There is nice setting tomorrow which is Arsenal against Southampton and Manchester City against Fulham, two matches I might consider sure win for the home sides. However, Manchester City match seem a little sensitive because Fulham can pull a surprise in that match following their recent form which I believe is good to withstand the pressure from Manchester City. The match I feel is very sure of being an easy win is that of Arsenal because Southampton are yet to pick up their form this season.

The match that many people are waiting for is the Manchester derby between the two very strong teams in the Premier League, but Arsenal against Southampton is not a good situation but Southampton is not an opponent comparable to Arsenal as well as Manchester City versus Fulham.

This match will clearly be won by the big teams, namely Arsenal and Manchester City, both opposing teams in the last few matches have not shown their best performance so there is a great opportunity to get full points from this match.

because Manchester United have always been surprising in several matches and it could be in this week's match as well.
There is nothing to doubt about who has the best performance between them. Aston Villa is definitely better and is on fire to kick out Ten Hag immediately tomorrow. I don't know what the team can do to keep their coach to stay at MU, because they are stuck and nothing can do to save him. Even if MU wins with an impossible strategy also, Ten hag position is still vulnerable to get the sack. So, I think MU must play naturally tomorrow, don't be burdened with pressure from anybody, so if they play freely and win, they are not stiff anymore for the next match, and Ten Hag position maybe will considered again to manage team.

Manchester United cannot hide behind the red card picked by Bruno Fernandes. United were already losing the game, Tottenham dominated the game from the beginning and they could have scored two more goals before Bruno Fernandes was sent off. The players looked unmotivated from the start, Andre Onana and Garnacho were the only players who were putting any real effort into the game. I can’t believe United fans are defending this loss at home. Arsenal had a red card against Manchester City, and they managed a draw. What stopped ETH from changing his tactics to fit the changes in the game.
Besides the factor of red card, I agree that Tottenham has dominated the match since the beginning. Tottenham has scored 1 goal in minute 3', it was a quick goal. Tottenham also got few chances after they scored 1 goal. However, Tottenham easily scored other goals after Bruno Fernandes got a red card. The red card dropped the mentality of Man United players and it destroyed Man United tactics. It was difficult to face Liverpool with 10 players only, the chance of Man United tactics has no impact.

If I'm ask who is going to win that match, to be honest with you I don't know what to say because even Aston Villa are not consistent.
Aston villa isn't consistent?? What do you define as consistency? Playing all matches without a single loss? How's that even possible.
Aston villa has atleast 4 straight wins from their previous matches in atleast 2 competitions and what do you call that? Y'all underrate these players and when the repercussions come, you'll be found wanting. I won't even dare to side a bet in a match between a big team and Aston -- or maybe I'll just give them an advantage over the big team, but with the Asian handicap.

Did you see how difficult it was for Bayern Munich to pass through Aston Villa defenders, I think it's their striker that is even weaker in this case or perhaps that's what I notice in the Champions League, they might adjust the two layer to neutralize Manchester United that will be coming their home. If I'm ask who is going to win that match, to be honest with you I don't know what to say because even Aston Villa are not consistent.

Emery's intelligence in concocting Aston Villa's strength cannot be underestimated for now, because he has proven that with the quality of players who can be considered average on all fronts, in fact they are able to surprise and always become a stumbling block for several big clubs against them.

It's just that for now in the Manchester United match against Aston Villa I think this is still difficult to guess for several reasons. First, these two clubs are still in a state of recovery due to matches in the Champions League and Europa League so there will definitely be some rotations made so that the players are not too tired and the second condition of Manchester United is sometimes unpredictable although there will certainly be many who doubt Manchester United with Ten Hag's condition as it is today but still we are difficult to guess what will happen because Manchester United have always been surprising in several matches and it could be in this week's match as well.

United drawing against villa is something I can't even imagine, even in my dreams. No offense, but I think this current united team don't have that mentality to compete against the villa side, especially when they will be without their captain (Bruno) on Sunday. I have watched few of Villa matches this season, including their UCl game this week. I could see the top level that Emery has raised the team to. And if you are to mention two teams that uses their number 9 very well In the English premier league, then it has to be Manchester city and Aston Villa. Have you sit to watch how watkins makes some interesting runs and position himself as a real striker?. Aside that, the Villa team is very good at making accurate passes (especially the longer passes), and they are good on the counter. So it's a doubt that united will be returning to Old Trafford with a single point. Nevertheless, good luck to both sides.
Aston Villa will try to take advantage of Manchester United's unstable performance in this match, especially in the home game that will be presented tomorrow, of course Aston Villa has a big chance to get 3 points and return to winning ways after drawing with Ipswich in the previous match. If you look at the odds in this match, I'm pretty sure Aston Villa will extend Manchester United's poor performance because for now I think Manchester United's players' spirits are down after the bad streak they've experienced.

In terms of the appearance of both teams at the start of this season, of course Aston Villa performed better than Manchester United. Even tomorrow's match will be a big proof for Erik ten Hag for everything he said the previous week. Manchester United fans certainly expect a win in tomorrow's match and if Erik fails to do so, I'm sure Erik's position is on the brink of being fired. Well, if you look at the draw, it could happen, but I hope Watkins can bring change from the assumptions of many observers.

I don't think that Manchester United's progress is more important to Manchester United fans than the Manchester United management. If with all the cries and complaints from fans about Erik Ten Hag's performance since last season, the management is still reluctant to sack him or give an order to him due to some deals they had with him (which we don't know), then they (the management) should face the consequences of their decisions.
Y'all laying too much blames on Erik Ten Hag and his performances... Can someone atleast understand that he's trying too hard not to get sacked? This is about his position as the head coach so, I'd say this is the most traumatizing moments for him... United is a team that needs alot of rehabilitations in all aspects. Erik has only one option; he needs to stir the wheels and save the ship from sinking!

Quote
It only saddens me that the management seems not to care about their fans anymore as their decisions keeps hurting the fans.
If they gotta improve their team performances, it ain't supposed to be about how the fan base feels, it's supposed to about how the team would grow and adapt to the new rules and game pattern in the premiership.

What? I think draw is already a good result for Manchester United because Porto was a favorite in that match, it means people weren't expect Manchester United will win. Porto is actually a strong team, they often qualify for Champions League and make it to the round 16.

The upcoming match Manchester United will be a favorite, although I'm not sure they will beat Aston Villa.
It good for you but I like Manchester but it been a great match between them both sides with equal goal. If any player had score an extra goal they would have won the match. No it is wrong most of the people were on the side of Manchester United and they expect to win this match for sure. Two goal in the first half were score by Manchester United due to which most of the hopes were on Manchester but a few minutes later Porto player score two goal to equalize the match.  If the players of Manchester United would have apply pressure and prevent them from score then the victory would have been in their favor, but luck did not favor them, due to which no one could win this match. But not strong enough to beat Manchester United in the match but the competition was well play and hard fought by both side.

I enjoy your last sentence that you Said good luck to both side. But still I want you to understand Manchester United might still be having issues with their performance, but that doesn’t still mean they will be looked down on, because Aston villa are using their striker very well doesn’t means they most win Manchester United in the game, anything can happen knowing well it is a game. Although I have my reasons that I said Manchester United are capable of going on a draw with Aston villa even though there are not in a good form, but we all will see what will happen on Sunday.

However, we don't know for sure what will happen but if we are to judge by the short term performance, Aston Villa have adjusted and they can punished Manchester United again but if things turn out to favour Erk and the boys, then I think the rant and sack threat coming from different angle will subsidize because alot of people are not happy with that man with their performance lately.

I believe that every Manchester United supporter around the world is tired and frustrated with Erik Ten Hag and his failed tactics. Erik Ten Hag has been given more time than any past manager in Manchester United to make a difference but there is still no improvement in the team’s performance. Last night’s game against Porto in the Europa League would have relieved the pressure a little on ETH only if Manchester United had won but they drew the game after getting a two goal lead advantage.

I would have agreed with you that the draw Manchester United played with FC Porto was a good result for them, but since Manchester United had a 0-2 lead against FC Porto, the draw was a bad result for Manchester United even though they forced FC Porto to a draw match last night. Manchester United has not consistently won their matches this season in all competitions, and with what Aston Villa has shown this season, I am afraid Manchester United can't be the favorite in their match against Aston Villa on Sunday.

Don’t even compare that, Manchester United will hardly beat Aston villa in their game. Even yesterday that they managed and get a draw against Porto, it was somehow like a luck, because their performance is not that good compared to Porto, and am sure we all know Porto performance last season, and they are still maintaining that standard. Because they are still have good performance. While Manchester United are facing many challenges from their coach and their management, which if that didn’t do anything about it, it will definitely affect them more than it did to them last season. But if they will try their best in performance I think they might manage to go on a draw with Aston villa but for them to win the game I think it will be very hard because of their present performance.

I guess Manchester United have gotten so bad that FC Porto will be considered a favorite team when they meet. That shows that gone are the days that Manchester United was a serious and feared team. Actually, judging by current form, I think FC Porto is doing better than Manchester United when compared based on their performance in their local leagues. This may be the reason many people think that Porto is the favorite side. Manchester United actually had an early lead and assuming they were able to maintain that, they would have won the match. This is where the strategy of the coach comes in because if it were coach like Jose Mourinho, he would have resorted to playing defense to ensure he .

Lol, just like my thought tho. Last season I had same view about the league I also predicted Liverpool or Arsenal despite Arsenal’s force Manchester city won. They’re good team we all know but I believe their biggest challenge this season will be Arsenal no doubt, I guess you want Chelsea winning seeing they’re performing perfect ever since Pochettino left let’s watch out what will happen next. Manchester city will definitely feel the absence of Rodri meanwhile what’s the issue with Kevin injury it seems he’ll not stay long this time, kevin is also a good player definitely.

The thing is Arsenal have been lacking in having a good finish to a PL season. It has been like this for a couple of years. Normally Arteta is the best manager finding a solution to Guardiola tactics.

But the main problem is they screw up in much easier games while closing in on the PL championship.  Sad  Arteta has a very capable squad in his hands and they can surely go for another try.

As for Chelsea, I must admit. When they sacked Pochettino while the club were on the rise, I got shocked. This replacement with Enzo Maresca was doubtful. But he is really doing incredible at the beginning already.  Smiley

Erik Ten Hag was very good when he got to Manchester United he performed admirably in his debut season in the Premier League and even purchased Antony from Ajex. Manchester United were expected to defeat Manchester City in the FA Cup last season, but Erik Ten Hag's performance was poor.
Relatively in the aspect of the EPL and UEFA nothing as really changed for Manchester United in their performance. The pressure just became more on him now from the fact that he has backed by the club to get the players he wants but sadly there haven't been any much changes in the squad performance, this is something that definitely would warrant him be sack. Just like Frank Lampard first spare as Chelsea coach, he really do well with the likes of Tammy Abraham, Mason Mount and the likes but after the first season whereby he was given funds to get the players he wanted, when they failed to do better he was sack and that is the same thing Ten Hag will possibly suffer now.

This season, Aston Villa are in better shape, making it difficult for Manchester United to win or draw the match. And Aston are playing at home they won't like lose at home, man need to do there best and win the game.
It's ironic that Ten Hag at his point of being fired has to face the inform Aston Villa, though I think they can be the victorious team since Ten Hag and his squad have the quality to do so but how this match goes will show of majority of the players actually loves Ten Hag.

The upcoming match Manchester United will be a favorite, although I'm not sure they will beat Aston Villa.
As I recall Aston Villa were the favorites to win the match, not Manchester United. I personally doubt United can win the match. They have been really bad in the last few matches and have difficulty beating mediocre teams. On the other hand Aston Villa are in a positive trend and are high in confidence after beating Munich. I think many people will bet on Aston Villa to win. I personally prefer a draw. As Slow death said, even though they are in bad form, United can deliver results beyond expectations. So IMO my prediction is that the match will be fierce and United will manage to hold Aston Villa to a draw.

The match will be kind of difficult to predict, and also Manchester United are not in their best form currently while everybody sees how Aston Villa turn up against Bayern Munich in the Champions League. Aston Villa is currently in a good position; they are doing well more than Manchester United, and that is why even if I should predict the match, I will give Aston Villa winning, not even drawing, because I know they will definitely try their possible best to win the match.

Manchester United have been finding it difficult to score a win against a big team, or, let me say, a team that is doing well in performance this while, and that is why I’m curious about them in their upcoming match against Aston Villa.

And Manchester United is better than this and it was a good result but despite the game ending draw they still need to actually sack Ten because is bringing down the performance of the club and we are expecting them to actually do better than this, let's take Chelsea for example when they sacked their coach at least the performance of the club have increased.

That's in the past not the Manchester United we know and under ten they have failed to archive any serious archivement he should retire or even get him self sacked because his not helping the club at all. And the same faith of what happened between them and Porto is what will happen to thwm when they play against Aston villa because last season, playing Aston villa home will not favour is not always favoring their opponents and they are at it already

I don't expect any position changes this weekend in the standings especially regarding the top 4 teams. Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea have relatively easy opponents to beat, so I don't think the top 4 teams will drop points this week.

But it's always like that, football is sometimes unpredictable. Even though the top 4 teams are favorites to win this week, the possibility of bad luck still cannot be completely eliminated. Winning, drawing and losing are part of the game, so anything can still happen. What doesn't make sense is, betting on non-favorites this week including Nottingham, Fulham, Crystal Palace and Southampton.
