Great performance by Liverpool tonight. They destroyed Leverkusen 4-0 at Anfield.
We can't say the same about Man City, who, surprisingly, got a pretty bad beating from Sporting and returned home with a 4-1 loss
Liverpool gave a fine show against Leverkusen last night in the champions league. Slot would appreciate Jorgen Klopp for leaving him with a standard and decent team with which he just came in and continued building on that form  now Liverpool stands in number one position on the EPL table ahead of Manchester City and Arsenal. While in the champions league they have been getting great results both home and away games.

For Manchester City, they are going through a challenging period both in the EPL and in the champions league, the absence of KDB and Rodri has really had a negative effect on their performance and they have fallen below expectation which to me the victory sporting had against them in the UCL was expected if we're to go by the loses they got in the EPL in their last two games.
We can call Liverpool the best performing team in the Premier League so far and we can also call them the best performing team in the Champions League. Ever since Liverpool appointed a new manager, their team performance has improved greatly. The one who was in charge of Liverpool before came to the end of his career did not do well in the last few seasons for Liverpool due to which he resigned himself from the responsibility of Liverpool and Liverpool appointed another manager to their club. Although this manager was criticized at first, later this manager is proving that he is not a failure at all and the team under him can become the champion of the tournament one day. However, apart from Manchester City not being in a good position in the Premier League, they are also in a somewhat weak position in the Champions League.
Even though Liverpool has a great chance to win both the EPL and UCL this season, I’m not convinced they can make it happen. I don’t think Liverpool has what it takes to make it through the season without dropping form. Arne Slot has proven himself to be a very efficient manager and a worthy replacement for Klopp but I wouldn’t compare him to Klopp. Unlike Klopp who had to build the team from scratch, Arne Slot was handed a top quality squad who are not new to success so it is easier for Arne Slot to build on the strengths of the team and continue from where Klopp left off.

Today's match is Brentford vs. Bournemouth. I am curious if Bournemouth will continue to maintain its positive trend. Because they was managed to overcome big clubs, Arsenal, Aston Villa, and most recently defeated Manchester City on Vitality Stadium. I admit, Bournemouth has a high fighting spirit when meet a big team, they seem to be facing a big challenge when face clubs above their ability. I don't know how they overcome clubs with the same strength as them. On other side, Brentford have the ability win the match when face clubs like Bournemouth on their home either. This will be an interesting match because the chances of winning between them are almost equal.

Matchweek 11 has some interesting matches that we shouldn't miss, such as the match between Chelsea vs Arsenal. I think among the others, this match is the one that looks so interesting to many people because both teams seem to have equal strength with each other and it seems quite difficult to determine who is the favorite in this match. Their odds are currently:
Chelsea @2.75
Arsenal @2.55
Draw @3.50
But I decided to bet BTTS with odds @1.58 and also added 2 other important matches to get a greater of profit.

Do you mean to say Jorgen Klopp didn't do great as a coach in all the time he managed Liverpool? Klopp is known as the only Liverpool manager to have won 6 trophies with Liverpool including champions league, uefa super cup and even the premier league. His achievements with Liverpool is what the present manager Slot is really not going to attain anytime soon. So it baffles me to read that you saying Klopp never did well with Liverpool. Is laughable.
Liverpool have a great chance to win the EPL and UCL titles this season if they can maintain their consistency and performance until the end of the season, the ability possessed by liverpool at this time of course cannot be separated from the tactics, strategies and slot ability to manage the team well, Slot has brought many significant changes in the tactics and mentality of the team and it can be seen from their consistent and dominant performance in both competitions, But I think the achievements from slot this season should not make us compare him with Klopp, let alone consider slot better than Klopp in his first season, I think Klopp has left a squad that is qualified, strong, compact and has high fighting power so that slot has no difficulty building liverpool in his first season on coaching, if we compare the two coaches, of course slot is nothing compared to Klopp who has returned the glory of Liverpool after 30 years of slump.

If everything continues this way till the end of the season, it's possible that Liverpool will win EPL, but I am not sure of UCL, because there are many strong clubs in UCL that Slot might find difficult to win. Club like Barcelona will be a problem for Liverpool to defeat, because they have an outstanding performance this season with their new coach Flick.
What I think Liverpool should do this season as per their good form this season is just to decide on facing one major trophy and chanel energy there mote as a target to secure for this season rather than wanting to chase both the UCL and EPL trophy as they might end at not getting any going in that way.  They can win the UCL if that what they chose to chase mostly as the only big team that's also in better form in this season's competition is Barcelona, other teams like Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Manchester city including Milan ain't that really a threat looking at how their performance has been poor since the resumption of the season. Frankly speaking, it's gonna be painful if they should end this season without any one of these trophies because there's no better timing than now, and to do that Liverpool would need to maintain their winning streaks.

After a fierce competition between Fulham and Brentford, Fulham finally managed to get 3 points in the final minutes to lock in a 2-goal victory.
Initially, Fulham was 1 goal behind Brentford, but it turned out that Fulham was able to take advantage of the final minutes when Brentford players began to lose focus.
Did anyone bet and watch the match?

It was indeed a fierce battle between Fulham and Brentford. I initially thought Brentford would win, but Fulham staged an impressive comeback, equalizing in the 90th minute and then scoring the winner in the 97th minute of extra time. In my view, Brentford lost focus towards the end of the game. Even though my prediction was correct as I backed both teams to score, I still felt that Brentford should have managed the game better to avoid conceding two late goals.
I'm going to be coming from the angle of gambling. This is exactly why you can't really say you have a strategy for gambling or you are sure you are going to win because last-minute games like this happen a lot in football. You won't see it coming, you might think the team is an underdog, and just last minute they score either a draw or they score to win. But it was a really interesting game and I always enjoy last-minute games.

Also, it's good to be hopeful, anything can change last minute, though you are not sure, but you will be hopeful. I'm usually skeptic to cashout, but when I think about the fact that I will lose entire money if I don't cash out when I saw a reasonable amount of profit, I just end up doing a cash out. But last-minute games are crazy and interesting at the same time.

But I see Amorim as more flexible in making game tactics than Ten Hag. He plays football with defensive and counter-attack tactics but he can also apply aggressive game if the opponent is a weaker team. I think Nistelrooy will be able to adapt and work with Amorim. Honestly I think it is easier for Nistelrooy to work with Amorim than Ten Hag. Sporting's victory over City has given great hype for Amorim. It was a great farewell because it gave victory to Sporting. And this is also a great gift for United because Amorim came to United after beating their rivals, Manchester City  Grin.

We can't use the past results of Chelsea vs. Manchester United to predict the upcoming game. Things have been changing a lot. I know, Manchester United always did well against the blues at Old Trafford. But statistically, Chelsea is well prepared than them.

that's enough to assume if Chelsea is a bit better than Manchester United at this moment. Importantly, Chelsea has had fewer injuries than Manchester United. So, I'm optimistic Chelsea will win soon. In Maresca we trust!
If Manchester United had played against Chelsea under Ten Hag then Manchester United would have been defeated in this match because if Ten Hag would not have adopted the same strategy that Manchester United played against Chelsea then Manchester United would have failed in one more match. In this match against Chelsea when Manchester United were awarded a penalty in the 70th minute and Manchester United were able to score from that penalty I thought it might be the match winning goal for them but it was not to be. Manchester United managed to score a goal in the 70th minute but 4 minutes later Manchester United conceded another goal and this was the last goal of the match resulting in a draw. Then I would say that Manchester United definitely did well in this match.

It was not that big of an improvement coming from Manchester United, and it was under Nistelrooy, so no major complaints. It was always supposed to be a difficult game coming, so fair play, at least they did not lose. Everyone got tired of Erik Ten Hag, so some change was very much welcomed, which was reflected throughout their performance. Everyone seemed more hungry to prove themselves before the new manager came in and joined them.

I think Enzo Maresca is settling in. It is taking time, but a new squad, a new management takes time. You can't compare Maresca to Arne Slot because what he is doing is just miraculous. No one expected that to happen.

Chelsea, if they somehow did better in terms of finishing, they could see a different ending to the match against United. They had the players they needed to win a match like that but gotta give credit to Man United for not letting Chelsea take the 50-50 chances. But if their finishing had a better day, Chelsea would have taken this match comfortably.
I have also seen many matches where Manchester United fought against another team and Manchester United was favorite over that team but Manchester United lost all those matches. There is no denying that Chelsea have at least been a stronger opponent for Manchester United than Manchester United in all the previous matches they have defeated. Manchester United was defeated because of the strategy of the one who was in charge of Manchester United earlier. The new manager has to take up the challenge and turn this weak team into a good one.  Everyone can do good by taking charge of a good team, but only those who can take charge of a weak team and turn that weak team into a good team are qualified.

It's one thing to want to stay and work with the newly appointed permanent manager of Manchester United Ruben Amorim but also a whole different thing if the Portuguese manager is ready to work with him. For Ruud Van Nisterooy who was once one of the most important players of Manchester United under Sir Alex Ferguson, the passion to always give his best for the club ajd help the club succeed I think will always be part of him but the his fate on wether to stay longer at the club after the expiration of his interim role will be decided by Ruben Amorim and if at the end, the current manager of Sporting decides against working with him, he'll have to find a new job for himself

Previously, Nistelrooy has said that his job was only a temporary coach before Amorim took over the team, besides that he also hinted that he would stay at Manchester United as a coaching staff considering that he has been contracted as a staff so far, so likely he would still join the team under Amorim's leadership later, the two coaches have different philosophies and styles of play at the moment as you said, but isn't it pretty good if they can collaborate?
Although it might be a big challenge but if the collaboration is successful, it will produce a very dynamic strategy and difficult to predict by the opponent later.

Nistelrooy's performance so far has been quite good and from several videos that I have watched, Nistelrooy is very happy to be able to help Manchester United to continue to develop like when he was still actively playing from the euphoria every time a Manchester United player managed to score a goal.
I also noticed that he really wanted to be made permanent as head coach but Manchester United had already brought in Amorim.

Amorin, I don't know much about him and other people might feel the same way as me. If it's just looking great when handling Sporting, then the challenges in the Premier League are very different.
It could be that Nistelrooy's help could help him get Manchester United back into the title race.

Nistelrooy's words featured in Romano's tweet, could be true during their journey there.

And commenting the new Chelsea coach, I can say that the man seems very good at his what he does, his job, Chelsea's game play have since improved ever since the new coach assumed his office and position as the boss to the team, though they aren't that consistent yet which is very much expected, I think Chelsea is beginning to prove their worth in the premier league.
Chelsea is still in the process of forming the squad if there is a miscommunication then it is very natural, Chelsea's new coach is currently in accordance with management expectations so the changes in the Chelsea squad are truly the result of their patience, whatever is done at least it will be good and the revival of Chelsea in the Premier League, because Chelsea has been a mediocre team for several seasons after Roman Abramovich left so it is natural that this change is what all Chelsea supporters want.

Together, Amorim and Van Nistelrooy could form a coaching partnership that brings the best out of the current squad. As for their upcoming Europa League clash with PAOK, this is a match Manchester United should aim to win decisively. A strong performance here would further boost morale and confidence, building momentum that can carry them through the rest of the season.
We don't know exactly if Van Nistelrooy will work together with Amorim or not because there is no certainty news about him. Van Nistelrooy still expects he can work as an assistant to build a team together, but I think Amorim is not so interested because he has his own team who had worked with him at Sporting, and most likely he will use the same team at previous club and cleaning everything on Ten Hag legacy. When I look at how Amorim plays his scheme, both has a difference tactical in terms of improving the squad. Nistelrooy was playing an offensive pattern while Amorim a bit defensive but relied on impressive to counter attack. So that the situation will be contradicted if both work together.

It is worth waiting for the final result of the appearance of Nottingham Forest this season. If they succeed, the English Premier League is getting better competition to win the championship tittle at the end of the season.
Nottingham Forest has improved quite a bit this season and shown us that a club that is always in the middle of the table is not always stagnant there will be a time when they rise and compete with the top teams like they are doing now it seems like Nottingham Forest will be a dark horse club this season if they are able to survive until the end of the season in maintaining their performance and successfully finishing in the top 4 but they must be consistent and get important points in the future because clubs like Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa will fight for that position until the end of this season.
The surprise given by Nottingham Forest made the team that has consistently been in the top four have to focus more on maintaining their performance, if they make more mistakes in every match then the chance of qualifying for the UCL next season is very small. Apart from Nottingham Forest, Chelsea are also starting to show signs of revival, their performance has started to improve since being handled by Enzo Maresca. A change of teams finishing in the top four could happen this season, Arsenal are starting to fall out of the top four and they will face a big challenge in week 11 when they travel to Chelsea headquarters.
The competition this season is getting tighter with Chelsea's performance improving this season and also Nottingham Forest trying to get a place in the Champions League next season, clubs like Arsenal, Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur have new competitors this season to fight for that position, but I don't think Nottingham Forest will last long in the top 5 until the end of the season because I have a little doubt about them just like I had doubts about Brighton at the beginning of this season many thought Brighton would be a strong contender in the top 5 but in fact they couldn't maintain their good, but at least we'll see what the club will do until the end.

Manchester United seems to be better under Van Nistelrooy if you look at the few matches he has managed sk far, two wins and a draw, although it is not to conclude but he was able to stop the consecutive loses and that alone is commendable.. I do wonder if retaining him as rhe head coach instead of hiring Amorin, wouldn't have been better for Manchester United? Perhaps we shall know from few weeks when the new manager starts work, maybe the club owners knows better and might be looking at sustainability rather than immediate results.

especially with one of their key players back from injury, I think Manchester City could set a record this season by being crowned English Premier League champions once again.

There is no doubt about City's ability to face anything in terms of good football , but look at how MU is now after firing their main player who was making them lose, they are waking up as they should have always done, if they get into the fight , despite the fact that Ten Hag left them in a non-privileged position, then this could be very good and I hope it stays that way , but also considering Arsenal and Liverpool, they are doing wonderfully, I would be more aware of these teams than City itself.
