High fees = low BTC price

Secondly there are negative reports regarding the unreasonable transaction fees for small payments.

$100 for coin payment is not small, we are not dealing in government treasury notes here and being charge $35 for the transaction is a total joke
and it said in the white paper "Virtually free transaction fees"

Quote
Still, Bitcoin remains up over 1000% since Q1 2017, so is still in a very strong position.
With both ETH and XRP going up faster it does not place BTC in a string position and these two will both
knock BTC off the top if they don't sort the fees out and get them back below $2.00 per transaction and that's
still high.

Fees up = Price down

Reasons why #Bitcoin is droping:

- Not a single rebrand since 2009
- No "huge news" or "strategic partnerships"
- Not enough airdrops
- Not enough PhD graduates on the team
- Team not doing bounties...
- Logo is not cool
- Satoshi is not being communicative

This was tweeted by person named Crypto Rand, what do you think about his tweet . I think these reasons always exit but Bitcoin is still very expensive, I would like to know your thoughts on this
I think the price of bitcoin is dropping because of the high transaction fees and very slow transaction speed. The bitcoin users are paying an average of $25 per bitcoin transaction and still the confirmation time is very slow. while people that are using altcoins such as bitcoin cash BCH are paying less than $0.03 per transaction and enjoying very fast transactions. The bitcoin network is really congested at the moment and there is a very strong competition out there for bitcoin, I think these are the major reasons why bitcoin value is dropping.

I'm not going to take the reasons seriously. Its utterly garbage for me. The reason for the price of bitcoin getting stalled ad of today because of FUD. What has the LOGO something to do with the price? Satoshi has not been in communication years ago already. Bounties? WTF? He is just trolling. I would have agree if the authors say about the cost of transaction is really affecting the price, but the reasons above? Nah.. We have to remember that the market is based on pure speculation. If there is a negative news, verified or not, investors will shy away from flocking to the market. Read all about the South Korean FUD and decide for yourself if the news contributed to the roller coaster ride that we are experiencing.

The user anushkasachith888 is just having fun and making funny comments. All the mentioned reasons by the user is either made for fun or he/she is a kid with no practical knowledge it seems. Bitcoin is falling due to as mentioned new Korean speculation and banning news, and speculative forcasting by some top investors and traders is acting as a catalyst.

And does he have superpowers to see the future or is he is some wizard who has crystal balls? as I did not see him show any of the things (superpowers or crystal ball) then he is equal to all of us who make price forecast, nothing more.

I see it all as a big joke, these are requirements for altcoins, bitcoin has already conquered your space and bitcoin has real-life use.

Haha bitcoin doesn't has a team which controls everything like we have for other coins. I mean the creator himself is no where and the rest of the people making improvements to it are just volunteers. How do you expect volunteers to run bounties or airdrop to popularize something they don't even own. Even if they do so how can you really expect them to enter into agreements on behalf of bitcoin?
Yes I agree with you bitcoin is like a social venture which is decentralized without any central head. So all the improvements is done merely by volunteers. Moreover any news really makes the coin lot volatile because there is no official team to verify the news as to its validity.

I would say that guy, whoever he is, got it all wrong and has no idea of what he is talking about. No huge news or strategic partnerships? First bitcoin is already mainstream in terms of awareness. Bitcoin is still talked all over the place, so I don't know what he means. As for partnerships, I just have to say that bitcoin is decentralized, so why would it have strategic partnerships? The only thing that can happen, is to advance in terms of regulation, and be accepted as a payment method, and that is happening slowly (expect for the payment method thing, but that is because of the fees involved in tx).
"Not enough PhD graduates on the team" is he serious?? The bitcoin dev team is the best in the crypto space, and no other coin even compares with it, so that is just plain wrong.
As for the other reasons pointed out, they just seem irrelevant as a big joke. Bitcoin needs some development, in order to solve it's scalability uses and user interface, but that is being worked out. Even recently I read something about Jonas Schnelli trying to create ways for everyone to be able to run a full node by itself, without having to be a tech savvy.

The reason bitcoin is dropping is obvious, and I believe most of the reasons listed in OP are either trolling, or joking.

Firstly South Korea proposed new bans for Cryptocurrency exchanges, obviously this is bad news, but probably not worth the 25% drop. Secondly there are negative reports regarding the unreasonable transaction fees for small payments. Still, Bitcoin remains up over 1000% since Q1 2017, so is still in a very strong position.

Bitcoin is only dropping because false news and extremely huge FUD, nothing more than that.

And if you mean that bitcoin is dropping because it is dying, then let me tell you that you do not even know how bitcoin works, came on! Just be realistic.

That's because age is beginning to weigh on him and this isn't just his area of speciality.

By the way, what are the indication that the price of Bitcoin have been dropping,  by now it ought to have tanked if that was to be the case  but instead am seeing an asset that was ostensibly overbought making much anticipated  market correction or was anyone nursing the idea that the much acclaimed trip to the moon would be a one way trip? It's a fact that not one financial market works that way and Bitcoin is not going to be an exception.
Instead of fretting over the drop in the price of Bitcoin, any savvy trader should seize the opportunity to once again buy Bitcoin at a reduced rate before the next rally gets on the way - I understand FUD won't let some people  to and that is why they're always missing the bus.

Every pump will be followed by a correction as there are lots of people who are here only for the pump money and they run out as soon as they see some profit. This is the time when people just sell other coins when they get a little pump in them and keep collecting bitcoins.

May be i will wrong but in my point of views wise your reasons are not valid reasons. Actually bitcoin is down about a big pump and mostly investors have earned big profit from bitcoin that's why bitcoin price is down. But if you see then still bitcoin has a big price and it is still big valuable price. We can't say that bitcoin is doing to die.
You are right. The things discussed by the OP from twitter is a technical problem. Market fanatism towards bitcoin is more likely due to demand and supply, which is heavily influenced by the issue of legality and and investor speculation.
Too many threads that discuss about bitcoin price reduction. Come on guys, keep calm. This is a very natural thing for bitcoin.

While you are correct in properly riding the wave out, speculative investing and theory crafting is always fun and allows for morning entertainment with my coffee =P

I think the devaluation this time is hard to explain, there are not any announcements from governments about the crypto market. Maybe this time is simple that people lose patience to wait for the price to recover so they have sold out. However, due to the excessive quantity, the prices have been reduced dramatically. But, in my opinion, the price will start to increase again; with the current price, certainly it will attract a large number of new investments.

South Korea has stopped all markets, making millions of traders across Asia more wary, Visa blocked pre paid cards and this things make investors calm and wait, making the prices go lower.

It will stabilize and pump again.
