Rumor will always be a rumor and I am not a believer of it . Though litecoin is same as bitcoin and has lower fees compare to bitcoin but it doesn't mean that it's the crypto that will replace to bitcoin .

Litecoin is a good alternative coin but it is being the next Bitcoin is hard to tell because the competition for altcoin are getting harder and tighter. It needs to compete in terms of speed of transactions, security and cheaper transaction fee. It also needs a new feature that could make it to top. Hmmm.. I don't think so.. for now it is impossibe that Litecoin will be the next Bitcoin. All i can say now that it is so impossible now to replace bitcoin. Maybe in 5 years or 10 years bitcoin can replace but this time, it is a big NO.

However, LTC has four times higher than the total amount of Bitcoin that can be mined. This means that along with increasing demand, there will be a larger supply of LTC to achieve it. I think, it's hard to replace BTC ...

No. This is not possible ... Litecoin has a lot of problems, and in fact the team is not really trying to solve them.
