- A Black Lives Matter logo will be on shirts for the rest of the season
In which part of the shirts btw? Isnt this going to overlap with their sponsor's logo. Some shirt might have specific size for their own logo that might overlap or perhaps make the main sponsor's logo on their shirt looks weird (?)
The right decision at the right time or they shouldn't have made such a decision?
I think they are sending a very good message and I'm personally glad about that.
They are definitely trying to send some good message among their viewers and fans however on the other side, I do see that this is a great marketing technique. By making this decision, they are probably trying to get some sympathy from US viewers . Sending good message across the world through football and on the same time trying to get more sympathy from viewers, top rate marketing indeed
I mostly agree with you and the real question is whether these decisions are good for football or not.
Should sports clubs and associations concentrate only on sport, or as in America publicly express their opinion, like kneeling when the American national anthem is performed?
Given the close and good political ties between America and Britain, it is a little strange to me that the Football Association of England has decided to take this step.
