It was very disappointing seeing that Manchester United lost that match at their home against an unpopular team like Nottingham Forest, that was just promoted to the Premiership. However, this shows that Nottingham Forest is very dangerous when they play away against a team that is obviously bigger than them. I remember they also did similar thing to Liverpool at Anfield, a defeat that demoralized the Reds if not that they were able to get over it and started strong again.

At this point it is difficult to know what will be the fate of Manchester United. Despite the changes they have made so far, it seems nothing have really changed much. SO the best they can do now is to manage the league until the season ends or bring in new players by January.
The reason for Man United defeat was not because Nottingham played well, but they have not found their best form since being handled by Amorim. He seems to have not found the best starting XI in the Man United squad, the rotation carried out in this match was also not effective. Onana blunders were also the cause of Man United defeat, although he could not do much about Nikola Milenkovic goal after just two minutes, he made a big mistake when conceding Morgan Gibbs-White goal and confusion when dealing with Chris Wood header.

... And now it seems that we have an intrigue, will Chelsea be able to catch Liverpool and compete with them?
A tough question to answer.  Sad  But I can say it isn't a very low possibility of course. There is no guarantee Liverpool will continue perfectly until the end of the season in the end. Chelsea are going really serious this season. In case of an opportunity arising, I believe they will do their best. However there is an important difference between the 2 teams at the same time.
Although it seems that Chelsea has a chance to be the champion this season but I think Liverpool is on a different level. Chelsea does not dominate the game like Liverpool did. I think the competition between Liverpool and Chelsea this season will be like the competition between Arsenal and City in the previous two seasons. Where City dominated the game and Arsenal performed inconsistently so they failed to win the title. I see Chelsea is still inconsistent with their game. But of course I hope Chelsea can put pressure on Liverpool. It will be boring if Liverpool performs dominantly this season without any competitors.

Trust the process, imbibe consistency

The match has been going on for 10 minutes but United have to be behind by 1 goal even though the match has only been going on for 2 minutes. Nottingham managed to take the lead thanks to 1 goal made by Nikola Milenkovic.
Not a good start to the match for United, but the match is still quite long and they are currently dominating the match with ball possession. If Nottingham manages to beat United this time, then they will get a pretty good position in the standings.
Nottingham Forest football team played well in last match and that match was exciting and that team did 3 goals in this match . I am very impressed by the performance of Nottingham Forest team players.  Milenković did goal at 2 minutes of the match and after we saw goal from Manchester United team and that team players tried to do goal at 18 minutes and they became successful to do goal at 18 minutes.
Gibbs-White did goal at 47 minutes of the match and after we saw one more goal from Manchester United team player and he did goal at 61 minutes of the match.  The  possession percentage of Manchester United team was excellent and that was 72 percent but that team could not win this match.
Manchester United should not have lost this match with the way Manchester United performed against Nottingham Forest. As long as I watched this match, I felt that Manchester United would win this match by a big margin, but Manchester United did well in all areas, but they did not finish well at all. Manchester United had more of the ball in their possession and attacked better but they couldn't finish the way they should have done. This is the first time Manchester United have lost a match since the new manager took over, although most of the matches they have played since taking over have gone in Manchester United's favour. But in terms of opponents, Nottingham Forest was an easy opponent for Manchester United, but against this easy opponent they failed to win, of course it is a minus point for them.

If Manchester United doesn’t flush out most of the players in the club currently, and get new players, I don’t think their will be any improvement in Manchester United’s performance, so they will have to be very active during the January transfer window. We all have seen now that Manchester United problem is not only from the coach, but the players are suppose to be blamed also, I just feel the players don’t really want to play for the club again, so they just have to allow them go, and Manchester United needs to sign quality players.

Thy have huge debt hanging over their head, if you think they're going to be any additions in January then you're wrong, there might be outgoing to keep the book balance and to create space for summer incomings.

team's improvement and at the moment I think Amorim must work more optimally because after all, apart from the great pressure Amorim has at the moment he will also always be compared to Ruud who managed to manage Manchester United's performance well even with the same players so in this case I think it's not just about players that need to be improved but Amorim's way of seeing momentum must be considered because he is the person in charge of Manchester United at the moment.

Ruud was only a quick fix; he was fortunate to have achieved the results he did while still using Erik formation; what he was doing would not be successful for a long time. Amorim was someone they needed, and while he hasn't done much, we can see some positive improvements; it's difficult to bring the best to a club whose players' drive died a long time ago since the former boss did not provide a healthy dressing room atmosphere. Whether Amorim's implementation yields quick results or not, it will take some time before they see results.

Does this indicate that Man United will be very active in the January transfer window? because if he doesn't get rid of some of those slackers then Amorim will just complain about the same thing over and over again.

We all can attest that Manchester United in the past has spent a lot of money in buying new players but most times this business doesn't go well. I believe this is the time to do something different but they should not hesitate to do it as fast as possible before Amorim will get used to these set of players. That's always the problem of Manchester United. When Erik10 came newly, he did things differently and the lazy players became active untill things fell apart again.

The reshuffle will definitely happen but it won't be instantaneous. The Glazer family is still the strongest owner for Manchester United at the moment and we know how they always do everything possible to limit the excessive use of money even though it is for the needs of the club especially in the last few seasons Manchester United has also always transferred players at a large enough price even though the performance of some players does not match the price given.

Amorim's arrival still hasn't contributed anything to the team's improvement and at the moment I think Amorim must work more optimally because after all, apart from the great pressure Amorim has at the moment he will also always be compared to Ruud who managed to manage Manchester United's performance well even with the same players so in this case I think it's not just about players that need to be improved but Amorim's way of seeing momentum must be considered because he is the person in charge of Manchester United at the moment.

There ain’t no love for West Ham United and Wolves here,,, they hand the game of the day and I don’t see no one talking about it yet.

Anyway, I had a great view of the game and it wasn’t all that what I expected. I thought it was going to be one of those games where bookmakers get it wrong by choosing what team to be the favorites with the odds and that 3+ odd on Wolves was really tempting. I’m glad I didn’t go for it in the end.

West Ham United played good football, Bowen was swift in his play and runs, he could have scored more than once. Kudus, had his goal disallowed by the VAR, it was clearly an offside though. The Doucek’s goal that open the goal scoring was a very tricky one, well placed and caught the goalkeeper off guard. Just when he ran to the right far corner to cover it up, Soucek sent the ball high into the top left corner and that was it.

They won and frankly deserved all 3 points in this one.

There's a breaking news that the hearing into the Premier League 115 charges against Man City has just been concluded which means that we are now waiting for final verdict of the matter. If
the final judgement flavors Manchester City, it means they'll retain the titles they've won but if it doesn't, Manchester City might not only be stripped off some of the titles they've won but will likely be relegated to the second division of the English football. Do you think Manchester City will survive this? Or do you think they'll not be getting a judgment that'll favour them? Let me read your thoughts.

I personally think that this Manchester City Saga has taken so long, judgment ough to have been served before now. However it is also a good news to understand that the final hearing has been done, let's see what the fate of Manchester City will be after the final verdict. I don't think that any judgment obtained in favor or against Manchester City who would still be a big surprise or shock to Manchester City management or their fans because this had been undully delayed. I think enough chance has been given to them, the most have prepared to face the worse or have done somethings to avert the worst. Let's see the outcome.

I don't think it is a too difficult question.  Wink
If we take a loot the stats of Liverpool, this team is very consistent during this season. In EPL, they only got 1 defeat and it was in the matchday 4. The defeat was like a bad luck for Liverpool. They dominated the match but Nottm Forest could steal a single goal and win the match. However, the condition of Liverpool is much better now. Liverpool is getting stable with their good performance. I think they are unlikely to miss many points in the next matches. Even in UCL, they are unbeatable, they got 0 lose.

Meanwhile Chelsea, this team surprises us but they still can't perform as great as Liverpool. Both Liverpool and Chelsea already met in matchday 8, Liverpool proved they were better by winning the match. Sure, there should be always a chance for the title but I think the chance to win the title won't be as big as Liverpool. TBH, I favor Liverpool to be the champion.

Liverpool have a much more capable squad you know. They are technically more likely to turn things around in case of a series of failures. I would like to watch a title competition until the end no matter how it ends.  Roll Eyes
You're right. Liverpool squad looks more stronger than Chelsea. Liverpool also played with better tactics/strategies. If there is no bad issues happening with Liverpool squad, I'm very sure they will end up this season as the champion.

Chelsea is definitely improving a lot after last seasons disappointing result. Pochettino is not getting any love at this point if you ask me, I know he is already over at USA national team but that's basically proof that he dropped a lot. He wasn't really that terrible at Spurs, considering what Spurs is doing, Pochettino used to be at least semi decent there, but then PSG wasn't a good period for him, and then Chelsea period showed that he wasn't really up to task.

Maresca is proving that he is a much better manager and he is providing the whole world what this Chelsea team can do. Last season when Chelsea acquired a lot of players, and kept doing that this season as well, that was definitely a big task, and Maresca definitely showed he can do it.

It's almost time and Manchester City is yet to score the winning goal, lets wait for the final whistle before we can conclude since anything can happen and for the fact that Manchester City player Rico Lewis just receive a second yellow card, it will be very difficult for City to win this match.
A red card received by one of Manchester City's players after receiving a second yellow card made Manchester City's chances of scoring a goal even more difficult. That's what made the difference in the game in this match despite the slump that is currently hitting Manchester City.
The final whistle has been blown and the result has not changed 2-2. Manchester City even though they are one player short, they still dominate.
The controversial red card made it more difficult for Manchester City to score another goal. Asides that, Manchester City’s performance this season has been a mixed performance, sometimes they are good other times they are terrible, making them to go down the standings. But I think Pep Guardiola has the technical ability to bounce back from this setback and return to winning ways.
When the red card was received, for me it was no longer about controversy or not. Rico Lewis' expression when he received his second yellow card was surprised that for him it was not worthy of being considered a violation that required the referee to issue a card. However, the referee in carrying out his duties must also be respected.
Let's just say this season is a less than good season for Pep.

Pep's technical ability to make Manchester City good has not changed, but the results that Manchester City will receive as long as their key players are still absent, so I think Pep's technical ability is difficult to realize, unlike other coaches who are not too influenced by the players they have when facing the opposing team.
I use Arne Slot with Liverpool as an example regarding this. So far Slot has been great.

Manchester United performed extremely well, but half of the blame for me will go to Onana, though the first goal was not his fault as it was a header, but the second goal and the third goal are balls he could easily have saved, he has saved balls that are more dangerous than that, but yet he wasn't smart enough to save those two goals. The way Nottingham forest where scoring Manchester United affected the moral of the players, it was as if, whenever they where fighting for a comeback, those goals weakens them, and it was all a struggle to Equalise till the game ended 3-2 in favour of Nottingham forest.

Nottingham Forest won this match by 3-2. It was an entertaining match where N. Milenkovic scored in the 2nd minute and M. Gibbs-White scored in the 47 minute of the game and C. Wood scored in the 54th minute. Hojlund and Fernandes scored a goal each for Manchester United but they could not find the third goal.

The strange thing about this match was that Manchester United got 72% of the ball possession but still they were not able to grab this match. The defense wasn't so good for Man United. All the stats look better for Manchester United expect the final score.

Nottingham have won 7 matches while Manchester United won 5 matches in this Premier League.

City have never looked as desperate as they seem this season. Manchester City are regularly losing against the team against which it could be said that Manchester City will get full points. A performance like this from Manchester City is undoubtedly a huge disappointment. But a club and club management would never want them to perform poorly on a regular basis and even if they have performed poorly unintentionally, they will still try to find ways to get them to perform well again. Manchester City is doing the same but they are not performing well the only reason is that Manchester City currently does not have the players who can give their best performance to win the team.
Manchester City has gradually lost their mojo in the Premier League. Their recent struggles indicate they are officially in crisis. Their performance has been far from convincing, they are losing matches they ought to win with ease. City have not been in sync in the back line and have dropped two points in their bid to defend the title. But I think Manchester City can be able to bounce back from their recent struggles and return to winning ways again.

This has to be the most entertaining game of the weekend. Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea gave us a show. I loved they way Chelsea remained calm in spite of the pressure and were able to turn the tide around and ended up winning the match from a 2 goals down. It was a great performance from Cole Palmer, he’s been a joy to watch ever since he joined Chelsea. Palmer contributes to both goals and assists to help his club to where they are now. Their performance against Tottenham was a good one. I hope they can build on the momentum and continue to move ahead.
Chelsea didn't play well in the first 15 minutes and they were really under pressure and conceded 2 goals. After Sancho scored, they started to improve and they turned things around in the second half. Tottenham actually also played well, but because of a mistake in anticipating the attack, they gave Chelsea 2 penalties. The penalty changed everything and the team couldn't escape the pressure, but of course I agree that it was one of the best games of the week.

Chelsea have really proven that this season they have improved. The increasingly good performance is a danger sign for every opponent, even now Chelsea is starting to be in second place and is trying to provide competition with Liverpool. Nothing is impossible in football and it's possible Chelsea will top the table if Liverpool make a mistake, but either way I don't think Chelsea will do it this season.

Nottingham Forest is a very strong team this season. We can see the good performance of this team since the beginning of the season. Even against big teams, Nottingham Forest players were confident and the team was able to get points. So I am not surprised by Manchester United's defeat in this match.

However, it is true that Manchester United performed very well in this match. Manchester United played well in this match compared to the last few matches. However, as usual, Manchester United lost due to bad defense and goalkeeper's mistakes. Manchester United had 72% ball possession in this match. Even after having only 28% ball possession, Nottingham Forest players were able to score three goals.

Manchester United coach Amorim should now try his best to strengthen Manchester United's defense. If Manchester United's defense is not strong, we will not get a good performance from this team.

The biggest mistake Erik Ten Hag did was to talk down about his players, these players are either mostly young players who want to have a better future, or players that are already good enough in fame, and when Erik did that, every player started to just not care what Erik says and started to just do whatever they want, and the result was terrible, resulted with Erik Ten Hag getting sacked.

Amorim isn't starting out good at all, he is already talking about how players are not running, and they have to start, he is at least saying they are talented, or hinted at that, or maybe he is even saying they aren't even that talented and still not running. Long story short, we need to realize that we are not seeing the team and staff having love for each other at the moment. Amorim should reconsider his talking points and maybe try to just praise the team for their efforts and talk how he believes they can do better or something to get them fired up.

Arsenal dropped 2 points away to Fulham. Fulham took the lead in the 11th minute but didn't play very well and couldn't defend it. Arsenal scored the equalizer in the second half, but it could have gone in their favor. They were a bit unlucky.
Ipswich, on the other hand, lost the game with second-half goals after leading at half-time. They are one of the teams that will most probably say goodbye to the league. It looks like they won't be able to stay in the league for long.

This looks very absurd with the way how they totally dominated the possession, played half of pitch, but their goal came from their defender from set piece. Sigh! I'm totally agreeing if they're a setpiece FC now.

They have Saka and Ode playing together, but nothing changed at all. Their attack always concentrated to the Saka's side, while their left side was being so clueless. No way they can't even finish at the runner up if they keep performing like shite.

6 shots, 3 goal attempts and 0 goals have proven how crap they are now. It's typical Arsenal's gameplay. They looked so damn clinical, scoring machine, and competitive at the start - mid season. When it comes to the mid - late season, they look like a machine that ran out of fuel, but i like that.
