The chances of winning are not the same in gambling, we can't see that in a 50:50 manner, but rather 90:10 for a win, of course a very small thing, when talking about profit opportunities.

Gambling has the risks of trading and investing also has risks, but on the other hand, gambling provides its own pleasure and satisfaction that we cannot possibly get from trading or investing, so there are no words to waste money as long as we have what we have.
And from this pleasure and satisfaction, it can be very difficult for someone to stop gambling.

Actually what I know is that stopping gambling addiction is easier to do than quitting addiction from drugs, even though we know gambling addiction there is still a chance to win even though the percentage is small, but still gambling addiction is easier to cure because usually when someone is an addict has lost everything from his family or his assets he will heal himself when he feels alone and loses everything.

But depending on each human being, there are those who can heal themselves, there are also those who are desperate for it because they are frustrated because they have lost everything and have lots of debt everywhere, making it difficult to get up to recover. Logically, it will not make him die if he has to leave gambling, which is actually not must be done, simply reducing gambling is more than enough.

and also you are correct that those are all leading to same thing and that is to lose our life if not managed correctly .

When I watch videos on game addicts, I always feel sorry for their wives.
Just imagine, these are the women these men have achieved, they won them in their youth with some of their positive qualities. And these women decided at that moment that they would connect their lives with this beautiful man. They believed in a bright future, experienced difficulties and conflicts. Gambling is supposed to be our source of fun and entertainment as that's what it was created for but there are people who made it a hobby where they are already doing it excessively and without limitations. If we are doing it beyond normal or if we are already being controlled by our urges then we might be falling for gambling addiction which makes us hard to quit or stop.
It will never be hard to quit if we're wise enough to handle gambling and we're disciplined to control ourselves. It's fne to rely on it if we seek fun and entertainment but we shouldn't go beyond our limits.

Yes I have seen people that started gambling just for fun and entertainment but as time went by they became addicted that they can't stop gambling even when they're not making money from gambling. They just do it to fulfill a desire in their life because of how sorrowful it is.

Some gamblers gamble because it make them escape reality. The fact is that people are passing through alot in life that if they decide to tell you, you won't blame them for the decision they're making. Bars get filled always it's because people are use drinking to ease their pains.

People use gambling as a solution to their pains, when they win that's the only happiness they get in life and always want to play more so they win and get more happiness then it becomes a habit and they keep playing which ends them getting addicted and hard to quit.

actually that term alone "Gambling Regularly" is already a sign of addiction because there is no such thing as to gamble regularly
if there is  no addiction added to our life so it is not a sign instead that is already an addiction.

so most of those who has this behavior is not really having fun actually instead they are playing to win more money.
also giving up something that we are addicted is a task that only few got to win till they die.
i managed to meet a friend in the past that ended losing everything in life , just because they choose
to maintain their addiction instead of loving and caring His family.

Usually an addict when he has a friend or family sometimes still tries to borrow money because if he still wants to gamble and become an addict, but if he feels depressed enough to lose his family and all his assets he will usually recover on his own or choose to end his life. Most people who have a lot of debt because of gambling need friends for fear of committing suicide.

 Yes you're right and also most people who where able to discover their addiction for gambling, find it difficult to quit, due to several factors and like you said the internet and technology also have made it very easy for people to get addicted to gambling because there where times when distance, weather, and other factors do hinder people from going to the casino daily, but currently  gamblers doesn't need to worry about going to the casino because they could do it from the comfort of their homes all they just need is a good device and an internet connection which is becoming very easy to access even in the rural areas.
 It's very important to try as much as possible to resist the addiction of gambling because apart from losing money it has other negative and harmful effect like depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, mental disorder due to much thinking therefore if you have a friend or relative that you notice is finding it difficult for a day to pass by without staking a bet it is your responsibility to put them in order and advise them of the consequences of addictive gambling because once they become additicted most times it seems difficult to quit.

I highly agree, especially when it involves addiction, the support should be more than 100% and the relative must make sure that the person is cured before letting him alone.

You have a good point as if it's already turn into addiction so it's no longer just for fun or entertainment but most with a desire to continue playing and control is no longer from that person itself, and it's very possible as you said, when you already engage and you are unable to control yourself then it will be too difficult to quit.

Though more on a case to case, as there are gamblers who only play occasionally and doing it completely for fun and entertainment, people who have lots of things to do in life and not going to engage too much time in gambling.

There are some acts that are done by impulse and not because the person now understand what they are doing. A gambler may not even know he needs help when he becomes an addict to it, it comes to him as what he must do and so at such a stage, it is the neighbors, family etc that can identify the act and forcefully get help for him either by encouraging him or making it for him to gamble like taking the phone away, refusing to provide internet network if he can't subscribe data for himself. The external difficulties are what will discourage him but for him to complain, that may not happen.
