If Haaland decides to stay in Dortmund next season, and if his teammates (Gini and Depay) do not change teams. Then, this is the right time for Dortmund management to hire a new experienced and skilled coach for the team. And to fight for the title. If Dortmund had an experienced coach like Zidane, I think the performance of their players would have been much better.
It is better to see Haaland staying in Bundesliga, at least with him, Dortmund might have a chance to compete vs Bayern. They need an experienced coach for sure but dunno why I felt it weired reading Zidane's part. I don't see him in Bundesliga, maybe Serie A, EPL or French national team but not in other leagues.

The cost to hire a good coach is worthy. If Dortmund can win the Bundesliga, their key players will have exponential increases in price on the transfer market. Haaland, Sancho, etc and they will be able to sell those players and get bigger income.

They can use those income to rebuild the team. They did with Bellingham as a preparation for the transfer of Sancho. However I do not think Zidane want to work with them, because he want to work with top clubs. The best one for Zidane can be PSG or Manchester United. Bundesliga is not interesting for Zidane so will Zidane join Premier League or Ligue I? If he joins PSG, the main aim is Champions League, not Ligue I.

I don't think Dortmund will sell Haaland. Chelsea desperately do need a striker but Dortmund has already stated that they won't be selling Haaland at all. He is indispensable member of the squad and he was the main goal scorer for them. Even there reports that Chelsea Abrahomovic is willing to give 154 m Euro but Dortmund aren't even budging from not to sell Haaland. Guess all they can do is to wait only.
Like they say, everyone has a price, and should Chelsea show so much interest in Halaad and one or more teams join this race...that 154 million  might go up to 200 million and am hoping it does not get to this because the football market will be dented and this might result in no sales in the future as all good players will be sold at this bench mark and spill over to only the big money spenders getting all good players.

For now BVB  not budging which shows they still this talented lad!
But it seems like the Chelsea owner really wants his interest in Hallaand at a high price, it doesn't matter that it's important to be able to get him, but what can be done if Dortmund don't budge and they will keep Halland who is so important at the Dortmund club.
No wonder a group of big money will continue to hunt with high purchases and also exorbitant salaries what if players are tempted by this de? surely all players want a bigger salary, but who knows if this is a continuation of the story of this ambramovic offer.

Haaland already said that he wants to honour his contract with  Dortmund and stay. It actually depends upon player and how they feel towards the club and think about career. Haaland has many years ahead of him so no rush and he wants to be committed to the team. While players like Gini and Depay feels like time is running out and wants to achieve more as quickly as possible.

Dortmund may want to keep the player as much as they want, but the economic realities and the good price from Chelsea and Abramovich will still take their toll. The case may well move to 200 million euros, because that is exactly what Dortmund is asking for their player. Another question is how other contenders for the player will react to this. However, I think the most important thing in this transfer is what the player himself and all the persons associated with him will say, and it is already in relation to this that it will be possible to talk about the feasibility of this transfer.

Hallaand has become the most sought-after player by a team that has a lot of financial strength in the last few transfer windows. I think he deserves it because of his quality, but do Chelsea really need him to make the team stronger for the 21/22 season?

No wonder a group of big money will continue to hunt with high purchases and also exorbitant salaries what if players are tempted by this? surely all players want a bigger salary, but who knows if this is a continuation of the story of this ambramovic offer.
Big salary offers and team achievement will be a consideration for a player to move. But Dortmund probably won't let him go without receiving enough money from other interested team. I think Chelsea will have to spend quite a bit of money if they want to get Haaland's signature. I hope Haaland isn't like Dembele who faded away when he chose to move to his new team.

Winning money vs risking no achievement next season. Well I think Dortmund doesn't count only on money, losing Sacho services then Haaland will put the team in an awkward situation. We all remember the late comeback of BVB to secure a CL spot after almost its fans lost hope Wink

Chelsea won the Champions League but we see how bad Werner is as a striker. Chelsea need to have a more productive striker. Haaland is perfect because he is so strong, and very productive with goals. Too confident, not like Werner.

With Haaland, Chelsea can use Werner as a winger, not as a striker.
Yes maybe at Dortmund he was great, but some players have difficulty playing in England. But hopefully he doesn't. But if Halland chooses to move to another club, it seems Chelsea must be willing to compete with many big clubs who want his abilities. I don't want him to be just a substitute for the bench. He's still young, he needs a lot of minutes to play so if Halland moves of course he has to choose a club that makes him a player with more minutes.
There are many differences between the Bundesliga and the Premier League. There is a tough fight for the title in the Premier League. There are lots of good teams here. So the players have to stay in form for the whole season. As soon as the players of the team lose form, the team starts to retreat from the title. However, I think Haaland will be able to adapt well to the Premier League. Because he is still quite young and his agility is remarkable.
Haaland news is still surreal to me, Chelsea won the champions league which means they have more money to spend this season, and they are going for that title run eventually, after all they were bad at the start of the season but they were great after Tuchel came in, if they won FA cup that would have been basically just the icing on the cake, they did great at the league.

Unfortunately they didn't finish strong, they could have been third place as well, and that means the potential was third finish, fa cup and ucl all at the same time but they missed it by just two games, sad situation. With Haaland coming in, they could potentially make that work, not going to be easy but it could totally happen and I feel like it is going to happen eventually as well if they can keep improving like this.

There has been some talk of Sterling rejoining Liverpool. Not sure how much truth is in there, but a few of my friends who are Liverpool supporters are sending me texts.

He fired his agent, the guy he always blamed for that 'moneygrabber' interview when he left Liverpool, and he had a mediocre season at City. Maybe they are really crazy and would sell him.

No need to say I'd be thrilled if that happens, he's one of the best English players.

According to the English newspapers, Lampard and Benitez may return to the Premier League during the week, and Lampard to Crystal Palace.
It is said that negotiations have begun, Rafa Benitez to Everton. This move that will certainly anger Liverpool fans.
As for Spurs they are in talks with ex Roma manager that Mourinho was the one hired to replace him in Rome the deal for Fonseca is going to be for 3years.

The French professional player who plays for Celtic, Odsonne Edouard have decided to join Leicester. The player have been in Celtic since 2018 and scored 16 goals in the premiership this season and have been a very talented Footballer.
Celtic placed around £15 million fee on the young player, which the Celtic boss have seem to be cheap. According to report, Arsenal also had interest in the striker, but it seems they lost him to Leicester.

Odsonne Edouard is a still young and very talented player surely. He is a really promising striker. And Celtic want only 15 million pounds for him which is really nothing for a player like him. Leicester shouldn't miss this opportunity. Arsenal's job is really hard here because they couldn't manage to qualify for any tournament. However, Leicester are going to be in the EL next season.

So I don't think Manchester City will benefit much from Grealish's high price at the moment.
Grealish is not young and with $100 million, Manchester City can sign with Jadon Sancho. With Foden and Sancho, Manchester City will have a good preparation for the next 5 or 10 years.

Apart from having other players with the same position, with 100 million, i agree,  I don't think this will be an option for City. apart from the City rumors, I read in several media that Manchester United are also considering this player, even MU legend, Ferdinand said that Grealish might play an important role for MU to win the EPL again. Some players also expect MU can bring Grealish.
Will Grealish be able to connect with Bruno Fernadez? Two great players does not mean they can play well together. England have Lampard and Gerrad but in many big tournaments, they never played well in the same squad. The hard thing is coaches can not put one of the two out of the squad because they are top notch box-to-box midfielders.

I think Manchester United will have more wisely transfer strategy if they improve their squad through transfers for three positions: central defender, striker and a wing back.

~snip~

Supposedly for matches that are not too crucial, Solskajer should give Bruno Fernandes a chance to rest, so that when important matches are in progress, Fernandes can bring out his best performance.
You are right as in the league game last week, they can play more relaxed because they are safe in second place and in the UCL zone. It seems that Ole doesn't trust other players, that's why he always appears without rest. Even thanks to this he broke many new records. If I look at the transfer market Bruno made 37 appearances in 3108 minutes. He managed to make 18 goals and 11 assists. Not in another cup he has almost played 4500 minutes in a season with Manchester United.

Yep, it seems not a proper time for Grealish to join Man City. There are already some players with the same position, they also played well in the last season. Moreover, Man City targets a big player like Haaland in this transfer window, so they will spend big money for CF position. 100 million isn't a small amount of money, they probably will have difficulties if they force to sign Grealish.
