Liverpool looks to be the candidates to win the league, not only because they are a great team, but also because they lack the competition for it as well. I have to be honest 2 years ago when City and Liverpool fought, Liverpool had one of the highest points of premier league history ever and still came in second, tough luck on their behalf, last year before the bubble they had like 1 loss I think, they were once again champions with such a huge point.
These are things that show that they do not have competition, they are good but teams have to fight them a bit, I would understand them beating the lower level teams easily but these results show that they are unmatched by anyone, even high level teams. Which is why I think other teams needs to get their teams in order.
I think I will disagree with you. One thing you are not putting into consideration is "squad Depth". Virgil was injured and the whole defense turned into a mess (considering the goal considered), it's only a matter of time before the African nations Cup starts. Now imagine salah and sadio out of that team. You still think they are capable?. I guess everyone suggesting Liverpool will win the league again are quiet now. The season is no more young as more than 6 matches has been played and we can see how much each team is progressing. I knew right from the start that it's gonna be Chelsea or spurs. Yes spurs. Don't underestimate them. They have the special one as manager.
