I'm surprised Man Utd managed to earn a point on FC Porto in tonight's Europa League game. I thought it was all over when Porto took a 3-2 lead, but, despite Fernandes getting red card in 81st minute, Maguire scored the equaliser in additional time. I guess that's a small success.

Anyhow, speculations about Ten Hag getting sacked soon intensify. Apparently, he had a talk with Jim Ratcliffe after the embarrassing defeat against Tottenham, and rumours say that he may only have two matches left to save his position (Porto and Aston Villa).

With the look of things, I don’t see ten hag beings United manager till the end of the season. Reason being that’s he isn’t the problem. But then he is trying to cover up the problem which now will cause his job. The whole structure that has been put in place should be something that every United fans expect the team to be a competitive team and challenge for major trophies. But this expectation is not what they’re getting. Ten hag has failed to stand by his principles rather being afraid of what people say, he has decided to do what pleases so set of individuals in the club by not take up responsibilities and making concrete decisions about some players. Man U still have some much to be done, to see them being a competitive team and challenging for trophies.

I predict Villa will win with a narrow score. They may be parking the bus against United. I expect a bad game, good result from them.
If we look at their stats, I don't think Villa needs to park the bust against United to win the game. On average they have 45% possession per match so far[1], while having a decent amount of xG and low xGA. United on the other hand has an average possession of +50% with more than 1 xGA per game[2]. If I'm reading this correctly Villa should have a decent chance to score goals even if they don't hold the ball for long. They should press United aggressively to force United's players to make mistakes since that's how other teams scored goals against them, usually near their penalty box. CMIIW.

What do you say about the Aston Villa - Manchester United game in three days?  Huh

Aston Villa are on fire! They have been unbeaten for 7 official games and won 6 of them as well. They even beat Bayern Munich last night. Can you imagine?  Grin  Emery's students are unstoppable recently.

On the other hand Manchester United continue to mess up. They are even worse in big games. I don't think they will get any point here too. I believe Aston Villa win @2.31 is worth taking the risk.
Villa has proven time and time again how great they are, and I know we are not going to see the price changing anytime soon and we are going to face with some bigger trouble when the time comes. We shouldn't really be worried about it too much, just realize we are going to get something marginally better from this one way or another.

So all in all, if we are going to deal with a better result, then betting on Villa will be easier choice and we will get a win there. Plus 2.31 odds for Villa is just something I can't miss, because they should have been under 2.00, they are much better team right now and no idea why odds do not show this.

Unai Emery has done a great job with them and they finished fourth last year and they are fifth right now, with a potential to finish better. United sucked so far and I do not think they have what it takes to win at all, they are going to end up with much worse results for the foreseeable future and Villa is one of those games. I believe we are going to see Villa have a tough victory, they will of course not dominate, and if there is some lucky shot go in type of situation maybe United may even win, but I believe Villa will get a close victory for sure.
Yes I agree with you, nothing to harm if we bet aston villa at this time, even they play at home, their statistic also really good, they only lost 1 on the last 10 matches, and that happened when meet Arsenal which I think from material player and strategy much more powerful than Aston villa. So, MU today is not feeling well because they get a lot of pressure from fans and media who wants the management to replace the new coach. They are being hunted to recovery fast form lost and revived their colleagues on top premier league. This look like mission impossible for MU to make happen fast when ten hag is still on old traford.

Aston Villa is in a very good mood after they beat Bayern in the Champions League. And Manchester United, who often got bad results in the European League. Maybe struggle to beat them in an away game.

It's very obvious Villa will be more favored to take three points instead of United at Villa Park. They looked very solid on their defence with 5 backs formation. Their attackers can also do fast counter attacks.

So, i think 2.26 for Villa is very worthy to bet on. But for a much safer bet, I have double chance Draw or Villa. Villa's odds are slightly down. Bookies think United is struggling against them.

I predict Villa will win with a narrow score. They may be parking the bus against United. I expect a bad game, good result from them.

When a team is down, the coach is the first person to blame. The coach is like the brain and the players are like the body parts, all body parts will move following the brain's instructions, as well as football players who always follow the coach's instructions.

That is how it is thought and in fact for me that is the great logic, but thinking carefully about everything that has been said, many people do not like it when people speak badly of Ten Hag, but how is that done? He is the main person responsible, that is like a nonsense , if someone builds the bridge and it falls it is not the fault of the workers, it is entirely the fault of the engineer or engineers, so the engineers cannot blame the workers and say that it is their fault, it is something that does not make sense, so in this sense things are always very likely to lead one to think that it is a fact that those to blame will always be 80% on the part of the coach.

It's so sad to see another day Manchester United would lose. It has been enough loss for them for several matches now. And their next opponent is Aston Villa. The next 4 games are against, Aston Villa, Brentford, Westham, and Chelsea. And with the way they are performing, I only expect them to manage and get one win out of the 4 games and that should be against Brentford. The rest of the match they have ahead all the club would win them. Aston Villa, Chelsea, and Westham will win their game and I am certain.

Seriously it is a worrying time for any Manchester United fan, Aston Villa are currently pumped after defeating Bayern Munich who are yet to lose a game this season, I also do not think Manchester United will make their bout of this match. With the form in which Jhon Duran is currently on and the imbalance in the Manchester United defense we could see Aston scoring more than two in this game. Should Manchester United lose the Aston Villa match then it could be Ten Hag finale and they would be having a new coach after international duty. The remaining three matches you mentioned I think only Chelsea are a threat to them there. West Ham are never themselves against top clubs and this season they themselves have been awful also Brentford doesn’t look like that team to cause them problems. But Aston Villa and Chelsea got actually get sacked in my opinion

An easy week this week.
All the top teams will have a "weaker opponent".
I'm expetiong a win for Liverpool Arsenal, City and Chelsea.

Newcastle however it will not have an easy life versus Everton, neither Spurs imho.

Getting in the interesting time of the years with overlapping cup games.
We've seen Nottingham Forest go to Anfield this season to win against Liverpool and we've also seen other shocking results in the English Premier League so I don't think there's any "weaker opponent" in the league at the moment. Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea without doubt have been impressive with their results this season so it's understandable to predict that they'll win their games this weekend but it's not a guarantee for them to win because you think they'll playing against supposed "weaker opponents ".

All Manchester United fans are just tired of ten hag, everyone wants him to leave the club because they are not seeing any sign of improvement in the club, rather, Manchester United performance is getting worse, so everyone already concluded that ten hag is not the right coach for Manchester United.
I don't think that Manchester United's progress is more important to Manchester United fans than the Manchester United management. If with all the cries and complaints from fans about Erik Ten Hag's performance since last season, the management is still reluctant to sack him or give an order to him due to some deals they had with him (which we don't know), then they (the management) should face the consequences of their decisions. It only saddens me that the management seems not to care about their fans anymore as their decisions keeps hurting the fans.

By weekend, Manchester United will be meeting Aston Villa and with Erik Ten Hag still there, we already know our fate. Due to the poor performances of the Machester United teams, it is obvious that the outcome of the weekend match will still be poor as usual.

I agree with you. When Manchester United won the FA Cup last season I thought maybe Ten Hag will perform better next season. And it seems one of the reasons the club management did not fire him last season was because Ten Hag managed to bring one trophy to Manchester United.

Even after Manchester United won the FA Cup, I knew things wouldn’t really change for Manchester United because the FA Cup win was just like luck. Manchester United should have just allowed Ten Hag leave since last season, we are already in another season, but Manchester United’s performance is still so poor. Manchester United are struggling every week, and there is no sign that there will be improvement in the club's performance. It’s just obvious that Ten Hag is not the appropriate coach for Manchester United.

As a fan I think almost all fans ask the club management to change the coach.

Because I am sure, with Manchester United's poor results so far and also the great disappointment experienced by fans, it might also make management move quickly to appoint a new coach for Manchester United.
I agree with you. When Manchester United won the FA Cup last season I thought maybe Ten Hag will perform better next season. And it seems one of the reasons the club management did not fire him last season was because Ten Hag managed to bring one trophy to Manchester United. But it seems Ten Hag still can't fulfill his responsibility as a manager. Manchester United is still like a mediocre team. As a fan I think almost all fans ask the club management to change the coach. It is very difficult to see United slumping for several seasons and they are no longer competing at the top of the standings. It seems the club board should find another coach for United because the fans are really angry with Ten Hag.
But when the benchmark is only on trophies, in the end the same situation always occurs where Ten Hag cannot balance Manchester United's overall performance and can only focus on one competition that allows them to get especially the FA when compared to the EPL or other competitions sometimes it is considered not too prestigious so 1 trophy cannot cover Manchester United's poor performance in other competitions including in the Champions League and EPL last season.

It's just that management is too confident that Ten Hag is capable and at this time they should see that Manchester United's performance is far from expectations.
6 matches 2 wins, 1 draw and 3 defeats are clearly very bad results for a class of Manchester United even now they are in a standings that are not too appropriate for them where they are almost close to the relegation zone because they are only 4 points adrift of Cristal Palace who is on the border of the relegation zone.

Was the victory a result of luck, certainly because their rivals prefer the prestigious title than the FA Cup and added to the excessive euphoria by their fans made Ten Hag's ego increase, nothing changed from him when he was appointed as head coach of Man United having expensive players would certainly improve the game, but there was no significant progress at the end of last season or the beginning of this season, the only way to get rid of players who do not meet expectations and find a coach who has more flying hours than bringing in a non-superior coach, what's more there are many coaches out there and Man United management has so much money it will certainly be easy to bring in a top coach and of course in accordance with Man United's game philosophy.

Let us be honest to ourselves, Manchester United winning the F.A cup last season was basically on luck because they weren't performing well before they met Manchester city at the finals. Winning the F.A cup increased Eric Ten Haag's chances of being retained as the head coach but i don't think the management of Manchester united is really serious about getting a new coach if not they would have even done that earlier before now. There are experienced coaches the club can hire but they are just being too adamant to sack Ten Haag and it's not even like the club don't have the finance to employ the service of a new coach. They should be expecting more chaos if they refuse to let go of ETH because i can't see any improvement from him. They should get a coach who will understand the football ethics of the club and they will become strong again just like those days when Sir Alex Ferguson was coaching the team.

Erik Tag Hag generally has the possibility to win trophies before the end of the season, and people will forget about his sacking rumors, since I am sure if they didn't take any action against Erik Ten Hag Manchester United will still be playing weak but he will get one trophy that is how I think Erik Ten Hag is because last season Manchester United were not doing well but they got opportunities against Manchester City in the FA Cup and won the trophy and anyone stop talking about his sacking anymore thinking he can perform well this season and he has already started losing matches in the league, let see if they will take action against him if he continues to lose match in the league. If they lose their match against Porto and lose in the league against Aston Villa, I'm confident they'll make a choice to replace him since he's not helping the club anymore. Aston Villa are in better shape and defeated Bayern Munich in the UCL, therefore don't expect Manchester United to win their next league game.

The great benefit of being Manchester United is the fact that while they are doing badly, they are still one of the most talked about teams out there in the world. I mean City has won the league four times in a row right now, and the yare still not getting as much talk as United. Just check here, check the forum and you will see in the last 50 pages or so, United has been talked more than City, which goes to show you how important United is to this league.

Maybe they are not doing great right now, but we know we are getting a great deal of marketing for them which is amazing for them and we are talking about a profit for them as well because they make money from this marketing, and allows them to do better job with money management as well. While they might be badly managed, they never have financial troubles, no matter how much money they spend on players. So they are still doing great, while I agree it is not final yet, it is still a good job without a doubt.
Yah, what you said is correct Manchester United was doing well but now they are not. Even as they are bad in the season, they are more pronounced than most of the team. And only that will tell people that the team was not a weak team. And if they can do things right, they can bounced back.
They are some teams that plays match that people would like to watch and Manchester United is one of the teams.

With the way the two clubs are performing currently, I don’t think the match is really going to be a difficult one for Aston Villa, Manchester United's performance is currently poor, and any club that they play against is always winning comfortably. We all saw how Aston Villa played in their last Champions League match, nobody expected a win from them, but they were able to secure three points in the match, so they will do everything to win their match against Manchester United, and United are performing poorly currently.

Aston Villa are on fire! They have been unbeaten for 7 official games and won 6 of them as well. They even beat Bayern Munich last night. Can you imagine?  Grin  Emery's students are unstoppable recently.
They are currently unstoppable, so I don’t think Manchester United will be the one that will be able to stop them. I am expecting a win from Aston Villa, the match shouldn’t be really difficult for Aston Villa.

Before yesterday Champions League, Manchester United against Aston Villa wasn't much but it seems there is going to be a lil surprise this weekend because Aston Villa won Bayern Munich yesterday, same team that hasn't lose any match this season and now Manchester United want to play against such team this weekend, they can lose that match since it's an away match but who knows, we have to wait to see what the weekend unfold.

Aston villa had a 100% win record against Bayern Munich, this isn't the first time that they're winning them when then play against eachother. They win them the last time that they meant in the champions league. Also their recent coach U. Emery has always had good record against Bayern Munich, he was the last manager that won Bayern Munich in the group stage of the champions league last and he just did it again yesterday. The game was so interesting to watch, I thought Bayern Munich was going to win and score lots of goals as they usually do too but Aston villa had other plans and they played very well to deserved their victory.
