hasn't done well considering how much he has spent since he came into the club, because to whom much is given much is also expected, and Eric ten hang hasn't lived up to his responsibilities as the coach of Manchester united, a team like Manchester united shouldn't be struggling as they are doing currently, they should be much more better than this.

Arsenal's players were too arrogant. They always made the same mistake. I expect more red cards if they keep playing the same way. They should have learned from their previous mistakes. They should be calmer. They looked different than last season.

It looked like Arsenal players forgot their roles on the pitch. There was no organization among them. They had zero creativity after they had no key players play for them.

They look genuinely awful even before the red. They must address this as soon as possible to ensure they're still having chance to compete for the title.

There are 7 matches today in the Premier League. The first match of the day will be between Tottenham and West Ham. Tottenham suffered a very unfortunate defeat last week away to Brighton. They led 0-2 at half-time that match. But they lost 3-2 that match. On the other hand, West Ham have only two wins this season in the Premier League. But one of them came last week when they beat Ispwich Town 4-1. Neither team has had balanced results in recent weeks. But I think Tottenham will be the favorites in this match.
It's really hard to tell when a team is going to perform well in the Premier League. West Ham have been performing well recently and they beat Bayern Munich in the Champions League match but they lost by a huge margin in their last match against Tottenham. Against Tottenham they conceded four goals in contrast they managed just one second. West Ham may always praise their goalkeeper and the goalkeeper is certainly one of the most reliable players in their team but this goalkeeper did not do well against Tottenham. After winning the last match, Tottenham moved to the seventh position in the points table and this is definitely a positive point for them.

Maybe because they are too enthusiastic to hold the top stand and forget how to play well. Arsenal is look ambition to get the win on Bournemouth home and use various methods to get it, but they because use a dirty technique that make mistake which is detrimental to themselves. Yes I agree with you, Arteta must talk to all player to take easy to control their emotions on the fields. This is the big problem for Arsenal, because they was collect 3 red card this session and and become the team with the most red card at the moment.

Did anyone notice how Lisandro Martinez pocketed Mbeumo? He was so great at left fullback role , not for too long. Diego Dalot had some tactical upgrade and genius today I must say. Erik ten Hag should maybe pair De Ligt and Jonhhy together because I feel like they'll.ake this make sense.
I've never given Marcus Rashford credits this season, but I do think that he deserves all the highest praises right now. De Ligt was outstanding as he was brilliant on the ball and also off the ball. I don't know if he was handed but man need to rest..

So the biggest shocker of today's round is Man United finally winning a game  Grin The win might have been minimal, but they actually could create decent chances, so there was some progress in the attack, but the opponent was not of the highest level. Anyhow, this could be a lifeline for Ten Hag in keeping his position.

The other surprise was Arsenal losing 2-0 to Bournemouth, mostly due to Salibe being sent of for tactical foul in the 30th minute of the game. I believe the referee decision (made after consultations) was in line with the rule, but given how far away from the goal the situation took place, the yellow card could have been sufficient.

An easy game for Man City tomorrow (Vs Wolves who only scored 1 point in this season so far) and a potentially tough game for Liverpool who are hosting Chelsea. So there's a chance MAn City will jump back up to the 1st place.

Very surprising, I expected another draw or an embarrassing lose again but I think the players mght have heard enough complains from the fans and decided to put a smile on their faces, there's no Manchester United fan that's not currently happy or discussing about the outcome of this victory somewhere right now and it's understandable cause they've been longing for such good performance from their team even though it was against Brentford. I don't know what Erik Ten Hag told those players today in the dressing room but i think he needs to keep it up cause if they can remain consistent for a longer period it would not only elevate them on the standings bur also boost the teams morale. Also, Manchester United lost many chances so I think they should work more on their conversion rate. As for Arsenal, they have received their own share of a red card and defeat, it's surprising to everyone but they should understand that the impossible is sometimes possible in football, that's just it. Manchester City would win easily against Wolverhampton but I think Chelsea would give Liverpool a tough game tomorrow.

I was once again like "Ah shit, here we go again." about Manchester United at first. However they made a really nice comeback. Good for them and Erik ten Hag especially! Because you know he is like the most debated coach in the recent times.  Tongue  It must be tough to handle such pressure.

He has always been confident about his job for quite a while. We will see about that. It is really assertive for a coach in his 3rd year without a PL title.

Even before the goal Manchester United players did well, they played better and did well to take control of the game during the first half. I'm blaming both the medical team and the official for the goal scored by Brentford United. The medical team should have provided a long term solution for the bleeding while the match official should have just let De Ligt on the pitch until the first half comes to an end. ( Finally I get his decision, Health First ). Newcastle United coach has also been fumbling but not being talked about and the same with West Ham. It's either they dislike Erik ten Hag or they dislike Manchester Uniteds success. Today, I'm giving Marcus Rashford and Garnacho his flowers. A striker who can convert chances would definitely solve 90% of them issues.
It is not time to judge, but let's see how Manchester United will be able to escape their shameful position in the table this season.
Why do we only call out Ten Hag, even if the results of the team lies on him, win or no win but from what we see in the team including from previous season, not every fault is coming from the manager. If we can count how many opportunities the players are failing to convert during their games then we know that the missed chances is enough to send them up the table and the coach isn't whom to be blamed. Quality chances was missed today, even the substitute that came in could not add any value to their current state, Zirkzee in particular could not hold the ball confidently on his feet, very bad performance from the team today despite their win.

In addition to the problems that exist in Manchester United regarding the players who have been brought in, do not provide a large impact to Real Madrdi so far, also a number of other things that need to be improved at Man United that I feel a lot of work is messy at Man United, I think Zidane will also be made exhausted with the current state of Man United, he certainly needs time to restructure Man United to perform better, his heavy burden must be a lot of expectations from fans of new coaches, and that is not an easy thing to do to be able to make Man United Changed in one night.
I don't think we're talking about Real Madrid here, but you failed to focus when maybe you were watching the Celta vs Madrid match some time ago. Ah forget it, but you have to fix it so it's not misleading.

Manchester United's victory today made me happy. This was a long-awaited victory after they had gone quite a number of games without a win. I checked again and found Manchester United had failed to win in their previous five games, so this was a win that broke a bad trend so far. I expected more from the appearance of the existing squad, but it feels like Ten Hag failed to do its job.
