Yes, your right their are individuals who are born superiority, just like I remember the theory of Alfred Adler theraphy.they just want to became a rule model a leaders.
In order to choose a good quality leaders we should do a research about his personal background.
Agreeing with Thread Starter's opinion, being a leader is not easy, there are many things we must learn, always being humble to listen to the opinions of good people that opinion becomes your opposition, always positive thinking, being the best for friends you and your work, learning to set the time on-time because being a leader is always a concern of your friends then you should not be arrogant, many people are lulled when a leader in a company, my advice to avoid the ugly nature of learning to mingle with circle or class below you, then you will get many opinions that will build much your nature and leadership.
A good leader does the work with his subordinates and leads, not just ask them to do the work. Good leader also acknowledge his workers rather than take the credit on his own. It's kinda difficult to find this kind of leader nowadays.
A good leader should be a role model and make his team solid. Superiors in a quality office should also have a unique aura, which can motivate workers. If you want to know what kind of leader qualities the team needs:
1. Decisive in Making Decisions
If anyone wants to be a good leader, they should not be unstable in making good decisions for the team or organization. They should also be able to consider all the factors or risks that will occur before deciding to take the decision.
2. Should Be Inspiring Others
Usually a bad boss can only ask the workers. Though a qualified leader is not only ordered subordinates, but they are able to inspire employees to do their job well.
A leader in a team is also expected to be a role model for his team members. They should not be lax in their work or lazy in taking responsibility. If the leader is lazy to do it, it will only give a bad impression to his team members.
3. Must be Smart
This is one of the main requirements to be a good leader. If leaders in a team are not smart enough, they will not be able to make the right decisions for their team. They should also be smart to think and decide what needs to be done in different situations.
4. Want to Listen to Others
A qualified leader should be able to encourage his team members to speak. If a leader fails to listen to his or her employees' opinions, then his thinking is too narrow and they may miss a good solution or idea given by the team members. When team leaders listen to ideas from their team members, members will feel appreciated that their views are also taken into account.
5. Must Could Handle Emergency Situations
A good team leader must be able to handle the emergency situation well. If there is a crisis, they should remain calm and also help their team members to deal with it. If panic, then the leader will not be able to make his team calm. So, the team leader must keep the peace, act quickly but neatly, and help the team out of the crisis.

I think the best quality of a leader is he or she is also a good follower. It is imperative for a leader to listen to his or her subordinates thoughts and ideas. leaders have an outstanding quality that is why they are chosen by people to become a leader. but some leaders do have them when the election is going on but after election their true colors will be shown. i guess the best quality of a leader is understanding. because by understanding the leader will not only judge by the act that a person commits but also understanding the person's past and history then trying to balance it with the act that he commits.
Leader is someone who delivers himself in a team. He is not flying high he will do the 'dirty' job also. It is not only about knowing what you want but also taking out the best from your teammates. There is no anything that he is scared off and do well even under the pressure.
