After 6 weeks left behind, Liverpool are topping the league.  Smiley  It looks like Rodri's absence will make the PL much more fun than ever. Manchester City completed 2 games without him so far and both of them ended in draws. Can this be just a coincidence you think?  Grin  I don't think so at all. He is really the insurance of Manchester City midfield.

I'm just fed up with watching them winning championships every freakin' year. I'm okay with any other team to win that title this time. But I would rather see Chelsea there as I'm supporting them in this league.
Lol, just like my thought tho. Last season I had same view about the league I also predicted Liverpool or Arsenal despite Arsenal’s force Manchester city won. They’re good team we all know but I believe their biggest challenge this season will be Arsenal no doubt, I guess you want Chelsea winning seeing they’re performing perfect ever since Pochettino left let’s watch out what will happen next. Manchester city will definitely feel the absence of Rodri meanwhile what’s the issue with Kevin injury it seems he’ll not stay long this time, kevin is also a good player definitely.

Manchester United's victory against Manchester City in the FA Cup final did save Erik Ten Hag's coaching career so the management kept him and thought the coach would give better results at the beginning of this season by providing the player facilities he needed, but in fact he could not give good results in the Premier League his performance was still inconsistent like the previous seasons I think the management must make a definite decision regarding the future of this coach and provide a solution so that his club does not continue to experience poor performance.

Manchester United is fucked even their fans are tired and the win actually helped him and the expection were high on ten this season and when I entered Twitter and I saw some tweet about Manchester United and the way they were flogged by Tottenham 3:0 and am just surprised to as what have happened to Manchester United. I still have a feeling that they are not completely satisfied because that dude have not been doing everything right. His still very lucky to still have ia just because if it was Chelsea they would have sacked him a long time ago. I knew that nothing will change even from the beginning of those games they have been playing and at the end of the day they won't be able to manage,  the club because they are not going far and the club needs is improvement and if they don't get it then his gone. The bitter truth is that they can not continue this way.  See the way Chelsea have improved very well.

The Victory of Manchester United against Manchester City in FA cup last season shouldn't have been used to assess ten Hag to still allow Jim to manage Manchester United. That very game Manchester United won against Manchester City was a game that Manchester City didn't take serious because it wad a game their key players didn't participate,  I think it is expected for Manchester United. The end of last season would have been the best time to let Ten Hag go. The wsu Manchester United is going this season it is just as if this season will be difficult for them. This is the best time to sack ten Hag,  the season just began.

Well, I felt like during that time of the season, he was still the right man for the Manchester United job. He is far better than Graham Potter, Ole Gunner Solskjaer, and also the so called Gareth Southgate linked to Manchester United o replace Erik Ten Hag as head coach. I'm not defending Erik Ten Hag no more, and if the management of Manchester United decides to sack Erik, so be it. Manchester City had them best players present during that game, they had Rodri, Erling Haaland, Phil Foden and also Kevin De Bruyne, why the excuse? The truth about that game is that, how Pep Guardiola shaped his side was poor tactically and weak. Two games for Erik Ten Hag to turn the tides around would he?!

People never seem to stop talking about Manchester United and Erik ten Hag, huh? Sometimes I myself get bored with this topic, but I have to admit this is always interesting, Manchester United and Ten Hag. Always a good debate: whether Ten Hag is worth keeping, or it is already time to replace him. The majority claim that three seasons became enough to prove himself and that achievements like winning the FA Cup do not erase failures in more prestigious competitions, the Premier League or the Champions League.

Of course, the players also bear responsibilities. The squad keeps on changing, new players come in, but the desired results do not come by. At this stage, naturally, people could start to ask if Ten Hag's leadership is something that should continue. But MU is always in the spotlight, no matter what, and maybe that's why the discussion about them should never be quiet. It's boring, as long as MU has not returned to shining at the top, this conversation will definitely continue to roll.
Manchester United’s situation makes a interesting discussion, one I particularly enjoy. Everyone has become an expert on what they think is best for the club. As long as Erik Ten Hag is still the manager of Manchester United, the criticism will continue. In my opinion, Manchester United got what they deserve. They wanted a big name manager, that’s why they went for Erik Ten Hag. Their rivals, Chelsea and Arsenal didn’t go for a big manager, they went for a manager they know could build the club from the ground up and get results.

God is great

Erik ten Hag should have been sacked towards the end of last season following his dismal performance in both premier league and UCL however I believe winning FA against Man City must have been a relief for him which must have prompted their board to have a change of decision by giving him more time, however despite the massive amount of money spent last summer for new signings yet the club had not made any significant improvement which should be attributed to Erik ten Hag lack of enough tactical input to the team, I think in nextfew days definitely a decision would be taken.

Manchester United is currently in a big dilemma to keep Ten Hag or fire him, because after Ferguson's retirement we can see that none of the coaches are really able to bring Manchester United to win the league, so maybe they also think that Manchester United current problems cannot be solved only by changing coaches, but apart from that, of course, considerations and also actions must be taken immediately at this time to prevent Manchester from falling further in the future, the defeat to Tottenham Hotspur is of course difficult to say if it has anything to do with the red card received by Fernandez, because after all from the beginning of the game they have started the game very badly, I think the appeal made by Manchester United is indeed reasonable considering the referee decision of 50:50 regarding whether or not the violation is feasible to get a red card , But I think, without a change in Ten Hag game strategy in the next match, even with Fernandez in the squad, there will not be much difference at all in the chances of winning.
After Sir Alex Ferguson, who retired in 2013, so there has been over ten years since retired, there has been just four managers who managed the team for more than 100 games. There were others like Rangnick, Carrick, Moyes, Giggs etc that managed fewer games. The four that they used were; Mourinho, Van Gaal, Ole and Erik Ten Hag now. Mourinho had 1.97 averages per game, Van Gaal had 1.81, and Ole had 1.79.

Right now Erik has 1.87 and they are still keeping him, no idea why they are doing this. Mourinho was fine, and they shouldn't have fired him, dude was getting the points he could get with such a hectic team, years ago, if he was there now, he would have done 2.00+ easily.

In any case, they never found a manager that did 2.00+ which is what they need, they are doing terrible with manager choices and they need to hire someone who is much better, this system is not working at the moment the way they desire. They need to find someone who is a superstar manager, no other choice.

It seems that Ten Hag will not last much longer in the Man United coaching chair, the board of directors have started to take precautions after they went through a road full of holes at the start of this season. The management plans to promote Ruud van Nistelrooy as the new head coach at least for the short term if the team's results and performance do not improve. Man United will face two tough matches in the next match, they will face Porto in the second Europa League match, after that their strength will be tested by Aston Villa in the continuation of the Premier League. A change of manager could be imminent if Manchester United fail to win those two games.
It is unclear that Ten Hag will be fired/sacked or not. I saw few articles that reported different condition about Ten Hag's position on Man United.
1. https://www.firstpost.com/sports/football-news/erik-ten-hag-reaction-manchester-united-vs-tottenham-english-premier-league-13820458.html

I don't know which one is trustable. But I see no change in Man United manager yet. So, I still assume Man United gives more chance for Ten Hag to continue his work. It is also not easy to get the replacement now, unless Ma United board wants to accept Van Nistelrooy as the new manager. I think we need to wait for an official announcement from Man United board.

Disappointing result ion the big match between Manchester City and Newcastle, also Haaland ruined his median.
Still early in the season but was a long time we didn'0t see Chelsea in the top 4 of the league.

I think they will not compete for the final win, and the league will be won again from Manchester City.

...Unless... something unexpected will happen in few months with a big penalization of FFP.
I have been reading about the big decisions to come with the FFP for too long. Please when is this decision coming because I am losing my patience already. Manchester City look like they are going to escape this season with the case being on hold.

Against Newcastle, City got what suits them. I was expecting a draw or loss for City and it came as expected. Kudos to Newcastle United for making this happen and stopping Haaland’s scoring streak.

Erik Ten Hag has not performed well for the Red Devils. The club is one of the most anticipated clubs with a good fan base in the European league, but look at how the Manchester United have gradually become a laughing stock by many due to their heightened level of uncertainty in the games past. Some people will argue with the two trophies won by Ten Hag since he came into the club but on a broader basis, he could have performed more than he did

The players have their own share of the blames as much as they will be applauded if the club was doing well. The players need to work more on their teamwork and dexterity to win their games. They also need to support the manager in bringing out the best in the club and attaining victory for the club. My problem is, Erik Ten Hag have the major role to play in their unity particularly emotional support. If the manager fails in the cohesion of the squad, the squad may not achieve best results.

For the management to have thought of Ten Hag rapid improvement over the victory of the Manchester United against the Manchester City is not a well thought idea by the management because I feel the issue with Ten Hag isn't just a club's issue but more of the emotional issues with the Ten Hag manager. He does not have that emotional maturity to manage such a dynamic and top rated club like Manchester United especially at a time when Man U was diminishing in its performance and needed a strong willed managers like Pep Guardiola or Ancelotti, etc.

The success of winning the FA Cup trophy really saved Erik ten Hag from being fired but unfortunately, even though Erik ten Hag was still given a chance this season but Erik ten Hag made disappointing results. But even so, when I saw Ruud van Nistelrooy in one of the Manchester United matches, then at that time I was sure that maybe Ruud van Nistelrooy would be the new coach for Manchester United later. And maybe that will be true because after all, from some rumors that I got at least Ruud van Nistelrooy has a big chance to replace Erik ten Hag if Erik ten Hag is fired later. Because I am sure, with Manchester United's poor results so far and also the great disappointment experienced by fans, it might also make management move quickly to appoint a new coach for Manchester United.

Well he saved it because the owners of MU are co-descendants with him, but personally I am a person that really the coach has had more than 3 seasons to prove himself, of course I respect the club's decisions, but how have they been bad since MU does not shine where it has to shine a single competition that wins does not erase all the bad it has done, it is better to shine in the first places of a PL, in a UCL that there, I do not know, but I am one of those who prefer that they shine in that and not in an FA Cup, I have seen other clubs that when the coach loses "consecutive games" they are fired, here not, do the players have responsibility? Yes of course, they do, but for more than 3 seasons they have been changed, they have been put, and the result? the mass, sometimes you have to change leaders because they do not give results, it is my opinion widely respecting the defenders of Ten Hag.

The two titles he won in his first two seasons is actually a great achievement, he is a manager that have focus even though his substitution pattern is not favorable in some matches. He is a manager that knows how to play final because the two season he won EFL Cup and FA Cup are terrible seasons for Manchester United because they are struggling in the Premier League to even make it to UEFA Europa League and yet he won title for the team which is a great achievement because Arsenal under Arteta that is doing very well won just Community shield.

Yes, the FA Cup trophy saved his job as Manchester United’s manager, but right now, if he didn’t improve his team’s performance, he can lose it because the team needs something good. Losing against small teams in the Europa League is not proper and the way his Premier League performance drops looks alarming, and he needs to do something before the management take drastic decisions against him which might result to sack.

The pressure on Ten Hag will be weighty in the next matches if MU in both away trips to Porto and Aston Villa, Ten Hag's future will be complicated to guarantee. I often prayed that MU would suffer another defeat so that the board of directors would soon fire coach Erik Ten Hag  Grin. MU suffered heavy losses because they trusted and pampered Ten Hag too much.

Perhaps, Aston Villa underestimated Ipswich too much because although Aston Villa played poorly, but Aston Villa still managed to win in the first round. With the victory in the first half, then maybe Aston Villa was too complacent, until finally Aston Villa had to endure the draw. Because after all, basically Ipswich is also a team that has not won at all so far and thus I think Aston Villa underestimated Ipswich too much.

But even though this match only ended in a draw, but at least Aston Villa is also still in the top five which also only has a two-point gap with Liverpool who are at the top of the standings. Thus, I think Aston Villa still looks fine, Aston Villa just needs to stay focused despite only playing against the promotion team, because surprises can happen at any time.
Aston Villa conceded an early goal, it must have affected them, but they came back pretty quickly and went ahead, I was hoping that this turning point in the game would allow them to take the match to victory, but the second half was bad, Ipswich tried everything to equalize, and Aston Villa were focused on holding the score, I think that was their mistake, they should have tried to score another goal, but instead only a draw, and the fight for the top 4 will be very difficult for them. Today they have to play Bayern in the Champions League, a very tough test, and then the match with Manchester United, two home matches, at least there won’t be any tiring flights.

Apart from that I think it doesn't have much of an impact, although Bruno's role is very central in the Manchester United team's midfield, but the Manchester United team's problems are now in all lines and with the bad results they received in the last series of matches, the team's mentality and confidence have been so low that it is difficult for them to rise.
This weekend Manchester United will visit Aston Villa's headquarters, this is not an easy job, especially since Aston Villa is a team that is quite strong when playing at home so I think there is a big potential that Manchester United will get bad results again.
Although the season is still in its early stages, MU fans are already fed up with their favorite team. After 8 matches in all competitions since the beginning of the season, perhaps now, some directors on the MU board are gradually regretting the decision to give coach Ten Hag another chance. In 8 matches, the Red Devils have only won 3 times, mostly against weaker opponents such as Fulham, Southampton, and Barnsley. Meanwhile, in matches that had a big impact on honor, such as the two matches welcoming Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford, Ten Hag's army had to suffer humiliating results. It is a great humiliation for a prestigious team like MU. I am curious how long coach Erik Ten Hag can stay at Old Trafford.

I support your opinion about the current bad things that are happening to Man United and we can't just criticize from one direction but also the players we need to see if they are contributing according to the strategy given by Ten Hag.
Of the majority of players that Man United have, I only see Garnacho who has maximum performance and always gives a very good contribution.

So here we go again, a new wave of main stream media speculating on Ten Hag's future, following the 0-3 loss at home to Tottenham, has surfaced today:

https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11667/13225263/erik-ten-hag-why-are-manchester-united-and-ineos-continuing-to-back-the-dutchman-in-face-of-such-adversity
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-13912787/Erik-ten-Hag-lacks-fire-PASSION-claims-former-Man-United-coach.html
https://metro.co.uk/2024/10/01/sir-alex-ferguson-recommends-manager-man-utd-erik-ten-hag-replacement-21716385/

There's not much joy in the fact that Fernandes' red card got overturned by the FA and he'll be able to play in the upcoming games. After 6 rounds, United are on the 13th place, and there's no sign this will improve anytime soon. This is of course unacceptable for a 2nd richest club in the EPL.
