I was tonight, looking forward to Arsenal playing some really good game against Aston Villa and possibly winning the entire 3 points, it seems they started really well, but in the middle of the game, they lost balance, and again, the game ended with a great disappointment in my heart.

I had a small bet on them (Arsenal), but they seem to always loose their game any time I bet on them to win, I am not actually displeased for the money I lost, but displeased because I was really looking forward them(Arsenal) giving Liverpool a really hot chase in the for points, Liverpool secured full point in their game against Brentford, but Arsenal failed to do the same against Aston Villa, and now, it's looking like Arsenal is out of the race for the title this season again..

Arsenal is just being unserious. This is the time they should be amassing points or even trying to get closer to the League Leaders Liverpool but guess what? They are just dropping points like it's no man's business.

These points may seem insignificant but towards the end of the season, they will wish they had won the Aston Villa game just like it happened last season

Manchester City will have to struggle for them to achieve those 3 points against Ipswich Town because if Manchester City can go on a draw against Brentford in a game this week, then it will be very hard for them to win against Ipswich Town, which they have to struggle a lot with because their performance is still not stable. And this problem is not only from the players but also from the coach, who we all know he  is already emotionally stressed due to his divorce, so for Manchester City to meet up to the top 4 in the table this season, it will definitely be a big deal for them. Not as easy as we all are expecting, it will be hard for them.
Manchester City will have to be careful against Ipswich Town, Chelsea got a shocking defeat against them recently. Their defense needs to be reliable this time around more than the game against Brentford to avoid another shocking drop of points in their top four race.

Indeed, if you look at Manchester City's performance, of course they have not found their best form, but a draw is better than losing points. For me, Manchester City is out of the title race this season because they are quite far behind Liverpool and maybe their target is only to end the season in the top 4. But if other teams are not consistent, of course it opens up opportunities for Manchester City, but it seems like it will be difficult to happen.
Manchester City should see all three points against Ipswich Town. I am confident Man  city will struggle to get all points and start a fight to secure their position in the top 4 before the end of the season. As rightly said City is far from the league title but they still have a big chance to get a spot in the top 4 position if they can keep up with consistent winning.

One thing with the premier league is no team is 100% consistent with their wins as such any team can always overtake and replace slacking ones. All City owes themselves is to remain consistent till the end of season so they can have higher chances of securing good position in the top 4.

Manchester City will have to struggle for them to achieve those 3 points against Ipswich Town because if Manchester City can go on a draw against Brentford in a game this week, then it will be very hard for them to win against Ipswich Town, which they have to struggle a lot with because their performance is still not stable. Arsenal playing some great football against Aston Villa but the game is far from being finished especially that team Aston has got a goal back which puts some pressure back on Arsenal who were 2 goals up with a safety net, but now looks like they will be a dramatic finish has Villa is full of surprises.

Edit

Seems like I spoke too soon and game is now tied thanks to a beauty goal from Ollie Watkins to level it 2-2 ...let's go team Villa,  the Gunners need to be stopped in their tracks.

Well am not suprised to see villa back in the game , I mean with the whole tempo of the game and lots of chances of that the away team have being getting, it was just too obvious that they scored an equalizer but there is still little time in the game and we can see a decider between the both team. Aston villa this season is one of the major teams in the premier league and they have shown and proven that with lots of vigour when they play with the big boys of the league like Manchester city and the rest.
To me this game seems to have been fixed to play draw, because I don't really understand how Arsenal were able to squandered their two goals lead despite being the side that dominated the match. Aston villa came into this match with defensive mindset and they defended pretty well. They didn't have much time to force attack on Arsenal, but how they managed to score two goals in this match is still something that baffles me. Arsenal deserved to win this match, but they were not converting most of their chances.

This is gradually becoming a major concern for Arsenal team, they are missing their scoring chances more than they are converting .Today's match was supposed to be 3 points for Arsenal But somehow they managed to drop points again and Liverpool has extended their lead.
Liverpool fans would have been more excited if arsenal had lost the game it would have been 7 point clear but they will still be happy since they are gradually increase in point.

You don't still need to see the game as a fixed one to play draw that's just the nature of football a team can be winning till 90 minutes of the game and later lose the game before FT that's football, of a true Arsenal performed well to win but they were unable to make good use of most of their chances despite dominating the game.
Arsenal don't that force to challenge Liverpool for the league tittle I believe there would have been more pressure on Liverpool if Manchester City were the one at Arsenal position, Liverpool winning today during the dying minutes gave them more advantage of winning the English premier league tittle.

Who would have thought Nunez would save the day?  Grin  He entered the game in the second half and turned into a game changer in the last moments. 2 goals scored by him by a short interval... Is the old Nunez back?  Tongue

I doubt that though. I wouldn't trust him as he has shown many deceiving performances before as well. No matter what I would focus on selling him and bringing a proper striker in his place unless he starts scoring every game.

Arne Slot had a few private meetings with him. I think those meetings gave him motivation. I don't think he's a bad football player. But he didn't manage to be the main character at Liverpool. Maybe after Mohamed Salah leaves he can become the main character of the team. If he improves his finishing, he will be like a new signing for Liverpool.

Mohamed Salah's performance caught my attention in this match. He created a very good goal position for Gakpo. But overall he had a poor performance in the match. I think he has motivation problems because Liverpool didn't offer him a new contract. I think we are starting to see that on the pitch.

Aside from the lucrative pay and the fact that it might be possible this charges won't send them to relegation. I think if he really do love City a season in the championship won't really do him much harm.

When Juventus relegated there were still top players willing to stay with them and maybe he can still do the same.

Its not always about players willing to stay it's more about accommodating players big salaries which is something they can not afford to do in the lower league. If they get relegated they will be forced to sell players on big salaries to be able to play within the championship FFP rules. But realistically the relegation thing isn't happening.

Anyways, Liverpool struggled a lot despite creating goal opportunities easily. Now they will hope for Arsenal to lose points. But I feel like Aston Villa won't be able to resist until the end at Emirates. 1.57 odds given for Arsenal win...
Nunez have now turn out to be a super sub for them and it seems this is his new role for the team now since he cannot be a reliable starter. He is happy scoring goals and also making the happy as well. Who would thought Nunez will be the one to win the game for them? Salah, Diaz and every other players couldn’t break through Brentford defense and score but Nunez came in and scored 2 goals in the space of two minutes that was incredible.

Nunez cannot be relied on and it is just as you said he has shown similar performances in the past and when he is being started he just ends up missing lots of chances. He will miss the easy chances and score the difficult ones that’s just who he is.

Brentford was more comfortable and penetrated Liverpool defense, they had lot of chances but failed to score. Mbuemo had a few chances to take the lead but failed to score and they were punished at the end. They were lucky to get all three points and with Arsenal’s draw with Aston Villa they were able to extend their lead.

What Nunez did today is similar to what Amad Dialo did for Manchester United against Southampton although Amad scored three goals in that match but it is similar in the sense that both of them saved the day. I watched Brentford against Liverpool match from the beginning until dying minutes and I was frustrated because I bet that match Liverpool to win but seeing that there was no goal into late time into the match, I decided to leave. Little did I know that Liverpool later won the match through Nunez. It was indeed a good one for the Reds as they continued their lead in the league.
Nunez did a great job to save Liverpool who were in need of important points. If you equate what Nunez is doing with what Amad is doing for Manchester United, this time I will agree even with a heavy heart to say it.
Liverpool's difficulty scoring goals made us very worried because Mo Salah did not stop creating opportunities for the occurrence of goals.
We have another satisfaction when we know Arsenal draw 2-2 against Aston Villa. A pleasant champion journey.

I'd rather think Haaland's decision to extending his contract for 9.5 years is a signal if nothing will happen with his team related to their 129 charges.

If City would be relegated due the charges, he would not sign a new contract. He leaves for the other big club, but he is in a City's long term project. It means City won't be relegated, and they won't need to sell their players to comply with PSR.

I think Pep may be staying much longer in City.

Liverpool still remains clear favourite doe this year English Premier League title. Their performance this season has been outstanding playing 20 matches scoring 48 goals and having 47 points just loosing 1 what an nice  performance, while Arsenal the team a lot of people would have thought to have a tight fight for the trophy are having  mixed performance for some matches now and are 4 points behind Liverpool who have one game at hand and the lead could increase to 7 points.

Today Liverpool didn't get a comfortable win but Nunez was there to save them. Liverpool really look difficult to stop this season. Arne Slot is having a great season in his first year already. Nobody kept their expectations very high from him to be honest because he wasn't a well-known manager. But now he is surprising everyone with a great run. Now it is important to turn it into success with trophies. For the Premier League, they are the biggest favourite by far if they continue like this.

Although it was difficult to win in this away match, but Liverpool still managed to get three points and this victory was not at all easy to get. Because the two goals that were created also occurred in 90+ injury time, and Nunez managed to make a victory for Liverpool in this away game by making two goals. I just didn't expect that in the end Nunez managed to  become a deadlock breaker and provide a victory with a good score for Liverpool in this match. Thus, then of course Liverpool are still firmly at the top of the standings, because Arsenal also looks still ambitious to be able to compete for the title this season.
As much as I would love to see Arsenal lift the premier league title this season, I honestly do not think they will be able to catch up with Liverpool, let alone overtaking them in earned points, I feel like Arsenal lost their chance in the early days of this season, and right now, they seem to have regained a bit of strength, but unfortunately for them, Liverpool took advantage of their (Arsenal) downtime and have gone ahead.

And Liverpool look more strong and consistent so far, if they continue with this performance, Arsenal (like I said before) won't have any chance of winning the title, but maybe they can manage to again, end the season in second place if they stay consistent like Liverpool.

For me, the PL has clearly opened up a lot, and there is a clear winner, which is Liverpool, the team that I thought would continue to compete but whose effectiveness has decreased a little has been Arsenal, however, now another team that almost no one names but that is playing a role that I no longer understand is MU, until now they have not been able to have good consistency and this delays everything, for me one of the things they should do is change their mentality, the coach has already implemented his strategy and it seems that he is not going to change it, so this is complicated, and City is doing very badly.

That's the funny part of football it is never over until final whistle his Bruce at the dying minutes of the game gave Liverpool 3 points to keep them 7 point ahead of Arsenal.
Nunez performance was wonderful after coming in in the second half of the game he is really a game changer for Liverpool today I Know Liverpool fans will be surprised by his two goals today because he hardly see the net for Liverpool I won't still say if Nunez is back to form but the most important thing there is that he gave Liverpool an important win to keep them 7 point ahead of Arsenal.

It is going to be a tough game for Arsenal winning Aston Villa to close this gap won't be easy but in football anything can happen I won't still be surprised if Aston Villa eventually win Arsenal.

Manchester United needed this win so bad honestly. Diallo was the hero of the game for sure with a lovely hat-trick.  Smiley  However they had huge problems on making this comeback at the same time. All of their goals came really late. Nearly they could have lost to the last placed team Southampton. There is still a huge problem obviously. They shouldn't be in need of one player to step forward and save the day all the time. The teamwork should be much better than this.

I already have doubts about their Brighton game honestly.  Sad  I wouldn't bet on the Red Devils there. Even against Southampton I got very uncomfortable while following it. I just wanted to add it to raise the total odds a little that's all. I hate losing from low odds.
You are right. But I was expecting Southampton to put in a real fight against Manchester United. Southampton are in the rock bottom of the Premier League standing and they would be fighting aggressively to be able to get out of the relegation zone and I knew it would a tough match for Manchester United as their form in the league too has not been strong.

It was a nice fight by Southampton, though the match would have ended in a draw but Amad Diallo worked the magic for United for them to be able to get all three point very late in the match. This series of mixed performances as questioned their cohesiveness as a team. I am sure with Ruben Amorim as head coach he will definitely work on the team's performance to make them play as a stable team.
