Great to hear that things are being done. I also believe that a working wallet need to be built before exchanges are approached. But a listing on Bittrex is needed and should be pushed by both devs and community.

@crowetic: Will the progress be pasted to the public github?

Sounds good. As ICFiedler suggested, we could start a coordinated approach once things are ready. No need to rush things.

Great to hear - and thanks for updating, I agree its difficult to get an unstable wallet listed on an exchange - will be great if we get these little bugs resolved and a nice stable version =)

I fully agree. In today's crypto landscape a coin without a reasonable exchange is like non-existing. We need a good listing and I think bittrex is the place to go. I would suggest to await the upcoming fixes and then make a coordinated push to cinvince bittrex about how beneficial it will be to list QORA.

I have a question. Does anything speak against trying to get the coin listed on Bittrex? I feel this project deserves a solid place to be traded at, and Bittrex can sometimes be convinced by tweets from the community. Once they realize that there is decent interest from the community, they might add it to their platform.
So if there is solid interest in getting it listed there, it might be a good first step to tweet to @BittrexExchange and @richiela and ask for QORA to be added.

Hello everyone.

Just wanted to pop in and let you all know what is going on currently.

1. I've got a bunch of new nodes with modified QORA version running that should be stable.

add these nodes to your settings.json file

2. I've built a new team to develop QORA. 4 dedicated people are now working on the project. I am suggesting that we figure out the db issue first and go from there, but I have plenty of ideas for the future, once I've gone over them with the devs I will post here and we can talk about it as well.

3. I've let the CEO of OpenLedger know that I have a full time dev team now working on QORA, and we'll be listing QORA on OpenLedger ASAP.

The new nodes should keep the network strong while we fix the other issues in prep for a new release.

I have some other ideas as far as modifying the coin's algo, etc. But we'll have to discuss that more as well.

For now I just wanted to let everyone know that things ARE going on, and now there will be a much more active situation.

i think we - the community - should be able to find a new place for qora, im defintily not willing to sell any for 1-2 sats, the tech has way to much potential. i reached out to crowetic and asked him if he can upload the small fixes which were made in the precompiled jar to the public github, that should be a good starting point for further development. if the latest source is available i know some people (including myself) which would love to have a look at few things which needs to be fixed

I'm surprised that no (live) exchange snapped QORA up yet - the market cap was a few million - it'd make some of the smaller exchanges - I'm holding on to my QORA hoping to such an event - although I've taken the value off my portfolio

Qora is not dead yet as long as devs are doing their work.
We have a community, even it is not that large, raise money to get listed is not a problem.
