If I'm not mistaken, Rodri is the only player who is not among the players Guardiola used last season. Can they claim that Rodri is the only player who helped them win the trophy last season? Guardiola has no reason for how poorly they performed this season because they still have the same players who helped them lift the trophy last season. Even Guardiola, who I believe used the injured players as an excuse, is unable to figure out the reason for Manchester City's poor performance this season, with the fact that their midfield is still good with the players available. Aside from Chelsea and Liverpool, I don't believe any other club has a chance to win the Premier League this season.

The guy is just using silly excuses to cover up his failures. How many times has he used uncompleted players like absence of Haaland, De Bruyne, Rodri and many more to win matches, it's now that they are facing difficulties he want to use injuries to cover his incompetency. It's normal to lose and you can't help it, he just can't believe he won 4 Premier League in a row and then fall down like the way they are doing this season but they aren't the first to see under performance.

He was using Rodri absence some days ago in an interview and I was feeling shame for him, you can't made it up like you are just a novice, he has won Champions League before now, I don't know why he is trying to explain to people he doesn't owe any explanation, it will only makes him weak and weaker and so the team will continue to fall because other teams will comes hard on them at any given opportunities.

We have no doubt that the Manchester City manager is capable enough but the team has not been performing well under this manager ever since Manchester City extended his contract. The Manchester City manager made some wrong decisions in the transfer window and he thought he would lead the team to a good position with his skills but he may have forgotten that along with his skills he needs good players in key positions on the field. Manchester City's midfield is not very good but still Manchester City did not buy any midfielders in the transfer window I would say it was a wrong move for them.
Manchester City's current performance reminds me of PSG because once PSG strengthened all positions but forgot to strengthen the midfield, Manchester City is doing the same thing now.

Normally Sporting is much worse than City, and United is much worse too, and yet they are ending up with wins. This could be considered because Amorim is great, but also the reality is that it is not about Amorim at all and it's about the fact that City has been terrible for a while and that is why they are ending up with terrible results. It has been like 11-12 games since they started to be bad and they are improving their terrible period every week, we keep seeing them lose more and more. Pep is losing his mind, can't figure out why players who normally could win the league, ended up playing this badly suddenly, and he is going mental over why this is happening, I can't really figure out why neither.
