No need to concentrate on rumor bitcoin is the king and father of all cryptocurrency. Litecoin seems good as an altcoin but it cannot be compared to bitcoin. Bitcoin still in the top place even in this bear market when the market will rise back then bitcoin would be the skyrocket.
I doubt the truth of these rumors. There are no prerequisites for Litecoin to replace the main cryptocurrency. I have always considered Litecoin as a testing ground for testing new updates that are going to be implemented in the main bitcoin network. Maybe I'm not good at it, but I still don't understand the value of LTC.
Litecoin is not trying to replace Bitcoin. Litecoin is more like Bitcoin's younger brother. I think Litecoin is a good coin, but still Bitcoin is coin number 1 and I don’t think Litecoin can become more popular than Bitcoin.
I agree that it is a good coin, but I also doubt that Litecoin will become currency number 1. although I myself keep some Litecoin in my portfolio. 
I'm not sure that anyone can replace Bitcoin next year because almost all types of coins still depend on the current price of Bitcoin. Can anyone tell me what other types of coins don't depend on the price of Bitcoin?
Next Bitcoin cannot be litecoin because bitcoin is an altcoin and just like others alts, it will always be in the shadows of bitcoin for now.
There can be no such thing. Even Ethereum is much better than Litecoin, personally, my opinion is that it is a copy that was simply speculated on the market, but it has no future. There are projects much better!

Everything is possible in crypto sphere but I doubt that Litecoin will be next Bitcoin. Firstly, there is no need to be "next Bitcoin". Secondly, there is Ethereum that is in fact second most popular coin after Bitcoin. So why should Litecoin take this ghostly place instead of Ethereum? 
In fact, it’s more likely that litecoin is hardly needed if bitcoin drops to the very bottom, litecoin will follow it. I know many who invested huge money in lite when it cost 150$. Now they are in a panic like everyone else.
Sure it is, LTC is one of the best coins on the market. It was among the first coins that entered this industry and I like it much more than Bitcoin. They have released the latest update and LTC has become even faster than usual.

I don't think so... that Litecoin is next to bitcoin because there are some coins that is better than Litecoin and i think Litecoin will not be the next bitcoin in the future. I believe that Ethereum will be someday, and will surpass bitcoin as the number one cryptocurrency coin. My answer is no to Litecoin and Yes to Ethereum.
I do not believe in such rumors, because Bitcoin is the only one and hardly anyone can take his place!
I do not think that LTC will be able to become a leader. It seems to me that most likely this place will be occupied by Bitcoin Cash. But this is only my guess.
Bitcoin is the pioneer of digital currencies and hence the eldest in the crypto space. Despite extreme volatility in its price, history has always proved that bitcoin bounced back. If the current scenario is taken into consideration the value of bitcoin has plunged down to a great extent. But it will repeat the history this time as well. Litecoin has a long way to go in order to replace the first ever digital currency bitcoin and it is not going to happen anytime sooner. Thus, litecoin cannot be termed as the next bitcoin.
if be sure i dont think that litecoin will take place of bitcoin. its impossible. Bitcoin is always leader in cryptocurrency and other token never take this position.
I don`t think that Litecoin will replace the Bitcoin. But for daily human trading/buying Litecoin is more suitable because of his smaller value.
Lite and Bitcoin coins are still at a much different level so it is very difficult to be able to replace Bitcoin. not only Litecoin but almost all altcoins are difficult to replace Bitcoin. Bitcoin and Litecoin have strengths and weaknesses as well as their respective roles. so Lite coins will always be on track.

Many rumors seem to only mislead investors, because whales need these misleading to achieve price control! We should learn how to distinguish the true and false of rumors!
There are no paths in the crypto space for Litecoin to become a leading coin and claim the place of Bitcoin. Litecoin will be on the list of the top 30 for a long time. It is very difficult to get Litecoin to the first lines. The competition is high. Too many altcoins appear with all their modern qualities and originality.
