Just hope today's games won't be a replica of what we saw yesterday all because of Uefa games coming midweek...

I know for sure that the United Chelsea game should have some goals..

Tottenham - Aston Villa should also produce some great goals considering these are among the best attacking teams at the moment...countdown is on Cool

I actually never expected the English Premiership to turn the shape it has taken now, especially where it has to be Liverpool that will be at the top of the league table for this long. I was thinking that the exit of Klopp will lead to Liverpool struggling to cope in the league but it seems nothing have really changed for the team despite the new management. Liverpool have managed to remain formidable and consistent and are now two points ahead of Manchester City that I thought will have a smooth sail to the trophy. This season is simply full of surprises.
Honestly, I never thought that the new Liverpool manager Arne Slot will have such an instant impact he's had on the Liverpool team this season. Despite not managing an English Premier League club before now, the Dutch manager have been able to become the first Liverpool manager that gone on to win 8 of his first 10 English Premier League games. Arne Slot have significantly improved Liverpool from what we've been seeing from them in the past two seasons as they're now considered a strong contender for the league title. If they can continue to be this impressive, then winning the league this season is very likely to be achieved by the Merseyside club.

Do you know why Liverpool are thriving? The human factor and internal harmony are the important factors of Liverpool in the successful period under Jurgen Klopp. New coach Slot understands this and builds his team in that direction. So far, everything is going in the right direction as Liverpool are top of the Premier League and second in the Champions League.
But we have to admit that the defeats of Arsenal and Man City brought a special opportunity when Liverpool took advantage of these defeats to climb to the top of the Premier League. The tournament has only gone a short distance, Arne Slot and his team need to do better to keep the top spot. Manchester City is a team that always settles down towards the end of the season. If Manchester City's key players return, I believe Liverpool will have a hard time holding on to their lead.

When Nottingham Forest was newly promoted to English Premier League, they signed 21 new players and many of us were laughing at them. They actually did not perform well with the new signings but they were not relegated. Now, we have started seeing the impact of those signings because they could sell and reinforce the team.

They had a bad coach last season who's also struggling managing the club Leicester City this season. Right now, they have a manager who has premier league experience,  he did well during preseason and that was the driving force ahead of the new season,  they have had three points at Anfield and a draw against Chelsea, just how they should take points from the top dogs. Nuno Espirito Santos is doing a superb job for them, will not forget in a rush how he did the same for Wolverhampton. Manchester City losing was the huge shock  yesterday.
The role of the coach is indeed very influential for the progress of the team and that happened to Notingham Forest this season who performed impressively and even ranked in the top 5 temporarily, he could be a threat to clubs who want to get UCL tickets next season such as Tottenham, Aston Villa, Chelsea, Man Utd and Newcastle if Notingham Forest can finish in the top 5 is a big achievement for the club and Nuno Espirito Santos deserves appreciation.
Though on my own opinion, it's very much unlikely that nothingham Forest would challenge for a place in the uefa champions league, because am quite sure that even though they have been of good form of late, they don't have the level of consistency required to get into the uefa champions league spot and keep it, am saying so because the season is still very early and the first leg is not even close to completion, but if it's a place in the uefa Europa league or uefa conference league, i believe that it would be much more achievable, but the uefa champions league is totally out of their reach right now.

Then as of the influence of the coach on a team, sincerely speaking i believe that it's the coach that make or break a club, if the coach is actually good, the team will definitely be good, especially if his playing system fits in with the type of players at his disposal, ok let's take a look at Manchester united today, since they lost sir Alex Ferguson to retirement, they have changed a whole lot of managers thinking that their fortune can change, but no it doesn't, because the one's that are quite good, their playing system doesn't suits the players at their disposal, so the coach has a major role to play in the prowess of a team.

In the match against Newcastle United, I believed that Arteta made the wrong choices in formation and in starting 11. I don't believe that G.Jesus is so down that he cannot start as a natural 9 and I also do not believe that Sterling who has the ability to run and commit defenders doesn't deserve a start. Although it all boils down to the coaches choice.
Actually, it is not too wrong if indeed maximizing 4-2-2 in the formation carried out in this match is the same as what Arsenal did against Liverpool a few weeks earlier.
It's just that the difference in this match is that there are several things that distinguish Arteta when doing the same formation considering that the scheme is not too effective with the formation being carried out.

In this match Arsenal actually tried their best but indeed in this case the situation became complicated when Isak's unexpectedly quick goal made Arsenal lose momentum and made Newcastle more careful in defense. We can see after the quick goal happened Newcastle immediately made a good defensive scheme without caring about possession and only tried in a quick counterattack. The 4-4-2 formation is actually not wrong, it's just that the scheme they do in this formation has been read and makes them lose momentum especially after a quick goal that makes Arsenal even more confused.

It's Arsenal who played awfully in this game. They have 0.00 xG, which completely explains how crap their attackers are. They always pass the ball to their wingers. Their opponents predicted it. I also rarely see them attacking more centrally; this is probably due to losing Odegaard. The problem is that only Odegaard could provide a line-breaking pass. When they missed him, they had no clue what to do.  They have no good backup at Odegaard's level.
After losing at Newcastle, Arsenal fell further behind Liverpool, who are currently at the top of the standings. Arsenal seem to have lost their identity in the last three matches, they have only managed to win 1 point from the 9 points contested. Arsenal game plan was completely invisible, they looked to be struggling to dominate duels for the ball, now their status as title contenders is starting to be questioned. Even though they managed to control the match by recording 63.9 percent ball possession, compared to Newcastle 36.1 percent, they deserved to lose because they lacked creativity.

It was a game that raised questions about Arsenal's attack and lacked a threat up front, with Arsenal creating just 10 shots and only one on target. Poor finishing reflected Arsenal's weakness in this match. Although Arsenal had more possession, their attacks still lacked breakthroughs and were often effectively stopped by Newcastle's defense.
In fact, Arsenal are in danger of being knocked out of the top 4 after round 10. And the gap between the top team Liverpool has increased to 7 points. This is a big gap when the season has only passed by 1/3, it will be tough for Arsenal to fill this gap to continue to show their position as a championship candidate.

Manchester City and Arsenal made me lose my bet today. Newcastle played well in the match, they were able to get three points, but I was just shocked by the result of the match. Even as Arsenal's performance this season isn’t so good, I was still expecting them to win Newcastle, even if it’s going to be a slight goal difference, but Arsenal couldn’t even get 1 goal in the match, they allowed Newcastle to go away with three points, which is really a bad one for Arsenal.
It's hard for Arsenal to break Newcastle's defense. I don't know what happened. maybe because many core players were injured so their attack could not be effective when they got the ball on the front. A player like Saka always gives accurate passing before, but last night he always slipped and sometimes made a little mistake which made a ball retaken from a Newcastle player. Arteta looked frustrated with changing the appropriate strategy, he even put 4 players in front, but it was still not effective in breaking the defense. On the other side, the Newcastle player is looking for discipline in managing the ball, maybe that's why the Arsenal player can't match the score until the finish because Newcastle's defense is the same as bus parking.

I can't believe both Man City and Arsenal lost their games. What's more, they lost them to the teams from the middle of the table. At least Man City could create some scoring chances in the 2nd half, but we're unlucky in converting. Arsenal lost a goal early on and they couldn't even apply a proper pressure. They looked like a shadow of themselves.
As a result, Arsenal dropped out of the top 3 as they got overtaken by Nottm Forest and are now 7 points behind Liverpool.
It's worth noting that Liverpool also didn't have an easy time playing Brighton today. They were losing at home until 70th minute but managed to turn things around.
This could be a sign that the gap in skills between the top premier league clubs and the average ones is getting smaller. Which I guess is good for the competition and entertainment.

It seems like Mikel Arteta’s luck has finally run out. You cannot continue to depend on your wingers to give you goals, I said it before that Arsenal will regret not signing Victor Osimhen or any other natural number 9 to fuel their attack. Arsenal were nonchalant in the transfer window and they are now seeing the consequences. This defeat to Newcastle has taken Arsenal off the title race, this season is now between Liverpool and Manchester City.
The question should be whether Mikel Arteta has lost confidence in his strikers and has resorted to using wingers as a usual or the strikers on their own have lost form. I remember when Jesus Gabriel was in good form, he used him also for every match even when there was a striker like Nkeitah. Arteta just sticks to what works for him for a very long time.

Arsenal can no longer be regarded as contenders for the Premier League title this season. When Arsenal are expected to win the crucial points, they tend to fall short, and today’s match against Newcastle was yet another example of how disappointing it is to be an Arsenal fan. I wouldn’t be surprised if Liverpool end up winning the league. They’re in excellent form and currently sit at the top of the table with a two-point lead.

He's essentially the same as last season. Last season Liverpool and Manchester City were also closely matched at the start, but then things changed, so it's far from certain that things will continue at the same pace, especially 2 points in the Premier League is a small gap. I think MC will still be able to climb to the top, it's just a shame that Arsenal are getting worse and worse, they are probably out of the championship race this time around

Arsenal is lacking something that Manchester City sets apart from all the rest. Liverpool is surprisingly effective at the moment, but I wonder if they can keep up the momentum for a whole season. At the end of the day Manchester City is probably going to have an incredible winning streak and then we will see whether Liverpool can counter that.

Liverpool, which is currently in first position, is already leading Arsenal with 7 points. I just have the feeling that it’s going to be difficult for Arsenal to cover up the gap. Seriously,  Arteta is having lots to work on this season because Arsenal's performance has dropped dramatically this season.
It's quite unfortunate, You lost hope to gain an advantage in today's match. It is true that no one expected that Manchester City could lose today's match because so far their performance has been very good but today a surprise occurred where they suffered their first defeat.
Arsenal also had to admit that they have not been able to consistently achieve consecutive wins because in the last two matches they also lost to Bournemouth and also lost today's match against Newcastle United.

So far the best performance has been shown by Liverpool because they were able to take over the leadership of the standings from Manchester City after they managed to beat Brighton. On the one hand I have to praise Bournemouth's performance because they managed to beat two big teams in a row. I think they are a team that prevents big teams from stealing points from them because so far they have performed very impressively.

With Liverpool's victory, I'm starting to feel more optimistic that we can be champions this season. As a Liverpool fan, I'm very happy that Arsenal and Manchester City lost and I hope they lose again in the next round.
Now this is becoming to give me another last season vibes, around this time last year Liverpool looks more like the title favorite, I was even among them saying they're going to win title and end Manchester city title rain, but we know how it all ended, they were behind both Manchester City and Arsenal.

Excellent job by the board, management, Nuno and the players so far.

Nottingham forest are the real underdog this season, excellent performance against disappointing West Ham to be honest, they're the team who bigger teams should be more careful not to give goal opportunity, since they know how to maximize these chances. Lopetegui definitely is more under pressuere, though I expected him to bhe sacked before Ten Hag but because he got the better of him in the last match, he is still the West Ham coach.

Something did change for Liverpool under this new management, and it's the fact that they have better players and managers of every opportunity that comes their way, in all the two previous seasons before this, Liverpool when they manage to get to the top of the league table, have never managed to stay there this long before sliding back down and behind, but things seem to have changed for them this season, they have been consistent in winning their matches and getting full point.

I initially thought that Arsenal will fight for the league title this season, since they have performed really well in the previous two seasons, and got so close to winning the title, how wrong I was...
And Manchester city which I thought will potentially not allow Arsenal win the league title; is starting to loose matches, appears to me like the big clubs actually didn't prepare well enough for this season.

For me, that I still believe Liverpool will succeed in returning to the top of the standings even though they have to overtake Manchester City. But, what made me surprised was about the defeat that occurred for Manchester City, because I thought Manchester City would lose when playing against a team that was at least also a top Premier League team but anyway, Manchester City actually suffered a defeat against Bournemouth which was a surprise, I guess.

Because this defeat also became Manchester City's  first defeat this season in the Premier League, after previously Manchester City got a defeat and also fell in the EFL Cup because they lost against Tottenham. But about Liverpool, it is clear that they are still in good condition and trend despite changing coaches, so there is still a chance for Liverpool to get the trophy this season.

BTC, a coin of today and tomorrow.
It seems that the burden for Arteta is still very large and they are slowly getting out of the way of the current competition.

In the last two seasons, Arsenal started well, but in the middle of the season they declined, then improved and at the end of the season they declined again. That's why I wasn't surprised by today's result. I wouldn't consider Arsenal as the type of team that will win the Premier League. They may have a good squad, but they are inconsistent at the most important moments. Whenever they have a good chance to lead the table, they waste it and when they are lucky enough to be at the top, they also waste it. That's why in my opinion, with today's defeat, I see them outside the list of teams capable of winning the Premier League this season.

This is not only about Arsenal. Every team has a time of their low performance and a time of peak performance. For instance, Manchester United of Sir Alex Ferguson is known for being poor in the beginning of the season but will pick up from the middle to the ending of the season.
So a team that has been consistent from beginning just like Liverpool must surely have a period that they will go in their low, either in the middle of the season or at the end. In this period of poor performance, what actually helps the team is the squad depth. Team with a good squad depth will likely manage their time of low performance till the pick up again.
