This is a good development from Manchester United. Marcus Rashford to me has been static, he has refused to develop and it's right for Manchester united to cash in on him. Ruben Amorim has to be ruthless with his players,if he wants to achieve success at the club, and he must sell underperforming players that receives huge wages to be able to free space and generate funds to buy players that will align with his vision.
Don't think that Rashford is the player who is the cause of all the troubles for Manchester United, they can of course sell him, but it will not change anything for the better, it will only slightly relieve the wage bill, but will deprive the team of one of the forwards. It would be better for Amorim to try to reveal Rashford's full potential, than to try to sell him so quickly, although if he has already made such a decision, it is clear that he will do it.
The amount of money that Manchester United are keeping Rashford on a year, in fact, if they spend this amount of money, they will get a much better quality player who will certainly perform better than Rashford when he leaves Manchester United. Manchester United have a lot of changes to make, if they are more serious about their team then we will see a lot of changes in Manchester United next season. Manchester United has returned to good performance recently so if quality players can be brought in important places then the performance of this team will reach a better level. Manchester United is playing European League this season due to poor performance last season, if this season they can be between 1st and 5th position in the points table, but they will qualify for the Champions League again, hope the manager keeps that in mind.

Arsenal vs Everton 0-0
Liverpool vs Fulham 2-2

What happened to the performance of these two popular teams? Isn't this a disappointing surprise?  Roll Eyes
I thought Arsenal and Liverpool would easily get full points to strengthen their position, but unfortunately it all ended in a draw.
Liverpool had to suffer a draw after struggling when in the first half Robertson had to leave the field and Liverpool only appeared with 10 players which gave Fulham the opportunity to score.
However, for Arsenal it seemed really difficult to score 1 goal against Everton while Arsenal chances were very big but all of that could not be utilized properly. I'm sure many bettors lost to bet on the victory of both teams.

Why are you surprised? Are not they only repeating last season result? It's common for Arsenal and Liverpool to bottle points in the middle of the season. This may last until the end of the season.

Talking about the game, Liverpool got draw after they went down with 10 players, and appreciated their efforts. It's a though game for hem considering Fulham is at their peak now.

As for Arsenal, they looked so pathetic in this game. They played with their best squad, at home, and no motivation. The worst thing is that they fought against Everton. How lucky they were for not beating Everton.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

In the end, seeing how inconsistent PL big clubs makes me think the winner can't be determined.
Liverpool played a very interesting game, even with the red card they were able to get a draw against Fulham. Indeed it was really an incredible performance from Liverpool players because considering Fulham performance in the premier league if not for the great experience of Liverpool in that game I think Fulham would have taking the lead, But Liverpool were able to create a chances and secured their title race.

Boy oh Boy, I didn't see Liverpool falling at the hands of fulham and I know we might say that the Robetson red card changed the Reds gameplay generally...but this can't be a valid argument as teams have won games with a man down...and btw I expected Liverpool players to be hungry for a win coming from a midweek win which should  have been their motivation...guess they have been brought back to reality...

Arsenal too look like they will be held by Everton who haven't allowed alot of chances to be created by the gunners,  this isn't kind of results I expected to see  Cry

This weekend's games are just somehow because it is not the result we all expected to see, Arsenal surprised me most because they can't defeat Everton, Everton that Manchester United defeated with 4 goals and Arsenal can't score a single goal in the match against Everton at Arsenal field, let be honest Arsenal can not win any trophy this season, even in the Champions League that they are doing well now they will not even reach the final stage of the Competition.

I was expecting Liverpool to lose a match against Fulham yesterday because Liverpool play got a red card from the beginning of the match but they still played well and equalized with 10 against 11 and drew the match, Liverpool is doing better and I hope they can continue like this and win the league, I am not a Liverpool fan but I want Liverpool to win the league so that another team will have a confidence of winning the title next season.

Seeing the performance shown by fulham in the last few matches, actually the draw they got was not something that surprised me, although Liverpool was a little lame after getting a red card, but I think Liverpool has shown the character of a champion team by continuing to fight although they are outnumbered player in the match, so indeed a draw is a fair result for both teams.

For Arsenal, the draw at the emirates is clearly very disappointing, especially now that they need every point to keep catching up with Liverpool at the top of the standings, in that match they had many chances but everton's solid defence and pickford's fantastic performance made every arsenal opportunity wasted in vain, in my opinion, the faillure of the current big teams to win a natural thing considering the busy schedule they have in December.

They weren't going to win forever in this really competitive league of course. But I think Liverpool could have really won if it wasn't for that red card by Robertson. He should also be kept responsible for this point loss. They did their best in the last 15 minutes and even more with the stoppage time but it wasn't enough for a comeback.

Arsenal were in full control of the game against Everton however that winner didn't came no matter how hard they tried. Pickford was really one of the bests of the match with 5 saves.

Chelsea are rubbing their hands now.  Grin

Today, we saw once again what a quality league the Premier League is. Liverpool drew 2-2 with Fulham in a match that was clear on paper.
Of course, the biggest factor in this was that they fell behind 0-1 in the 11th minute of the match, and shortly after this goal, A. Robertson received a red card due to the last man rule and things got worse for Liverpool, but they still did not give up the fight.
Even though they were 10 men, they fought well and made the score 1-1 at the beginning of the second half. Fulham took the lead once again in the 76th minute of the match, but Jota came on the scene in the 86th minute and scored the goal that brought Liverpool a point.
Even though it looked like Liverpool lost 2 points, they actually gained one.
Chelsea, which is going quietly in this league, is in second place and says it is in the championship race.
Tomorrow is the Manchester derby, although City is the favorite, the Red Devils may surprise.
Andy Robertson was shown the red card five minutes after Fulham scored the first goal of the game but that didn't stop the English Premier League leaders from getting an away point today. Liverpool's Arne Slot have once again shown that he's a great manager that possesses the tactical experience to get results in the most difficult situations.
Liverpool's 2:2 draw at Craven Cottage today have given Chelsea the opportunity of reducing their points difference behind Liverpool to just two points if they defeat their visitors Brentford tomorrow and considering the current form of Chelsea, I think they'll surely win that game
Liverpool are in such a good position that despite seeing the red card early, they created more chances than Fulham throughout the match. We can say that they did not experience any disadvantages due to their absence. In fact, it is a good thing that they ended the match in a draw, they almost won. Still, there are two points lost for Liverpool. If Andy Robertson had not received the red card, Liverpool would probably have won this match easily.

Finally Van Nistelrooy tasted his first defeat as a manager in the EPL, Leicester were unable to match Newcastle's strength like they did when they held Brighton to a draw last Sunday, this time they had to admit defeat 0-4 at St. James Park. Van Nistelrooy had to face the fact that his journey as manager at Leicester was not entirely smooth, especially since the quality of the squad he had was not particularly luxurious. Now that Leicester are in an increasingly difficult position, Van Nistelrooy must immediately improve his team's performance if they want to return to winning ways.

The scoreline are interesting because a win is a win and a lose is also consider a lose. Who thinks Leicester didn't deserves such humiliation at St James Park? Ofcourse before facing Newcastle, one ought to be prepared enough to handled the long dangerous attacks. Why blamed the opposite visitors for a tremendous conceding of huge 4 goals? It's normal thing for any club to lose terribly.

Newcastle United thrashed the Foxes 4 nil and this is comfortable win for the Magpies. They're running a smooth race when it involves average teams and there's actually single concerns about their epic form. Eddie Howe is tough to deal with and the earlier these oppositions starts thinking of possible ways to hold him down, the better. Leicester new manager, Ruud van Nistelrooy will succumb to heavy defeats because the club he'd incharged are possibly struggling to win games. Leicester City are not elite when it comes to the EPL race, remember they just got promoted to the EPL side following the outstanding performance they pulled to reach here.

This season is the third season for Nottingham playing in the Premier League, although in the previous two seasons Nottingham was only a promoted team that was always in the lower zone. But who would have thought that in its third season this season Nottingham would really succeed in competing in the top four zone. Also, about the match that just ended, that Nottingham also fell behind first with Aston Villa's goal in the 63rd minute, but Nottingham who played at home also still had great ambitions until Nottingham still managed to score two goals even though the match was approaching  the final minutes.

Because after all, Nottingham was just able to score a goal in the 87th minute and in injury time 90+3, with results like this, Nottingham remains in fourth position with 28 points but the position is still not safe,  because Manchester City also still has a very big chance to be able to overtake Nottingham because Manchester City also still has one postponed match.

At least, I regret it enough because I gave up my intention to bet on Nottingham to win,  but I still took this moment to keep betting with other options.

Congratulations on your winning, I also don't expect Nottingham playing well in the 2nd half. because I saw that they were quite depressed at the beginning of the first half, especially when they conceded first. But the situation changed after Elanga goal declared offside, I see there is a new spirit that triggers goals to be created. Yes, I don't know what made them rise and turn things around so quickly. I almost back to site and want bet to draw because I am sure the match end with this. But, again, the injury time change everything, Martinez should be play like before, but he could not catch that quick ball form Elanga.

Liverpool is a good team. Liverpool looked determined to win despite being a man down. The game was fascinating to watch. If Liverpool are to maintain the first position on the table, they must be consistent. Arsenal and Everton game ended a draw because Arsenal failed to capitalize on the chances they had. It was a disappointing result having a draw at home in front of their fans.

Luckily for Guardiola, his tomorrow opponent, Man United, are also not doing that great (when it comes to the league games) under the management of Ruben Amorim, so maybe the Citizens will break the bad spell and earn 3 points, closing the distance to the top 3.
The City is bookies favourite with odds of x1.64.

Something is very fascinating about the tomorrow’s match. Both teams really need this match to get a win and take away three points. For Pep Guardiola, he’ll want to break the spell of the losing streak he has been accumulating over time. Amorim will also be prepared to get a three points in this match. They are both big teams and they’ll each want to get a point from this team because that’s when they’ll be valued the most ti have gotten back their form.

Manchester City have been in a bad form, and this makes Manchester United to want to also get their three points from them as other teams have gotten, but it won’t be easy for them. Even in the past seasons when Manchester City is not performing well, anytime they meet Manchester United, they usually don’t give them three points but will turn the table around and win them easily. This may also be the case this season, and we shall see which team will prevail over the other despite their poor forms in the premier league games.

Chelsea has had good performance recently and this made us surprised since they were usually in the bad form and they always tried to hire a new coach to get the team improved by hiring new players for this team. Now since Enzo Maresca joined Chelsea they are in the top side of the Premier League and they can even have the chance to win the title at the end of the season.
Enzo Maresca currently has the most expensive squad in the world, and according to the CIES Football Observatory, they spend more than one billion euros on this team.
The average age in Chelsea is also 24 years which is young enough.

Manchester City are really drowning in the Premier League these days.  Sad  If you haven't heard their number of breaches has gone up to 130 recently as well.

https://www.givemesport.com/why-man-city-facing-130-charges-breaching-premier-league-rules/

The result of this big case is expected no earlier than the first months of 2025. They are dealing with a horrible form too on one hand. it isn't difficult to understand how bad situation Guardiola is in now.

Do you think they will still manage to make a comeback from this? This time I started to believe it won't happen. There are really interesting examples in the past of course but I believe this isn't happening again.
You might be correct, Manchester City's form in the Premier League has been a poor and the number of their breaches has gone up to 130. I don’t think City are worried about the charges at all. I’m confident that Manchester City will make a comeback irrespective of the situation. Manchester City are an elite team and having a bad run of form is just a normal thing. Manchester City did the impossible and farmed the league for four seasons. I am optimistic that Manchester City can find their way back on track.

Yeah Robertson left his team one man down and a big opportunity arouse for Fulham there. I believe Robertson's foul was really unnecessary. You can't make up for a mistake by another one.  Sad

Before the game I thought Liverpool might even win by at least 2 goals but they only got 1 point. It is good for the title competition to be fired up more though.

The biggest disappointment was to see Arsenal getting a 0-0 draw against Everton at Emirates. Just how could you waste all those opportunities... A bad day it was for them.

Some sad news is popping up regarding Pep Guardiola, who admitted he has problems with eating and sleeping caused by the stress of the recent period of Man City's underperformance. He also revealed he has been suffering from some skin problems, which has gotten worse:

Why is Pep Guardiola frustrating himself? I know it’s kind of painful, and everyone didn’t expect Manchester City’s performance to drop so low this season, but what he should do is just look for possible ways to fix the problem. He should just be calm so that he will be able to think well and fix the problem. The transfer window will soon be open, so all he should focus on now is how he will be getting some quality players, which will be improving the club's performance.

I don’t think Manchester United will be able to get a win tomorrow. I know Manchester City’s performance has dropped, but their opponents are not also performing well, and Manchester City’s performance is just kind of better than Manchester United, so City should be getting their complete points in the match.

It's easy to forget how stressful managing a top football team can be, especially one that is expected to win the league each season, and there's no room for any dip in performance.
