How things are going Liverpool will win the title a couple of rounds earlier. I dont see anyone coming close to them and the gap will just be wider between them and the rest of the league. They won against Leicester easily just in second gear. After the third goal they didnt even want to attack and Leicester didnt even touch the ball later on
While the teams closest to Liverpool are losing, Liverpool continues to lead and win completely and there is no team bothering them. Manchester City has not been able to win a match for many weeks, how will they fix it, Pep Guardiola cannot find a solution, this year is almost over, although it is too early to say for City, there are many losses.
Chelsea were also getting close, they won a point last week and lost today. In other words, there is no team left that is really close to Liverpool.
The way Manchester City have started this season, people will stop talking about Manchester City after a few days. Now Liverpool's good performance is in our eyes, so in the Premier League, most of the discussions are about Liverpool and criticism is more about Manchester City. Liverpool have continued their early season performance so far so this team can be trusted for now. Liverpool have not been Premier League champions for a long time so this season is a golden opportunity for them to become champions as Manchester City are not in form this season.
Hopefully Liverpool won't drop points in the Premier League at least because of their mistakes and they will continue this performance until the end of the season.

I am not sure if people will ever stop talking about City, plus their entire 115 charges thingy is still out there, to be fair they do not really have that much, anyone who followed it closely would know that the reasons why they may drop to championship would be mainly about two things, but in the end, that's still a thing. So while they are already doing badly for the past 13 games, we could consider them getting even worse, not just lose more games which is possible, but also because we are talking about a potential for them to drop as well. So when you think about all of that, it is still a big talking point.
We have never seen a team win this league for four years in a row before as far as I know, and now we are seeing that same team, have one win in 13 games on the fifth season, that is weird and it's definitely newsworthy and even if they end up losing more or win more, they are going to end up getting a lot more talking for sure, it is something that interests people.
