If Chelsea can field Haaland or Mbappe next season, then Chelsea will be unstoppable next season with the help of Tuchel. The Chelsea team is very stable. And their midfield and defense are good enough. I think Chelsea have won the title this season only because of the strong midfield.
Chelsea have already become the champions in the CL with the current squad. If they make a top striker transfer, they will be even much more stronger and favorite for the title again. I don't think that Mbappe transfer can happen but Haaland is very likely actually. They just need to convince Dortmund for that.  Grin
It is not easy to convince dortmund right now, they could just wait one more season and get all the teams financially ready to battle for him, they are not in a rush to sell him right now. Is 150 million a good number to sell Haaland? Definitely a great number but next season when all teams are out of this seasons financial trouble, could he worth even more? He could, that is one more season of Haaland on your team and maybe 50+ more million in your bank as well, that is really not something you could just ignore.

Chelsea can't get mbappe I agree with that, Real Madrid is pushing hard for him and whatever the price is if PSG is willing to sell then Real Madrid will be willing to buy him, of course not for 500 million or some stupid number but I think they are ready to pay 200 million or so for him, but Haaland is not wanted by any other team then Chelsea right now.

Klopp’s Mighty Red Men are coming back to take the crown this season. Van Dijk & Gomez are back fit, Konate has been signed with a couple more hopefully. I am convinced Liverpool will push hard for the title. All the injuries we suffered & we still came 3rd. With a fully fit squad we will be right up there.

I also hope for that. They got a good signing in the form of Konate. Injured players are also recovering so I also don't think they won't be having troubles like last season. With Wijnaldum gone, maybe Keita getting some more chances? What do you think @LFC_Bitcoin?

If no troubles yeah they will be solid in upcoming season.

I believe despite Chelsea taking the champions league from City,City still have the driving force to defend their premier league tittle considering the kind of quality they have in their squad. No team in the premier league has a better squad than City, and knowing fully well that the premier league is quite different from Champions league, very competitive and combative. So I believe City might just still retain their tittle.
What if they get hit by serious of injuries in the middle. Some of them to key players and long term one? Do you still thinks the same. See anything could happen. You might think they will be able to retain the title at one point without some things unconsidered. In a long title race anything can happen, we already saw Liverpool's last season for example.

Now for more Liverpool recovery it looks like it will strengthen the squad again and don't expect the bad last season which resulted in a fatal and finish in 3rd position, indeed this is still good but with all that their efforts are so difficult to achieve and in the end go into champions league qualification.
Chelsea and Mancity might be the strongest candidates but we will see once the season starts in August because we will know the great players when the league starts.
This must have been a change before.

@Coyster for Liverpool to challenge they’ll need to splash the funds in the transfer market, and so far they haven’t made any moves for any player’s. Lastly in my personal opinion only Tuchel is the only real competitor for Pep, but if he too let’s success gets to his head then he’ll suffer defeats.
I don't really think Liverpool have to spend too much if they are to challenge for the title, it looks that way cause they had quite a lot of players injured and all of them will be back before the beginning of next season, thus they just need to strengthen in one or two positions and they are all set to try and win back their crown from City.

Having said that, Chelsea still looks like the strongest contender to challenge City cause Tuchel has been doing very well, but then, we can't overlook United and Liverpool as they'll as well push hard for the title.

After Tottenham failure with negotiation on several managers, including Antonio Conte, the last of them Fonseca, and the reason of failure in those negotiating is on the future deals that the club can have to improve the team. Now they are negotiating with Gatuso who left his position at FIORENTINA after less then a month for the reason of transfer budget policy.
Gattuso did not have a bad season with Napoli. After failure to end Serie A in the top 4, Gattuso left Napoli, not Fiorentina.
News

Actually Gattuso signed this summer with Fiorentina this summer for exactly 22 days before he had a disagreement with them over their transfer policy then he simply resigned.
Good thing that Spurs cut the talks with him early on because i dont think that things will work out with them.
Spurs are not in a good situation to bring on a half baked manager it will hurt both the manager future and Spurs aswell because top players within the club will see that the team have no where to go, that's why its crucial that Kane stays for one more season atleast because if he left more players will follow like Son, Alli, and they will not appeal other players to sign with them.
ernesto Valverde, Nuno Santo should be the ones focused on to bring on.

You are so sure they can win, with them coming. History tells us that not all players have adapted to their new club.
So I don't agree if you believe next season they can win with Haaland or Mbappe. They need stability, even the EPL is not the same as other world leagues. Small clubs are very difficult for many big clubs. I think there will be a lot of drama next season. I also heard that Haaland will not be released by Dortmund. Then Mbappe, they need to compete with many clubs to get him.

A good coach does not guarantee that they will succeed in the new season
It is true. A good coach doesn't guarantee anything, but choosing a bad coach will be a disaster. A coach has a big role to lead all players to play properly on the field. He also determines the spirit of all players. A coach can motivate players to play more confidently or can influence all players to have bad moods because of the characteristics of the coach. In addition, a coach is the one who has the responsibility to determine a proper strategy to play against the opponents.

Gattuso only has good management in Napoli and he fails a lot with Celtic, AC Milan. I don't believe Gattuso will adapt well with Premier League. Even if Gattuso signs a contract with Spurs, it would not be a good contract for Spurs.
Gattuso is a very weak manager and coach, and I don't understand how miraculously he can get into the Premier League. Hemoved from club to club for good connections, I somehow read an article about him, but I do not see the results of his work that would allow him to grow as a head coach. Maybe I'm wrong and someone considers him a talented manager, but I don't see him as such...
I agree with your thoughts, because in my opinion Gatusso does not have enough experience in coaching a club as big as Tottenham at this time, besides his style of play and temperament in coaching will certainly be very difficult to accept by Tottenham Hotspur players and according to the news circulating if the Tottenham fans are Hotspur refused gatusso to coach the Lilywhites, because so far gatusso has not had a flashy achievement in coaching a club and the rejection hashtag that reads #NoToGattuso became a trend on Twitter in England as a form of rejection of gatusso by spurs supporters.

I think he did well with Napoli. Maybe he missed out on expectations of higher levels but he did okish given how Serie A was last season. Yeah he does lack experience and not yet to be called  as a proper manager. Also maybe for Spurs it is getting difficult to get a manager as it has taken a lot of time and now are desparate and hence have proceeded with Gattuso.

I only see him as a bad temper, but maybe for Spurs management, he is the best list if you want to sign him but indeed from all his views there is nothing that suggests that Gattuso is a good thing in building his team, but we never know his fate in the English league likely to shine or not then its the Spurs to try to entrust him.
But I don't know if he is the best in Serie A or if he can be a talent in another league, if you call him that it doesn't give the best to his past team.

I always say, the big clubs need to find a way to get Bielsa but they never listen. This dude managed to bring every club he worked with into a higher level and yes dude is a maniac that would not be a traditional manager who will just work when needed and leave, he is not going to give you just one scheme and leave neither, he is going to change the whole culture and make everyone work much much harder, all those super stars like Kane and Son? They will still have to work harder than any time in their lives, even at that level they will be forced to realize they are just cogs in a machine and that's it.

I know that is why nobody at huge clubs hire Bielsa because there is a chance you can cause your superstars to leave because they do not want to max their effort, but if they do not then let them be, Bielsa at Spurs would turn that club around and make them a winner.

Tottenham is really becoming a laughing stock. They want Conte, no agreement. They want Fonseca, no agreement. Now they want Gattuso, but no agreement as well.
A good coach does not guarantee that they will succeed in the new season but if they can not find a good coach, they will not be able to prepare and complete their transfer campaign and will start the new season in chaos. It's bad.

Quote
I mean, going for Gattuso is laughable by itself and they can consider themselves lucky they did not agree on a deal but Tottenham looks like a boxer on the ropes, just waiting for that last knockout punch.

No way Kane (probably Son too) will stick around and be managed by Gattuso or someone like that. Levy is an amazing businessman, but some of his management decisions are bizarre at best.

the failure of the agreement between Conte and Tottenham, because the management of Tottenham Hotspur felt Conte did not want to work with some of the young players who are currently at the club, while Conte himself said that if Hotspur management could not meet the conditions proposed by Conte in the conversation, was actually Tottenham Hotspur and Fonseca already made a cooperation contract, but the agreement failed due to tax problems even though the contract was completed and would be signed by Fonseca at that time, the difference in tax advantages between England and Italy made both parties end negotiations.
Tottenham itself is known to have offered a two-season contract to Gattuso but reportedly the deal has been canceled for no apparent reason until now, I think Tottenham Hotspur now have to work harder to find the right coach to handle the team next season.
