For bitcoin usage you can use it to purchase some goods in online store such as pinterest, fiver and etc. Or ins ome country you can withdraw your btc in atm machine. I think fhere are no issue for long confirmation (especially in online store) since we have already transfer the btc for payment.
I've been here not so long ago but I understand what is really the main purpose of bitcoin through researching, reading articles, news and other information related to bitcoin and other cryptos. It started supposedly as a digital currency an alternative money for our fiat money but because bitcoin is getting more valuable since its value is increasing rapidly year after after it suddenly turns out into an asset. Instead of using bitcoin as a medium for paying goods or services, most people are keeping it in their wallet waiting for its value to pump before cashing it out to gain more profit. Now only a few are using it as a digital currency and in most cases, its actual or real life usage as of today was an asset and not a currency.
According to my concept Bitcoin can be used for our daily life since most of the companies accepts Bitcoin . since Bitcoin is not tangible asset it is stored electronically and the payment is transacted without a central body it is operated by an open network .Bitcoin is a digital decentralized currency and it has a limited supply of 21 million coins only created . The transaction of Bitcoin needs no identity of the user or the dealer it is anonymous .
It all starts with something. Bitcoin is still very young and it takes time to gain such popularity to you will be able to pay with Bitcoin in most stores. A huge number of people have not heard or know poorly what Bitcoin is. This is the main factor, because of which it is not so easy to use bitcoin in real life. But this is a problem of time, every day more and more people learn about Bitcoin.
If you want buy anything online, Bitcoin will be the standard in the near future.
right now the btc is only treated as an asset reather than a currency and the shopping habits with btc are being shifted towards purchasing goods with higher prices such as property and cars rather than coffee.
I've use bitcoin to buy computers, gold, silver, and various collectibles on this forum. It is very useful if you know how to spend it.

In my opinion When animals evolve, they pass through many intermediate stages which are determined by environmental factors. They do not jump to the ideal form, so their development is always linear. Pretend as if we started in the water and evolved into fish and the fish was btc. But the water is very competitive and we can not beat Visa or PayPal at this moment in the water and there is food on the ground so we struggle to get out of the water and crawl in the mud for our food. Mud represents the darknet market. Yes, fish is not the best way to cross the mud but it works and is the first step needed before we grow the legs and start running.
